Bella May Culley: Pregnant British teenager's lawyer in warning over Georgia prison conditions
A British teenager being held in a Georgian prison, accused of smuggling 14kg of cannabis into the country, has complained she is not getting the medical care for her pregnancy.
Bella May Culley, 18, from Billingham, County Durham, reportedly told a court in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi last week that she was pregnant.
The teenager is facing life imprisonment, which is 20 years, after she was arrested on suspicion of carrying dozens of bags of the drugs into the country. Ms Culley had been travelling in Asia, but had not been heard from since 10 May.
Speaking to her new lawyer, Mariam Kublashvili, she reportedly said she was not getting the medical care she required.
Ms Kublashvili told The Sun: 'Bella is pregnant and needs medical care which she complained she wasn't getting.
'She asked me for tuna fish which I thought was odd and might have been something to do with pregnancy cravings - but I found out later fish cannot be sent in.
'She told me no tests, checks or medical examinations have been done.
'She said she asked for a doctor, but the doctor wasn't speaking English and they couldn't understand each other.'
Ms Kublashvili added: 'She doesn't fit the profile of a drug trafficker at all. For anyone, like me, with experience in dealing with such cases, it would be quite obvious that she is a victim here - she's been used and manipulated.'
A British Foreign Office spokesperson confirmed that Ms Culley had been detained in Georgia and that they were supporting the teenager's family.
Her family first launched an appeal for the missing teenager last Tuesday morning. Her father, Niel Culley and aunt flew out to Bangkok over the weekend to find out more about Ms Culley's whereabouts, only to discover that she was in Georgia.
The father said he would stay 'as long as it takes' to end her ordeal.

Jeng Chow, 30, and Ley Wat, 25,were recruited as mules to carry the drugs for just £800 each in cash. But they were stopped at Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport by Border Force officials. They pleaded guilty to one count of being concerned in the fraudulent evasion of a prohibition on the importation of a class B drug. Prosecutors said Wat was in debt when he and Chow were recruited by smugglers to bring the drugs to the UK. The couple were provided with the cannabis and promised cash following a successful handover. They left Malaysia on April 16 and flew via Qatar before landing at Manchester. After they were caught with the drugs, Chow and Wat claimed they had travelled to the UK for their honeymoon. The court heard the drugs were worth £99,000 at wholesale prices but the street value would have been "much higher". When she was interviewed by police, Wat told officers she believed her suitcase contained alcohol. She also revealed she and Chow were in contact with a third party and that someone was going to pick up the drugs at the airport in exchange for money. The couple will be deported back to Malaysia once their sentences have been carried out. Their sentencing comes amid a spate of similar drug mule cases - with around 13 Brits currently kept in hellhole jails abroad. An Atlanta family whose home was wrongly raided by the FBI will get a new day in court, the Supreme Court ruled unanimously on Thursday. The opinion comes after a predawn 2017 raid in which an armed FBI SWAT team smashed in a front door and set off a flashbang grenade, pointing guns at a couple and terrifying a 7-year-old boy before realizing they were in the wrong house. The FBI team quickly apologized and left for the right place, with the team leader later saying that his personal GPS device had led him to the wrong address. The couple, Trina Martin and Toi Cliatt, filed a lawsuit against the federal government accusing the agents of assault and battery, false arrest and other violations. But lower courts tossed out the case. The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found they couldn't sue over what amounted to an honest mistake. The appeals court also found the lawsuit was barred under a provision of the Constitution known as the Supremacy Clause, which says federal laws take precedence over state laws. The family's lawyers appealed to the Supreme Court, arguing that Congress clearly allowed for lawsuits like theirs after a pair of similar headline-making raids on wrong houses in 1974. The 11th Circuit was also ruling differently than other courts around the country, they said. Public interest groups from across the political spectrum urged the justices to overturn the ruling, saying its reasoning would severely narrow the legal path for people to sue the federal government in law-enforcement accountability cases. ___

' ex husband Simon Guobadia has been deported back to Nigeria after a four month ICE detainment. has confirmed that the 61-year-old estranged husband of Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Porsha, 43, was released from the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement's custody and sent back to his home country. Guobadia is also no longer listed on the system of the US Department of Homeland Security. has reached out to representatives of Williams and Guobadia. His status was listed as 'in ICE custody,' according to U.S. Department of Homeland Security's records. In the couple's prenuptial agreement it states that its 'central purpose… is to avoid contested and expensive litigation, including the costly and potentially intrusive discovery process, if an Event of Dissolution occurs.' Now the ruling from the judge reads that the court finds it 'undisputed by both parties that the Prenuptial Agreement at issue in this case was negotiated by the parties with very competent lawyers over a year length of time, and included the exchange of financial disclosures, such that the issues of fraud, mistake, misrepresentation, and duress are clearly addressed in multiple provisions of the Prenuptial Agreement. 'Essentially, the crux of Husband's argument could have been explicitly contained within the four corners of the parties' Prenuptial Agreement, and it was not.' This is considered to be a massive victory for Porsha as she is now at the final step of divorce proceedings and as the couple's prenuptial agreement is upheld by court, she will be awarded her legal expenses by her ex thus walking away a single woman. Back in February Porsha broke her silence over the end of her 15-month marriage to Simon, who she first began dating in 2021. Following news of their split, revealed in court papers obtained by People on Thursday, the star took time to acknowledge the supportive messages and comments she has received from fans.
