Vivo X200 FE is coming to India and here is everything we know about it
Vivo appears to be preparing for the launch of a new smartphone in India, and it's not quite what was expected. Earlier leaks had hinted at the arrival of the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, a compact model from the brand's flagship series. However, according to a recent report, that plan has changed. Instead, Vivo is now said to be working on launching a different model — the Vivo X200 FE — for the Indian market. As per Smartprix, Vivo has changed course following earlier leaks, and has now finalised the Vivo X200 FE for India. The device is said to carry similar design elements to the X200 Pro Mini but with a slightly tweaked set of specifications. It is expected to arrive in India by late June or early July 2025, although the exact launch date is still being discussed internally.advertisementThe Vivo X200 FE will reportedly feature a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2640 x 1216 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is said to have flat edges with 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, the Vivo X200 FE is expected to be powered by MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9400e processor. While this chip has not yet been officially announced, it is believed to be a slightly lower-clocked or binned version of the Dimensity 9300+. This should still ensure strong performance across everyday tasks, gaming, and multitasking, especially when paired with Vivo's software optimisations. In terms of photography, the Vivo X200 FE is said to house two 50-megapixel cameras on the rear — a primary sensor and a telephoto lens — along with a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. This setup mirrors the camera system of the Vivo X200 Pro Mini but skips the ultra-wide sensor. advertisement
Charging speeds are also expected to be impressive. The Vivo X200 FE may support 90W wired fast charging, although battery capacity details are yet to surface. Given Vivo's recent focus on battery tech, it wouldn't be surprising to see the inclusion of silicone-carbon technology, which helps extend battery life and improve thermal efficiency. While Vivo has not shared pricing details of the X200 FE just yet, the X200 Pro Mini comes at a starting price of CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs 55,000). So, can we expect to see the Vivo X200 FE launch in the ballpark of Rs 50,000? Well, more information, including full specs and confirmed pricing, should become available in the coming weeks.

Indore joins India's metro map: Madhya Pradesh gets its first urban rail line; key details here
In a major infrastructure milestone for Madhya Pradesh, Indore has officially joined India's growing metro network with the launch of the state's first metro rail service. The inauguration took place on May 31, 2025, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagging off the metro virtually from Bhopal during an event marking the 300th birth anniversary of Ahilya Bai Holkar, a revered figure in the region's history. The newly launched metro in Indore begins with a 6.3-km "Super Priority Corridor," connecting Gandhi Nagar Station to Super Corridor-3. This stretch includes five operational stations: Gandhi Nagar, Super Corridor-6, Super Corridor-5, Super Corridor-4, and Super Corridor-3. To encourage citizens to explore the new transit system, the metro is offering free rides for the first seven days. After the promotional week, ticket prices will range from INR 20 to INR 30, depending on the distance traveled. At the moment, the metro has three coach trains that can carry up to 980 passengers each. But when demand increases, the infrastructure is built to handle future six-coach trains, enabling a higher passenger volume. To make commuting easier, the trains are outfitted with contemporary features including real-time tracking, AI-based control systems, and QR code-based ticketing.
