Grant Ellis' search for love ends tonight with the Season 29 finale of The Bachelor. Last week during Fantasy Suites, Grant grew to understand Juliana on a deeper level, and confessed that he is falling in love with her. Then, he went on to tell Litia he loves her, too, before bidding farewell to Zoe at the final rose ceremony of the season. Based on the trailer for the season finale, it seems he'll be struggling to choose between his final two women right up until it's time to propose... and that time has finally come.

During last week's fantasy suites episode, Grant spent some private time in the Dominican Republic with his remaining contestants: Litia, Juliana and Zoe. While in Punta Cana, all three women were visited by past contestants of The Bachelor to talk through their feelings and receive guidance. Grant rode through the mud with Juliana, did some awkward yoga with Zoe and flew on a zipline with Litia. In the end, Grant chose to say goodbye to Zoe, leaving Juliana and Litia as his final two contenders for that final rose ring.

Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant, a wildlife ecologist and co-host of NBC's Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Protecting the Wild series, told Newsweek: "While many people assume food is the only thing that attracts bears, nonfood items like pools can also spark their curiosity. "Research shows that due to climate change and the natural behavior of bears, these animals will look for any opportunity to cool down, and pools are no exception." The woman who posted the video acknowledged in the comments that there are potential risks. Her response was to @jakefromstatefarm2154 who wrote: "Isn't this actually bad for the bear … conditioning it to come this close to people … feel like this could get the bear in trouble and teach the next generation a bad habit." The original poster replied: "You definitely have a point. It's always a possibility but I'm praying that all goes well. My street is private with only 4 houses and all the neighbors are aware of the bear presence and we just tried to be cautious about it." Research supports the concerns raised by wildlife experts and viewers on TikTok. A November 2022 study published in PLOS One noted: "Coexistence with carnivores in the expanding urban-wildlife interface requires human mitigation to reduce wildlife visitation rates and mortality risks associated with human-dominated areas." The study observed that "Black bears (Ursus americanus) often occupy urban-wildland interfaces in North America and have been found to change their natural behaviors as a result of human disturbance (including human presence and development) … in the urban-wildland interface, omnivorous bears may select for anthropogenic over wild food sources, preying on livestock and consuming garbage, compost, bird feed, and fruit." Wynn-Grant said there are long-term dangers of habituating bears to human spaces. "Bears are very smart and have excellent memories. Instead of searching for new places to find relief or food, they often return to familiar locations where they've previously found what they need. This is why it's so important not to habituate bears to human-provided resources," she said. "While it might seem exciting to see a familiar animal pass through your neighborhood, it's not safe for the animal or the people living nearby." The PLOS One study also highlighted seasonal factors influencing bear behavior: "The high caloric value and availability of anthropogenic food is especially attractive in the summer and autumn when bears need to store energy for hibernation, and can result in seasonal increases in human-bear conflicts." 'Dangerous Encounters' Wynn-Grant added that the consequences of regular human interaction can be severe. She said: "When bears spend too much time in human spaces, it makes them more likely to lose their natural fear of people and increases the risk of dangerous encounters. Even if suburban America doesn't feel like bear country, it's important to stay bear-aware and remove anything that might attract a bear's interest." Commenters on TikTok were divided. Some echoed Wynn-Grant's concerns, including a user named Tree68 who wrote: "Please be careful. Your heart is the right place, but these are wild animals." Others were more enthusiastic, with user2946459897670 commenting: "This is so unbelievably cool!!" User @ posted: "It's such a privilege when wild animals find sanctuary on your property. This is just amazing!" Wynn-Grant urged caution for anyone encountering bears in their neighborhood, noting "wild animals are just that—wild." "Being 'bearwise' means remembering that the outdoors is their home, and we need to be mindful guests. What ‘insecure' Barbara Walters was really like off-camera — and how she convinced Oprah Winfrey not to have kids
Barbara Walters was the first million-dollar woman on TV. But behind the scenes, the legendary interviewer and 'The View' founder was a difficult and calculating star who did not have 'the strongest moral compass,' according to her book editor Peter Ethers. 'She was obsessed with three things: She was obsessed with money, fame and power,' he reveals in a new documentary 'Tell Me Everything,' streaming June 23 on Hulu. 15 Barbara Walters worked tirelessly to become the first million-dollar woman on TV. Bettmann Archive 'A lot of the relationships she developed were career moves, and she was a pretty transactional person,' Ethers added of Walters, who passed away in 2022 at age 92. This included striking up a relationship with Donald Trump's mentor, the notorious lawyer Roy Cohn, who helped get her father's tax evasion charges dropped. Even though Cohn was gay, the pair considered getting married. 'Roy Cohn was famous, so he was worthwhile to Barbara,' Post columnist Cindy Adams, one of Walters' closest friends, says in the documentary. 'Barbara was famous so it was worthwhile for Roy. She had nerves of steel — she could not have done what she did otherwise. 'Barbara felt that Diana was given advantages that she wasn't,' McFadden told The Post. 15 Walters scooped an interview with Monica Lewinsky from Oprah Winfrey, in 1999. ABC '[Sawyer] was more beautiful than [Walters] was, she was married to this fabulous man [director Mike Nichols]. [Walters] was always chasing after Diane … it was hard. 'I have never known any two women who worked any harder than those two.' McFadden said much of the angst came from Roone Arledge, who ran the news division by encouraging 'rough competition,' though the two women later became friendly. 'She was undermined and maligned by her male colleagues relentlessly,' David Sloan, Walters' longtime producer at ABC, told The Post. 15 Walters infamously quizzed a young Taylor Swift about her love life in 2014. ABC News But it instilled a 'fearlessness' that 'benefited her in the booking game,' Sloan added. 'When one of her competitors landed something that she wanted, she could be very determined — for example, calling [the interview subject] sometimes while that interview was actually being taped. 'Barbara's ambition to get the world's biggest, most famous names — for example, the Queen of England, the Pope, Jacqueline Kennedy — never came to pass, nor did they for anyone else. But her fierceness in the booking game got her the gets perhaps more than any competitor.' 'It's important that we don't denigrate her competitive side and determination,' McFadden noted. 'She never stopped. She picked up the phone and she wasn't waiting to be presented with her next interview.' 15 The interviewer had a rocky relationship with ABC News co-host Harry Reasoner that led to her leaving for '20/20.' 'She was not a perfect person, but I had a tremendous amount of admiration for her,' McFadden said. As for her daughter, McFadden told The Post, 'They both did their best. Jackie does not appear in the film, and Imagine Entertainment exec Sara Bernstein told The Post, 'We know she is very private, but she didn't try to stop the film.' In the end, though, there is the axiom 'work doesn't love you back.' 'I think she felt that her greatest accomplishment — her peerless career — led to her greatest regret, because it often required her to sacrifice any semblance of a personal life. Or even a normal life outside of the glare and the fame,' Sloan said. 'In her apartment, she had a needlepoint pillow that was embroidered with this saying: 'Once upon a time, when there was time.' That was revealing, I thought,' he added. 'Barbara pretty much only had time for this storied career. Choosing one over the other was a sadness at the end of her life. She knew that.'
