China to trial visa-free policy for Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain
Beijing: China will trial a policy granting ordinary passport holders from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain visa-free entry into China up to 30 days from June 9, 2025, to June 8, 2026, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Wednesday.

Minister of Interior holds meeting with governors
Muscat: Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, on Sunday chaired the Interior Ministry's first meeting of the year (2025) with governors. Woman arrested in Oman for human trafficking
Muscat:The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced the arrest of a woman accused of human trafficking along with eight others for committing immoral acts. "Police Command in the Governorate of Muscat arrested a Chinese woman accused of human trafficking, along with eight Thai women for committing immoral acts and violating public ethics. Legal procedures are being completed," a statement from the ROP said. In another incident, Coast Guard Police Command, in cooperation with the Directorate General for Combatting Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, apprehended a Pakistani national in the Wilayat of Quriyat with more than ninety kilograms of crystal meth, marijuana, hashish, and large quantities of psychotropic pills with the intention of trading it.
