Sky customers finally receive upgrade for popular TV app filled with top movies – there's a big discount too
SKY customers can finally take advantage of a streaming perk months after a dreaded downgrade came into force.
Many TV and movie apps have introduced ads now, with an option to pay extra to remove them.

In January, Sky customers were warned that their Paramount+ access would now be ad-based.
Sky Cinema subscribers get access to Paramount+ at no extra cost.
However, the change strangely didn't include an option to upgrade for those wanting to avoid the ads.
But thanks to a new update, Sky customers can now choose an ad-free option instead.
What's more, customers get money off compared to subscribing directly to Paramount+.
"Finally no ads so I can get back to watching South Park and Nobland with no interuptions!" one viewer wrote on Sky's forum.
"This is good news," another commented.
Sky customers can subscribe to Paramount+ standard - which has no ads - for £3 extra per month.
Usually, the standard plan costs £7.99 per month.
For those who want 4K quality as well as a screen allowance boost and no ads, it's £6 extra.
That's instead of the £10.99 you would have to pay for it directly.
Sky Cinema costs £10 per month and comes with two free cinema tickets for Vue Cinemas each month.
PARAMOUNT+ PRICES AND PERKS
In November, Paramount+ announced a new pricing structure.
Before then, there was just one standard plan costing £7.99.
Since November, there have been three.
The cheapest is £4.99 with ads, the ability to watch on one device at a time and only full HD quality - you also don't have the privilege to download shows offline.
Paramount+'s new standard plan is £6.99 per month, allowing up to two concurrent streams in full HD and you can download content to watch on the go.
The premium plan is £10.99 per month, with up to four devices allowed to watch at the same time, as well as 4K UHD, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on selected titles.

THE UK's biggest energy supplier is paying customers to use less electricity again from this week. Octopus Energy is bringing back its popular Saving Sessions for customers. 1 The scheme is a way for customers to earn rewards by reducing their electricity consumption during specific times when the national grid is under pressure. Over the summer, households have a chance to use their washing machine and charge their devices for free if they shift their usage from peak times. Octopus said the free electricity will be available during one hour slots that will usually be held in the early afternoon. To be eligible for the scheme, you must be an Octoplus member, which is a free rewards program for the smart meter customers. The energy supplier said nearly one million eligible customers from last year have been automatically opted in. New customers can sign up via the Octopus Energy app or online Households will get a notification the day before a Saving Session letting them know the event is about to start. Octopus will use historical smart meter readings to work out a customer's typical energy use at that time of day. If the session is on a weekday, the calculation will look at half-hourly usage over the last 10 weekdays. The figure is then used as a baseline - any power used above that baseline will be free. ENERGY SAVING SCHEMES ScottishPower offers half-price electricity at weekends to its smart meter customers on both Saturday and Sunday. Those registered for Power Saver will receive the discounted rate every Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 4pm. Scottish Power will then credit your bill with money you've saved.
