The former first lady appeared on
's "Good Hang" podcast on Tuesday and shared that one repeated bedtime "battle" she had with her husband Barack, was over the thermostat. The pair discussed being "at that age", where their sleeping temperature is vitally important.
"Sometimes I get in the bed, and I'm freezing. Other times, it's like, 'Oh my God, take my skin off,'" said the 61-year-old.
'It's a battle with a partner because he's always cold, and I'm like, 'Do not touch [the thermostat].'
Sometimes I wake up hot, and I'll wake him up [to ask], 'Did you touch the thermostat? You touched it, didn't you?' she admitted.
She shared how Barack is now scared of the thermostat and replies, "I didn't, I swear".
Just like any other married couple who fights over the temperatures of the thermostat, one of the two has to compromise, which in this case is Barack. Michelle shared how she likes "cool sheets" and a 68-degree bedroom and thus she just tell Barack to "put on some socks" when "he's freezing" at night.

The conversation about the battle sparked when Michelle Obama shared her "embarrassing" love for bedtime which makes her "giddy." She shared how she likes to finish dinner by 6:30, have some "catch-up conversations" and "together time" with Barack and then begin "thinking about bed" around 8 pm or "as soon as [she] can."
"My head hits the pillow, and I'm out. I don't need an aid. I just need to put my head on the pillow," she added.

Ahead in the episode, Michele revealed a deal she made with Barack during their wedding in October 1992. "I can tease [him], but [he] cannot tease me," she revealed. She revealed how she and her daughters, Malia and Sasha, "mercilessly go after" Barack, as teasing is their love language.
'When all of us are together, he doesn't stand a chance. … I tell him, 'When I tease you, it's like a love tap,'' she added.
While speculations about the couple getting divorced have been moving around for some time, Michele has been clapping back at the rumours with her interview, where she has been more open about the relationship she shares with her husband and the family in general.

'I denounce my celebrity-ness': Shaquille O'Neal bluntly destroys fame culture with unfiltered take on ego, money, and status
Image via David L. Nemec /Getty Images Shaquille O'Neal has never fit into a box, and he's making sure no one tries to put him in one now. The four-time NBA champion and longtime Inside the NBA mainstay has made it clear he wants nothing to do with the 'celebrity' tag, even as his post-playing career has made him one of the most recognizable figures in sports media. As the beloved TNT show closes a defining chapter, O'Neal is now gearing up for a new era—one he says won't pull any punches. Shaquille O'Neal turns down the celebrity label to stay true to his roots Shaquille O'Neal has built an empire through dominance, charisma, and candor but don't call him a celebrity. In a statement originally made during a 2021 interview with the New York Post, O'Neal didn't mince words when rejecting the label that's often attached to athletes of his stature. 'These celebrities are going freaking crazy and I don't want to be one. I denounce my celebrity-ness today. I'm done with it,' he declared. Shaq explained his position further, calling out what he sees as detachment and ego among those in the public eye. 'I don't want to be in that category. Celebrities are crazy, they really are. Don't call me that anymore,' he said. 'These people are out of their freaking mind with how they treat people, what they do, what they say. That's never been me.' For the Hall of Famer, humility has always been the foundation. 'I came from nothing. Just because I made it doesn't mean I'm bigger than you or smarter than you… just because I have more money doesn't mean I'm better than you. I've never been that way and I never will be.' As Inside the NBA ends, Shaquille O'Neal sets his sights on the next takeover As TNT's era with the NBA comes to a close, so does a legendary run for Inside the NBA, a show as beloved for its basketball analysis as its chemistry and chaos. Shaq, who was part of the on-air team with Ernie Johnson , Kenny Smith , and Charles Barkley , made it clear that wherever they go next, they're coming in with force. 'To that new network we're coming to—we ain't coming to F*** around,' Shaq declared on air. 'We're kicking a**, we're taking names, and we're taking over.' While ESPN prepares to welcome the iconic crew, O'Neal's words are a warning and a promise. 'I love you guys and I appreciate you guys, but hey we're coming to take over that next network, too.' Longtime host Ernie Johnson shared heartfelt reflections on the team's journey: 'If I had written the script, the NBA and TNT would have been together forever… Gratitude is the operative word for me.' Kelce, currently at a charity event, publicly supported Swift's achievement. A "TNT" keepsake and master recordings mark a powerful new chapter Taylor Swift marked a significant career win: purchasing her master recordings. Out with Selena Gomez, she sported a "TNT" gold and diamond friendship bracelet, a special gift from Travis Kelce, who wears an identical one. On May 31st, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez enjoyed a girls' night out at Monkey Bar in NYC. Swift wore a sequined black Gucci mini skirt and black tank, with chunky silver platform sandals. Gomez appeared in a tan halter, khaki pants, and metallic pumps, as photos posted by TMZ showed. Swift's recent New York appearance followed her major announcement: she now owned the master recordings for her initial six albums—Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, and Reputation. This crucial move grants her absolute authority over her artistic output after a prolonged disagreement. She conveyed her emotions online, stating, "All of the music I've ever made… now belongs… to me. And all my music videos. And all the concert films. The album art and photography. The unreleased songs. The memories. The magic. The madness. Every single era. My entire life's work.' Travis Kelce, at the 2025 Big Slick Weekend charity event in Kansas City, publicly championed Swift's career milestone. He demonstrated his approval by "liking" her Instagram update. His teammate, Patrick Mahomes, and wife Brittany Mahomes, also a friend, helped spread the news, with Brittany remarking, "Just so amazing.' Even though apart for the weekend, Swift and Kelce were often seen together during the NFL off-season, including a romantic Florida trip approved by Donna Kelce. Donna also showed her fondness for Swift by wearing a charm bracelet with the Tortured Poets Department album logo. The romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce began in July 2023 during her Kansas City Eras Tour stop. Kelce, a devoted fan, sought to give her a friendship bracelet, but her rigorous pre-show routine prevented it. "I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Travis revealed. "So, I was a little butt-hurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her. ' Their bond went "Instagram Official" in June 2024 with a selfie including royalty. By September, Swift attended a Chiefs game, then they hit a wedding and the U.S. Open. October saw a double date, concluding 2024 with matching New York City outings. Also Read: Has Taylor Swift officially replaced Blake Lively with Dakota Johnson? Inside the dinner that's fueling Hollywood feud rumors After publicly detailing his attempt, Travis decided to "shoot his shot." He invited Swift to a Chiefs game, saying, "I threw it out there, I threw the ball in her court." He added, "So, we'll see what happens in the near future." This action began their romance.

'I just played, that was my training': LeBron James reveals shocking truth about his early basketball days and how streetball forged his NBA legacy
Image via Getty Images You don't need to follow basketball to know the name LeBron James . He's more than just a four-time champion or an MVP. He's a symbol of longevity, excellence, and defying limits. As he gears up for his 23rd NBA season, a record no player has ever touched, James recently pulled back the curtain on how it all began. And surprisingly, it didn't involve elite training programs or high-priced coaches. His path started with something much simpler: the court, his friends, and the drive to play. LeBron James built his game with no trainer and pure hustle on his rise to NBA greatness Appearing on the 'Mind the Game' podcast, LeBron James gave fans a glimpse into his unfiltered journey to basketball greatness. What he shared went against nearly every blueprint you hear about future NBA stars. 'I didn't have a basketball trainer until maybe my second, third, or even my fourth year in the league,' he revealed. The Luka Dončić Interview (Part 1) | LeBron James & Steve Nash | MIND THE GAME Instead of structured practices or professional coaching, James sharpened his skills the old-fashioned way by being on the court constantly. 'I just played. That was my training,' he explained. Those countless hours of pickup ball in Akron, Ohio, helped him build not only his feel for the game but the creativity and instinct that would later become his signature style. 'No one ever told me how to play,' he added, a line that perfectly sums up his self-made style. Of course, he's had help in recent years to keep his body sharp and his mind focused, surrounding himself with the right experts. But the game itself was his to figure out. LeBron James didn't follow a blueprint to become the best. He made his own. Long before the NBA, there was just a kid, a ball, and a dream. And sometimes, that's all it takes.
