T'ganu MMEA Detains Two Foreign Fishing Boats
KUALA TERENGGANU, May 14 (Bernama) -- The Terengganu Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) detained two Vietnamese fishing boats, with 20 crew members, who intruded into the state's waters on Sunday.
Its director, Maritime Captain Hamiludin Che Awang said that both vessels were detained in Op Op Naga at 156 nautical miles off the Kuala Terengganu estuary.
He said his team took three hours to intercept both boats, which tried to escape after noticing the presence of the agency's vessel KM Redang.

Motorcyclist killed after crashing into dog in Kampar
IPOH: A factory worker died after the motorcycle he was riding hit a dog and skidded off the road at Jalan Malim Nawar-Kota Bharu, Kampar, early on Sunday (June 8) morning. Kampar district police chief Supt Mohamad Nazri Daud said in the incident at 7.35am, the victim, Mohd Safaril Mohamed Anuar, 42, was seriously injured and died at the scene. "Investigations found that the victim was on his way from home to work at Hume Cement in Kota Bharu. "Upon reaching the location, the victim hit a dog that was crossing the road and skidded off the road," he said in a statement on Sunday.
