Poco F7 India Launch: What We Know
Poco is yet to reveal the details of the new phone but most reports say the new F7 model will be the rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro that was introduced in China earlier.
Poco F7 is also confirmed to be using the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset that will also be powering the Nothing Phone 3 flagship model which launches next month. With this hardware you can expect a powerful device that is suited for gaming and heavy multitasking with long battery life. Poco should have it available with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The F7 should get a 6.83-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Like we said before, Poco F7 is rumoured to come with a mammoth 7,550mAh battery that gets the silicon carbon tech. Poco could bundle it with 90W wired charging speed.
Poco F7 India launch price should be competitive and leaks suggest we could get the device available starting at Rs 30,000 and topping off by Rs 35,000 for the high variant. Poco F7 series is also expected to include the Pro and Ultra variant but those are unlikely to launch in India.

India startup funding falls 25% in H1 2025, ranks 3rd globally: Tracxn
India's tech startup ecosystem raised $4.8 billion in the first half of 2025, according to Tracxn's 'India Tech Semi-Annual Funding Report H1 2025'. This marked a 25 per cent drop from $6.4 billion in H1 2024 and a 19 per cent decline from $5.9 billion in H2 2024. Despite the dip, India moved up from fourth to third place globally in startup funding, overtaking Germany and Israel. The United States and United Kingdom retained the top two spots. Neha Singh, co-founder of Tracxn, said, 'While the funding volumes have come down compared to the previous year, India's tech ecosystem continues to show resilience and maturity. Strong interest in sectors like transportation, retail, and enterprise tech signals investor conviction in solving large, structural challenges. We are also seeing quality IPOs and landmark acquisitions, which reflect the ecosystem's ability to create long-term value.' Funding by stage Funding dropped across all stages of investment. Seed-stage startups raised $452 million, down 23 per cent from H2 2024 and 44 per cent lower than the $802 million raised in H1 2024. Early-stage investments totalled $1.6 billion, a 6 per cent decline from H2 2024 and 16 per cent lower year-on-year. Late-stage funding stood at $2.7 billion, reflecting a 25 per cent sequential decline and 27 per cent drop from H1 2024. Five Indian startups secured funding rounds of over $100 million in H1 2025, a decline from nine such deals in H2 2024 and 10 in H1 2024. The largest among them was Erisha E Mobility, which raised $1.0 billion in a Series D round. GreenLine followed with a $275 million Series A round, while secured $222 million in its Series F funding. Spinny and Darwinbox also featured among those raising significant capital. These mega-rounds were concentrated in transportation and logistics tech, retail, and real estate and construction tech sectors. Sectoral performance Transportation and Logistics Tech was the top-performing sector in H1 2025, attracting $1.6 billion — a 104 per cent rise from H2 2024 and a 54 per cent increase from H1 2024. Retail followed with $1.2 billion, down 32 per cent from H1 2024 but up 25 per cent from H2 2024. Enterprise Applications garnered $1.1 billion, falling 21 per cent from H2 2024 and 26 per cent year-on-year. IPOs and unicorns As many as 12 startups went public in H1 2025, compared to 21 during the same period last year. Notable market debuts included Ather Energy, Tankup, SS Innovations International, and Infonative Solutions. Two unicorns emerged in H1 2025, a slight decline from three in H1 2024. Acquisition activity picked up significantly in H1 2025, with 73 deals recorded — a 35 per cent increase from the 54 acquisitions reported in H1 2024. Among the key transactions, Magma General Insurance was acquired by DS Group and Patanjali Ayurved for $516 million, while Minimalist was taken over by Hindustan Unilever Limited for $350 million. Leading cities and investors Bengaluru retained its position as the top city for startup funding, accounting for 26 per cent of the total raised, followed closely by Delhi at 25 per cent. Top investors overall were LetsVenture, AngelList, and Accel. In seed-stage funding, Venture Catalysts, and Antler were most active. Among venture capital firms, Accel (US) made the most investments (30 rounds), while Blume Ventures (India) added seven new startups to its portfolio.

According to a top aerospace official, South Korea is getting ready to develop its own advanced warplane. At the Paris Air Show, Shin Dong-hak, who is Vice President of International Business at Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), said that the technology they are working on like the 4.5-generation fighter jets and drones will eventually help them move toward building a sixth-generation fighter. China's Progress China has already started testing its sixth-generation jet, which is being called the J-36. Recently, videos on social media showed the prototype in action. Reports say the J-36 is around 22 meters long with a wingspan of about 20 meters. It is powered by three WS-10C engines. America's Fighter Jet Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump confirmed that the US is moving ahead with its own sixth-generation jet program by giving Boeing the contract to build it. This new jet is named the F-47. Trump called it 'the deadliest aircraft ever' and said that a test version had already been secretly flying for several years. The F-47 will be built at Boeing's manufacturing plant. South Korea's KF-21 Boramae and FA-50 At the Paris Air Show held last week, South Korea's Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) showcased its latest fighter jets. This included the KF-21 Boramae, a 4.5-generation jet developed entirely in South Korea, and the FA-50, a lightweight combat aircraft. Along with these jets, KAI also presented several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Experts believe that these fighter jets will soon be able to fly in coordination with drones. The KF-21 is expected to officially join the South Korean Air Force by the end of next year. South Korea to test multi-role combat UAV Speaking at the air show, KAI Vice President Shin Dong-hak explained, 'We are showcasing products that lay the groundwork for sixth-generation fighter capabilities.' He highlighted that UAVs are a big part of this future, and development is being steered in that direction. Shin also mentioned that the KF-21 has an edge over others in its class due to its stealth features and advanced AI co-pilot software. It can control multi-role combat UAVs during missions. KAI is planning to carry out flight tests for its new multi-role combat UAV during the Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition later this year. India and South Korea: Trusted Partners India and South Korea share a strong and friendly relationship. The two countries have been working closely in various fields, including defense. Their official diplomatic ties began in 1962 and were upgraded to ambassador-level in 1973. Over the years, the partnership between India and South Korea has grown in many areas i.e. economic, cultural, political, and military. In 2010, both countries signed the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) to boost trade and investment. Later in 2015, they took the relationship a step further by declaring it a 'Special Strategic Partnership.' In the defense sector, India has also bought the K9 Vajra howitzers from South Korea.
