Fond du Lac County deputies find half-pound of meth hidden in vehicle during traffic stop
(WFRV) – A man who was out on parole and had a warrant out for his arrest was taken into custody recently after Fond du Lac County deputies found a half-pound of meth hidden in his vehicle.
A Facebook post from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office states that a deputy recently pulled over a vehicle on I-41 for multiple traffic and equipment violations.

During the traffic stop, K9 Iro conducted a sniff of the vehicle, subsequently giving a positive alert.
After searching the vehicle, deputies reportedly found a half-pound of methamphetamine hidden in a void in the running board.
The driver, who deputies say was on parole for two separate convictions of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, along with other criminal convictions, also had a warrant out for his arrest through probation and parole.

He was arrested and taken to the Fond du Lac County Jail. The release stated that 'an ongoing investigation into the source of the drugs remains active.'

Sunday forecast: Clouds build, possibility of pop-up storms
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – After a beautiful Saturday around Acadiana, dry conditions continue into the nighttime hours with just a few clouds in the sky. Temperatures will gradually fall into the upper 60s overnight and it should feel a bit better to start Sunday morning. Sunday will see plentiful sunshine to start the day. Clouds build by lunchtime and we will watch for a few pop-up storms to develop around the area in the afternoon. A storm system will slide just to the west of the area potentially with severe weather. We should not see any impacts from this, however, we will keep a close watch in case it does move a bit further east. Highs Sunday reach the upper 80s. Next week we see a pretty typical June summertime weather pattern. Each day will have the opportunity for a few cooling storms to develop during the afternoon hours. Otherwise, temperatures will reach the lower 90s with high humidity. Sunday also begins hurricane season for the Atlantic Basin.
