Paige Spiranac Says Movie Star Is 'Slowest' Golfer She's Played With

Paige Spiranac has played hit the course with a variety of famous people inside and outside of the golf world.
Out of all of those partners, one movie star in particular stood out to the 32-year-old Division I golfer-turned social media star for his slow pace of play. Spiranac called him out during an appearance on the 'Vanity Index' podcast Tuesday.

Asked by one of the hosts who was the most famous person she ever played with, Spiranac recalled being partnered with Nick Jonas during a celebrity Ryder Cup event at the Genesis Invitational. The two competed against Chris Pratt, who apparently took his sweet time.
'He was very slow,' Spiranac said of Pratt. 'Might be the slowest golfer I've ever played with. Super nice guy, unbelievably slow.'
"We were like, four holes behind on a nine-hole little thing and they were like, 'You need to speed it up,'" Spiranac explained. "And he had all these people around him and he'd tell these amazing stories, and we were like, 'Hit the golf ball.'"
In a comment on the "Vanity Index" Instagram post, Spiranac said it took the group "over 3 hours and 30 min to play 9 holes" because of Pratt.

Pratt, 45, is best known for his roles in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World franchises, is a major golf enthusiast. A quick internet search shows he has played with stars like Bryson DeChambeau and Sir Nick Faldo, and he also played a round with friends such as Rob Lowe before his 2019 wedding to Katherine Schwarzenegger.
Last June, Pratt was invited to play in the Workday Golden Cub Memorial Pro-Am at Muirfield alongside Peyton Manning and PGA Tour standouts Rory McIlroy and Jason Day.
Clearly, Pratt has some game on the course. It just takes him a while to show it off apparently.

Apple Releases a "Haptic" Feel Trailer For Brad Pitt's F1 Racing Movie — GeekTyrant

Apple has released a fun new trailer for director Joseph Kosinski's F1 movie that you can only watch on your phone. This trailer features "haptic" vibration feedback when you watch it. This looks like a great movie and I'm excited about watching it, especially with Kosinski directing as he is such a talented technical director who knows how to take audeinces on a wild thrill ride! In the film, 'Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), a Formula One driver who raced in the 1990s, has a horrible crash, forcing him to retire from Formula One and start racing in other disciplines. A Formula One team owner and friend contacts Hayes and asks him to come out of retirement to mentor rookie prodigy Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) on the Apex Grand Prix team.' The movie also stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Javier Bardem, Sarah Niles, Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, and lots of F1 drivers and team members as themselves. This special "haptic" trailer can only be watched on Apple phones using the Apple TV app. When you play it, the rumble of the Formula One cars can be felt in your hands. It's a fun promo gimmick. Dakota Johnson Recently Worked With Her First Intimacy Coordinator: 'It's Not Sexy'

Despite her decade-long tenure as a leading lady, Dakota Johnson has had to do a lot of the heavy onscreen lifting without any help. The Materialists star joked she's 'always psyched up' for sex scenes as she recently opened up about working with an intimacy coordinator the first time in her career on a movie she recently filmed. 'It was so cool because I'm so used to—you know, it's a sex scene. It's not sexy. It doesn't feel good. In addition to some of the more absurd aspects of filming a sex scene, like 'slamming myself into a headboard,' Johnson detailed for host Amy Poehler what goes into preparing to film an intimate sequence. 'First, I think it depends on, who is the character, and who is the character supposed to be to the audience,' she explained. 'Is she a super idolized hot girl? Is she a housewife? Is she lonely? Is she scared? Is she conservative?' Johnson continued, 'So, that's obviously character work, but then certain prep would go into it. I want to feel good in my body if I'm showing my body. My mom raised me to be really, really proud of my body and love my body. So, I've always felt so grateful for that, especially in my work because I can use it and it feels real.' Since her breakout role in 2015's Fifty Shades of Grey adaptation, Johnson has come to appreciate the importance of a good sex scene as the romantic lead of films like How to Be Single (2016), Cha Cha Real Smooth (2022), Am I OK? (2022), Persuasion (2022) and Splitsville, which debuted last month at Cannes. 'So, I guess in my work, it's something that I feel brave with and that I feel, when it's used the right way in a story, it's important,' said Johnson, whose latest film Materialists is now in theaters.
