Clippers React to NBA's James Harden Announcement
Led by veteran shooting guard James Harden, the Los Angeles Clippers closed out their 2024-25 regular-season campaign with eight consecutive victories.
The Clippers finished the year with a 50-32 record, securing the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference and avoiding the NBA play-in tournament.

Harden, 35, averaged 29.5 points, 10.5 assists and 7.5 rebounds over the Clippers' final four games. He closed out his 16th regular season with a triple-double against the Sacramento Kings and a 39-point performance against the Golden State Warriors.
Behind this stellar play, Harden was announced as the NBA's Western Conference Player of the Week.
The Clippers recognized this accomplishment with a post on social media.
"James Harden is your Western Conference Player of the Week," the team wrote on X.
This accomplishment marks the second consecutive Clipper to win Western Conference Player of the Week. Last week, the honor went to Harden's teammate Kawhi Leonard.

"Saved the best for last. Back-to-back Western Conference Player of the Week awards for 1 and 2," the team wrote in a separate post.
"I think, sooner or later, people will start to understand and recognize how hard I actually did work, and what I was able to accomplish throughout my career," Harden said in a recent interview with NBA insider Chris Haynes. "So, for now, just let them keep talking, and hopefully they can change the narrative sooner or later."

Should the Boston Celtics take point guard Nolan Traore in the 2025 NBA draft?
Should the Boston Celtics take point guard Nolan Traore in the 2025 NBA draft? The French floor general flashes high upside, but at present is not a great defender or shooter, even if his passing is at a very high level for a prospect who is playing in a high-level league at just 19 years old. Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing in at 175 lbs., Traore is a little slight for the 1 even if he has enough height for the position at the NBA level, and logged 7.4 assists per game with LNB Pro A's Saint Quentin last season. Is he the sort of prospect it would be worth it for the Celtics to gamble on if he falls to Boston's range at Nos. 28 or 32? The hosts of the CLNS Media "How Bout Them Celtics!" podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, took some time on a recent episode of their show to talk it over. Check it out below! The Boston Celtics will make some trades that will upset their fans this NBA offseason
The Boston Celtics will make some trades that will upset their fans this NBA offseason. Or at least that is the point of view that former Celtics beat writer and current NBA analyst for Heavy Dot Com Steve Bulpett. Speaking on a recent episode of the the CLNS Media "Celtics Beat" podcast, hosts Adam Kaufman and Evan Valenti took some time to talk about the possibilities of Boston making some drastic trades this summer with Bulpett. The collective bargaining agreement (CBA)'s second apron penalties are having their desires effects on the Celtics, and the general consensus is that veteran players on costly contracts like Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis could be on the move to get ahead of a potentially historic tax bill (and the penalties it will bring with it).
