2025 Orange Crush Festival receives ‘conditional approval' for permit application
TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WSAV) — The organizers for the 2025 Orange Crush Festival have been issued a letter of conditional approval by the City of Tybee Island for their permit application.
The city announced on Facebook that the approval is 'contingent upon the organizers meeting key requirements.'
Those requirements include a comprehensive public safety plan, an effective waste management plan and an adequate emergency services coordination.
Organizers have until March 19 to provide evidence and assurance that these requirements will be met. That is exactly one month before the proposed event date.
If the evidence is not provided by then, the festival organizers may face denial of their permit.
