Kinley Smith wins Landers Dodge Player of the Year Scholarship
BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Fouke High School basketball star Kinley Smith was named the Landers Dodge Player of the Year Tuesday night at Ralph & Kacoos restaurant in Bossier City. The award comes with a $2,500 scholarship from Landers Dodge.
The 6'2 All-State Power Forward led the Lady Panthers to a 30-7 record and a berth in the Arkansas Activities Association 3A state quarterfinals.
She was named the All-State Tournament team offensive MVP and averaged more than 16 points and 11 rebounds for the 2024-2025 season.
Smith is involved in National Honor Society and plans to pursue a career in Athletic Training or Physical Therapy.

Thomson said slugger Bryce Harper was starting to feel better as he recovers from right wrist inflammation that last Friday landed him on the 10-day injured list. The two-time National League MVP and eight-time All-Star is hitting .258 with nine home runs, 34 RBIs and eight stolen bases in 57 games. He missed five games, from May 26 to June 2, with a bruised right elbow after being hit by a pitch from Atlanta's Spencer Strider.
