What happened in Liverpool yesterday? 4 still hospitalised
Since the incident on Monday in Water Street in the city centre, a 53-year-old man was arrested.
Four children were among around 50 who were injured – including one child who was seriously hurt.
At a press conference late on Monday evening, Dave Kitchin from North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) said 27 people were taken to hospital and 20 people were treated at the scene, with four children among the injured.

Merseyside Police said the suspect was the driver of the car, white, British and from the Liverpool area, and added that it was not being treated as terrorism.
Footage circulating online appeared to show people in the crowd following the Liverpool Football Club celebrations attempting to get close to the driver of the car, with one managing to open the driver's car door.
Videos then appeared to show the driver close the car door before suddenly speeding up and veering into pedestrians on both sides of the crowded street.
The clips posted on social media then showed people from the crowds attempt to chase the driver – with some kicking the vehicle and smashing the back window.
Police officers quickly surrounded the car as witnesses attempted to stop the driver, who was eventually detained by police.
In the latest update, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live this morning (May 27), Mr Rotheram said he was hopeful that those seriously injured 'pull through very, very quickly'.
He told the broadcaster: 'The actual incident in Water Street will live with those people for all the wrong reasons, and that's where we have to really focus our minds.
'There are still four people who are very, very ill in hospital and we are hoping of course that they pull through very, very quickly.'

Teenager jailed in Dubai for family holiday romance appeals to Sheikh for pardon
A British teenager has asked Dubai's ruler for a pardon after he was jailedover a holiday romance. Marcus Fakana, from Tottenham, north London has formally submitted a plea for clemency to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The now 19-year-old was sentenced to one year in prison in UAE last year following a short romantic relationship in which he had sex with a 17-year-old British girl. Both his family and the girl's family were on holiday in the middle eastern country at the time. The relationship between them was consensual but it's illegal to have sex with anyone under 18 in Dubai. Marcus, who has spent several months in Al Awir Prison, hopes the Sheikh will offer a humanitarian pardon, so he can return home before his sentence is due to end, reports NeedToKnow. 'This has been the most traumatic and life-altering experience imaginable for Marcus,' said Radha Stirling, founder of Detained in Dubai, which is supporting the teen's family. 'He is barely an adult himself and never intended to break any law. 'What happened was legal in the UK and consensual. 'But now he is facing permanent damage to his mental health and future prospects because of it.' Conditions at the prison are said to be taking a toll on Marcus, who is thought to have limited contact with his family. The mother of the girl he had a relationship with reported him to Dubai police after she and her family had returned to the UK and she saw pictures of the pair and chats between them. The then 18-year-old and his family were still in Dubai at the time and police arrested him at their hotel. His parents have made repeated appeals to David Lammy MP, and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. They have also asked the British Embassy in Dubai to help secure his release. Ms Stirling said: 'If Marcus could go back in time, he would. 'He has shown remorse and fully respects the laws of the UAE. 'He only hopes the government will show compassion and allow him to return home to rebuild his life. 'He's very young and this is a heartbreaking way to begin adulthood.' The family is urging the British public and authorities to back their plea for clemency. Ms Stirling warned other parents to be aware of the risks young Britons face in countries with very different legal systems. She said: 'Parents need to be aware that teens can be charged in the UAE for behaviour that would not be considered criminal at home. Meet London-based ‘Hamas operative' behind Greta Thunberg's ‘Freedom Flotilla' stunt that was foiled by Israel

Zaher Birawi, who has been photographed with slain Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, was present at the launch of the British-flagged yacht Madleen. He also runs a UK-registered charity called Education Aid for Palestinians, which has raised more than £3 million since 2017. Just a week ago, Mr Birawi was present at the launch of Madleen and live-streamed the event from a dock in Sicily. He called himself the 'founding member' of the Freedom Flotilla International Coalition - which arranged Madleen's voyage to Gaza. The 'selfie yacht' has now been seized by Israel, and all the people onboard have been detained. Labour MP Christian Wakeford named Mr Birawi in the Commons using special parliamentary protections that protect him from being sued. Mr Birawi said Mr Wakeford's claim was 'baseless' and that he was looking at 'all available legal recourse' in response to the MP's comments. According to Israel's strategic affairs ministry, Mr Birawi moved to the UK in the 1990s, has 'close ties to Hamas' and worked for several pro-Palestinian NGOs - including one tied to Hamas. In 2023, The Sun on Sunday revealed Mr Birawi lived in a £500,000 semi-detached house in leafy north London. MP for Bury South Mr Wakeford raised concerns over a 'serious national security risk' from 'Hamas operatives'. Israel issues warning to Greta's 'Freedom Flotilla' as eco-pest SAILS to Gaza He told the Commons: '[Mr Birawi] was designated by Israel in 2013 as a senior Hamas operative in Europe. 'He is listed as a trustee of a UK-registered charity Education Aid for Palestinians, and a publicly available video shows him hosting a 2019 event in London titled 'Understanding Hamas'. 'Two weeks ago, Hamas launched the deadly terrorist attack the world has seen since 9/11. 'This House rightly voted to proscribe Hamas in its entirety in November 2021. It is therefore a serious national security risk for Hamas operatives to be living here in London." There is no suggestion that Mr Birawi was involved in the deadly October 7 terror attacks. He said: 'I have been made aware of the fact that the Member of Parliament for Bury South, Christian Wakefield, made a reference to my name in the proceedings of the House of Commons on October 26. 'Regrettably, this mention appears to have been motivated by an intent to besmirch my character and, potentially, to rationalise any harm that may befall me or my family. 'In a time when we should all exercise vigilance and contemplate the potential consequences of our words, particularly their capacity to incite violence and animosity, Mr Wakefield chose a contrary course of action.
