We asked for your views on Scotland women's Six Nations win over Wales, plus a URC victory for Glasgow against Munster and Edinburgh's defeat at Benetton. Here's what some of you said:EdinburghGraham: A sloppy display from Edinburgh. Ewan Ashman a nightmare at the lineout. Limited pack aggression and few lines breaks from the backs. Couldn't score from two feet said it all. Warriors second team is streets ahead of this lot.Joe: I thought now that the Six Nations was over, we'd seen the end of the ridiculous refereeing against Scotland. Seems not though as the Edinburgh game had two TMO checks against Edinburgh but none for tackles made by Benetton and several forward passes that were ignored. Enough is enough. Time for SRU to call it out and hold officials to account.Adam: Very disappointed with Edinburgh's display. Yet again we are playing a safe and unimaginative game. Set-piece, high kick, repeat. The lineouts were truly terrible. Our hookers need to learn to throw in or step aside. We did not deserve to win. Let's find another coach for Edinburgh please.Rab: Deep in my heart I knew they would choke and loose. Typical of Edinburgh!Glasgow's winGeoff: Great win but not the best performance. The weakness at 10 must highlight the folly of losing Tom Jordan!Keith: Good result against the odds.Mark: Wow what a match, Glasgow had to dig deep, but it always feels nice to beat Munster, especially as I live in Ireland. It's a result that keeps us above the wacky races of the top eight in the URC. Well done boys.Jim: Glasgow showed their winning mentality to get over the line in the end. It's difficult to have any sort of continuity with so many players missing. Glasgow should thank Gregor Townsend for not selecting Johnny Mathews or Nathan McBeth. The later really made a difference in the scrum as well as his try.Scotland women's winStu: The bunker review system is in desperate need of clarifications. Two yellow cards is a full red card and cannot be replaced according to the laws but apparently if it's referred to the bunker for foul play, it becomes a 20-minute red? No wonder fans and players were confused when Wales were allowed to go back up to 15 players. Will: Hopefully the Women's XV can be the first professional Scottish team to win in Paris. Scotland won during Covid with no pressure from fans in the cauldron of the Stade de France. Still waiting in my opinion.

Is McGregor missing midfield piece as Miller offers food for thought?

If all eyes weren't already on Scotland's first World Cup qualifier against Denmark on 5 September, they certainly are Steve Clarke would have been running scenarios over in his head after Friday's defeat by Iceland, Monday night's win over in Liechtenstein presented no such besides his team and formation. Big decisions, in the Scotland head coach stick with the back four he played in Vaduz or shift to his trusty back three/five?In midfield, who does he hand starts to after 18-year-old Lennon Miller impressed on his full debut? And after hat-trick hero Che Adams and George Hirst linked up for the latter's first international goal, will Clarke commit to two up top?Plenty positions to ponder over the holidays for Clarke. And it's crucial he gets them right in Copenhagen. 'Tierney-Robertson partnership our strength' When possible, Clarke always opts for Kieran Tierney and Andy Robertson down the left. They're his tried and tested and they've served him been a little discourse around whether that's still what we should be going with, but I don't see why not. I think they're still two of the best left-sided partnerships that we've got, it works really as left-sided centre-back and Robertson at left wing-back offers such pace, which also brings quality going forward and the end product of ball in the box.I think that's our strength, they've done it fantastically in the past couple of years, which is why I think going away from home, in Copenhagen, I see Clarke going with the we have good balance on the left, it's the right that's more up for grabs. There are cases to be made for many, and it's one for the head coach to mull over. 'Callum ticks all the boxes' On his first Scotland start, I think Miller has done himself absolutely millions of favours with his very, very calm - quite chilled actually. That's due to his family, his dad (former Scotland striker Lee Miller) keeping him grounded! His composure and quality is top notch and he expresses himself in the like he's not bothered by being on the big stage. His attitude is, 'I'm playing with my mates here'. That's top I think he will start in Denmark? I don't. But will he be one of the ones that's in Clarke's mind to automatically come on if you're looking for a goal or a forward pass? I'd say are so many possibilities, unbelievable pairing of Billy Gilmour and Scott McTominay is one that's got to try and flourish. You know what you're getting with John McGinn. Clarke likes Kenny McLean because of his experience. Ryan Christie is favoured as a 10, too, so there are plenty of legs in the perfect combination is to get Callum McGregor the one that ticks all the boxes. He can sit, he can go forward. I know he's retired but that's what Scotland are looking for. 'Dykes will be phoning, asking to be in a top two' Though two strikers are not Clarke's usual call, he has gone with the Che Adams-Lyndon Dykes partnership before.I was on punditry duties with the big man while we watched Adams and Hirst strike up a partnership and I reckon he'll be phoning Clarke now saying he can play in the two.I think the head coach likes Dykes' running power. He's a great worker off the ball, but also holds it well and causes problems in the will be flying high while Hirst has just opened his Scotland account. There's, finally, great competition up there now for us. We've not had three goal-scoring strikers for the national team for a long, long Clarke use all three, though? I don't think he he goes defensively, I don't see him playing two strikers.I see him playing that box in the middle of the park and I think it gives us a wee bit better structure going away from home. 'Trip to Copenhagen critical for qualification' Getting it right in Copenhagen is Scotland can get a point away to Denmark and then beat them at home - while beating everybody else - that'll do it. Easier said, mind the first game is the big one. You don't want to go away on matchday one and lose, because it puts the Danes on the front foot early doors with belief. Scotland then start to overthink everything, so the opener will be hugely important for just has to do what he had a fantastic career as a manager, I actually look at him and the style he plays - I try and steal stuff from got a lot of experience throughout the time and that's what he doesn't need to deter from what he usually does too much, it's done him very well so Scotland captain Scott Brown was speaking to BBC Scotland's Amy Canavan

The Capital side has announced the signing of the 16-year-old Australian, who replaces Max James in the reserve berth. Academy rider Mark Parker had been filling the void left by James, who quit the Monarchs in April citing a lack of confidence on the track. Loftus, who hails from the Gold Coast, will make the move to the northern hemisphere and ride in both the Championship and National Development League for the Scottish outfit, replacing the injured Kyran Lyden in the Academy setup. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Loftus is no stranger to some of his new team-mates, none other than compatriots Kye Thomson and Justin Sedgmen as he explained. "I know of Justin Sedgmen and Kye Thomson and I've got to know Kye more personally over the past year or so - we practise at the same track in Ipswich [Australia]," he said. "I've been watching his technique going around the track and getting some tips off him. I've watched every single video put up from Armadale, it looks amazing. I'm excited to join the club and meet all the people and race." Loftus will adorn the Monarchs race suit for the first time next Wednesday at Oxford Cheetahs' Sandy Lane followed by a trip to the Redcar Bears on Friday, June 20. He will make his home debut when the Bears visit West Lothian on Friday, June 27. The teenager has only recently moved onto the 500cc bikes after turning 16 in March following a successful career on the less powerful 250cc engines. "I'm number two in Australia on the 250s," Loftus said. "I rode those until I turned 16 in March when I jumped onto a 500 and since then I've been getting better and better on it. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad "I rode in SGP3 in 2024, and that went well in the semis when I got fifth. In the final I had a little bit of bad luck the way things went but my final placing was 13th." Revised 2025 Monarchs: Victor Palovaara, Kye Thomson, Michael Palm Toft, Paco Castagna, Justin Sedgmen, Jonatan Grahn, Jordy Loftus.
