Lorraine Kelly left squirming as co-star bluntly asks her 'where have you been?' after MORE time off show
Lorraine Kelly was left squirming as a co-star bluntly asked her 'where have you been?' on Monday's episode of the programme after MORE time off from the show.
Right after explaining to viewers what they could expect from today's (9 June 2025) instalment, the 65-year-old introduced her celebrity correspondent for LA Ross King to the show, live from America.
Lorraine said: 'Ross is in Los Angeles for us later Ross. Crickey! It's tough times over there...'
Ross explained that he would be touching upon the current riots in LA, as well as the relationship between Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
Referencing her latest bout of absence, he quipped: 'Apart from all that, what about you, where have you been?!'
Lorraine replied: 'Oh I've been in the far north, I've been so far north I nearly came back on myself.

'I'll tell you all about it. I sadly can't say too much about it now.
'In a few weeks, I might be able to give you more hints.
'I can even show you some photos, it was life changing and amazing.
'I'll phone you later and tell you all about it.'
It comes after earlier this month Lorraine disappeared from our screens again after ditching her show amid huge cuts.
The star took to Instagram on Sunday to share her exciting new project that she will be working on this week - meaning that she wouldn't be presenting her daily self-named programme.
Lorraine said: 'Hi there! I'm in the land of the midnight sun. It's absolutely glorious.
'It's a project that I have wanted to do for years and years and finally it is actually happening.
'I'm heading really, really far north.
'It is going to be amazing and I will tell you all about it when I am back.
'I'm back a week tomorrow (Monday) and I will see you then.
'Wish me luck.'
She captioned the post: 'BIG FILMING ADVENTURES!!!!
'Heading to the very far north - it's going to be amazing - see you in a week's time! #happy #arctic #filming #adventures #exploration #joy.'
Over the past year Lorraine has hit headlines after disappearing from our screens a number of times.
And so much so that TWO X accounts have been made about her when she is missing from the programme.
Christine Lampard, 46, and Ranvir Singh, 47, step in when she cannot present the show.
Last month it was revealed that Loose Women and Lorraine have been AXED for half the year - as ITV announce a big shake up to its daytime schedule.
Just last week she revealed that she's 'not done yet' as she appeared to hit back at rumours her show will be cut for good.
Speaking on the Tom Kerridge on the Proper Tasty podcast: '40 years in TV last year was incredible. I got a BAFTA. "Here's a BAFTA for being alive." I thought, "Hang on a minute, I'm not done yet".'

Poker Face – Season 2 Episode 7 'One Last Job' Recap & Review
Episode 7 The Murder Episode 7 of Poker Face Season 2 begins in a SuperSave store where we are introduced to Kendall, an employee who is good friends with his boss, Bill. Bill has just read Kendall's latest action movie script titled One Last Job. He tells Kendall he really ought to go to LA and give his talent a real shot but Kendall says he isn't ready yet. Unfortunately, Bill has also been ordered to let some personnel go and he fires Kendall, hoping this will give him the push to pursue his dreams. However, Kendall isn't happy about this and, in his anger, even helps a shoplifter named Juice. As a thank you, Juice buys Kendall a few drinks. Kendall mentions the heist story in his script and how it's based on the SuperSave where he works. Juice thinks it's a great idea, not just as a script but for an actual heist. After all, Kendall needs money if he wants to go to Hollywood. Kendall is soon convinced. They make a plan to rob the store in the half hour between the cleaning crew's exit and the arrival of the armoured truck which transports the cash. They use a Polaroid photo to block the security camera in the vault room. Kendall then uses a UV light to see Bill's fingerprints on the vault's keypad (his fingerprints show up thanks to the canola oil on the crisps he likes to eat). While Kendall is trying different combinations, Juice hears a noise and goes to check it out. Inside the vault, Kendall finds a lot more than 200k and bags it all. He even keeps a part of it in his own employee locker. However, Kendall then finds himself face to face with none other than Bill. He's in pyjamas and seems to be sleeping here. He recognises Kendall even in the mask but before Kendall can explain, Juice shoots him dead. He says he'll take care of the body, leaving Kendall shocked. The Investigation We skip to a few days before the heist when Charlie is working for an Indian restaurant. She delivers food to Bill and the two flirt with each other. The night before his birthday (the day of the heist), Bill asks Charlie out for dinner. Jenny, Charlie's co-worker, is a rom-com fan and gives her some tips. On her advice, Charlie approaches Kendall and asks what Bill would like as a gift. He suggests she get something related to Bill's bike. Charlie turns up for the date and gifts Bill a guardian bell for his bike. Bill loves it! He takes her for dinner inside the SuperSave, where he's arranged a romantic dinner set up. He admits he's been living out of his office and the security cameras are on loop. He also shows Charlie a button that can call the cops in five minutes. The conversation moves to Kendall and Bill says he hopes getting fired will push Kendall to go to Hollywood. The two spend the night together and have a lovely time. At the end of the night, he tells Charlie he wants to see her again and she seems optimistic about it. However, when Charlie finally gets a call to deliver food at the SuperSave the next day, she finds the place swarming with cops who are investigating the break-in. A news reporter tells a camera that about $400,000 was stolen. Kendall, meanwhile, tries to get to his employee locker to get the money but he isn't allowed. Charlie looks through the store and eventually finds Bill's body, hidden in plain sight as a mannequin of Santa Claus. The cops believe this was a heist gone wrong but Charlie tries to explain that Bill loved this store and would never rob it. When they tell her about the Polaroid gimmick, taken from Mission: Impossible III, Charlie begins to suspect Kendall. Kendall goes back home only to be confronted by Juice, who watched the news and found out that there was more money in the safe and Kendall cheated him. They fight and Kendall ends up stabbing Juice with one of his collectible swords. That night, Charlie sneaks into the room with the employee lockers and breaks into Kendall's locker. She finds the bag of money and realises everything, only to see Kendall himself pointing a gun at her. He's leading her out of the store when she reveals she's pressed the button that calls the police. They are also interrupted by Juice, sword and all, who attacks both of them with a machine gun. A chase ensues in the store until Juice finally collapses. And just as Kendall is making it to the door, the police arrive and he puts his hands up. The Episode Review If you're a movie fanatic, you will probably love Poker Face Season 2 Episode 7. The episode is chock-full of movie references, not just in the dialogue or Kendall's obsession with heist movies but also through the details in the plot. Such as Charlie's use of TV screens to get the better of Juice, Kendall's final scene with the flying cash, and more. It's all incredibly well executed, in a polished way that ties into the story, and even with the right amount of tongue-in-cheek — Charlie boldly proclaims they aren't in an action movie just before Juice makes his grand machine gun entry. As a result of the focus on movies and references, though, we don't get as much insight into Kendall as a person, the way we generally do with other characters who open the episode. We also don't see much of Charlie's lie detection here. Although it was pretty nice to see her play her part in a rom-com for a little bit, there! On the whole, though, if you aren't that familiar with these easter eggs and references, the episode could feel a tad lacklustre. Ella Rae Wise could be set for an awkward run-in with her ex Dan Edgar as filming for TOWIE's 15th anniversary kicks off in Portugal. The reality star, 24, had been dating her co-star in the lead-up to going on Celebrity Big Brother back in April, before revealing on the show they had split. And now the pair have come face to face after their split as they both jetted out to the Algarve - where they were spotted filming scenes at a pool party for TOWIE's upcoming 15th anniversary special. TOWIE - which is one of ITVX's most streamed titles with 66million streams in the last 12 months - is back with the brand new series airing on ITV2 and ITVX later this year. Ella looked sensational for filming as she stepped out in a cerulean blue ruched bikini top with a matching full length sarong as she was joined by her glam co-stars Elma Pazar and another of Dan's exes, Amber Turner. Meanwhile Amber, who split from Dancing On Ice star Dan in 2023, put on a striking display in an all-white ensemble. Amber's abs were on display in a white cupped bikini top with a gold brooch, as well as brief featuring an additional cut-out style waistband. She paired the bikini with a low-waisted white beach maxi skirt. Another star spotted at filming was Ella's best friend Dani Imbert, who looked incredible in a black and white crochet bikini with matching hot pants. Meanwhile Chloe Meadows was glowing in a red bikini top and crochet high-waisted shorts, and Courtney Green opted for a green floral bikini with a tiny beaded sarong. Cast members on the upcoming series include Amy Childs, Billy Debosq and the twins, Joe Blackman, Junaid, Ella, Freddie Bentley, Amber, Chloe, Courtney, Elma, Harry Derbidge, Jordan Brook, Sophie Kasaei, Roman Hackett, Sammy Root, Dan, Jodie Wells, Diags, Livvy, Becks & Dani. Ella recently hinted that scenes in Portugal could be 'explosive' as she confirmed to MailOnline she would be joining the cast for the upcoming TOWIE 15th anniversary special. 'I'm so excited! I feel like it's going to be explosive. The last couple of series have been pretty tame, so it's time for a big one. And everything's just better in the sun,' she teased. Love Island star Elma showed off her toned torso as she posed in a tiny lacy turquoise strappy bikini, with matching briefs and a sarong Meanwhile Amber, who split from Dancing On Ice star Dan in 2023, put on a striking display in an all-white ensemble Dani looked incredible for filming as she wore a black and white crochet bikini with matching hot pants Livvy also opted for a daring ensemble as she arrived in a tiny black and pink bikini with a pair of huge black platform heels Last month, Ella opened up about her split from her TOWIE ex-boyfriend Dan in a rare interview. Speaking exclusively to MailOnline about the breakup, she shared: 'I'd known about going on the show for a while and honestly thought I was going in with a happy relationship. 'But things happened behind closed doors that I couldn't get over. For once, I put myself first.' Despite their relationship coming to an end, Ella insists things ended amicably: 'Nothing bad happened, there was no cheating or anything, and we still speak. 'In fact, we messaged the other day. I hope we stay friends.' Viewers saw Ella break down in tears inside the famous Celebrity Big Brother house as she opened up about the breakup just days into filming. Reflecting on how vulnerable she felt, Ella added: 'It took a lot of courage for me to be open up and vulnerable about my relationship on the show. 'I was very emotional but honest about how I felt at the time. Lovebirds Junaid and Joe Blackman packed on the PDA as they smooched on a sun lounger while filming 'I also didn't know what was happening outside the show and what he was saying, so it took a lot for me to be so open on TV, where everyone will have an opinion.' The reality icon, who left the show in a triple eviction alongside Patsy Palmer and Angellica Bell, also revealed she was surprised by the lack of support from her fellow TOWIE castmates after her exit. She said: 'I only got messages from Freddie (Bentley), Saffron (Lempriere), and Dani (Imbert), like those are my three best friends. But no one else, which surprised me, I'm not going to lie. 'It was a bit sad because I would've messaged them if they were on a show, but I didn't hear anything. 'But then again, I don't know what they were going through at the time, so I don't hold it against them. I just know I would've messaged.'
