Gilbert Arenas gave an honest review of Karl-Anthony Towns' performance in Game 3. He compared his performance in the first three quarters of the game to the movie Puss and Boots to describe his slow start.
However, he went on to appreciate Town's performance in the fourth quarter, where he scored 20 points.
Karl-Anthony Towns' performance in Game 3 reminded Gilbert Arenas of a movie
Gilbert Arenas spoke about Karl-Anthony Towns' performance in Game 3 on his show Gil's Arena. He candidly compared his slow performance at the start of the game to a movie. Talking about Town's start in Game 3, he said:
'Um, first three quarters, I mean, or since game two, he was playing like literally puss and boots. Puss and Boots.
Have you ever seen the movie Puss and Boots? And he had one life left and he was scared to do anything. that's how he's been playing uh since game two.'

Game 3 coincided with Dominican Mother's Day. Keeping the occasion in mind, Gilbert was asked, 'How impressive was Cat's 20-point fourth quarter on Dominican Mother's Day?'
In response to this question, Gilbert made the Puss and Boots comparison and gave an interesting twist to the whole conversation.

Gilbert Arenas quickly segued the conversation to the section of the game where Karl-Anthony Towns took control of the game. Speaking of his performance in the fourth quarter, he said:
'But, you know, I'm going to give him his credit that he showed up in the fourth quarter.
He did what he's supposed to do against the players that's guarding him, right? As slowoot as you are, they can't keep up with you. And I I don't understand why you sit here and take these these far ass three-pointers randomly for no reason because you're open when you can drive the whole time.'

Elaborating further, he said:
'So, the fact that in the fourth quarter you started driving, taking these guys off the dribble, realizing that's your advantage, kind of makes me feel [Music] like this series would have been over if you wouldn't have did that [ __ ] in game one, right? Chucking those threes at the 8-minute mark. Could have just been driving, taking these guys to the hole.'
Uh, game two is whatever, game two.
But game three, it's like you you had four four points in the first three quarter.
Just shows, man, like when you're not engaged, dude, you're not engaged. Like when you're really just out there floating, you're you're no use to the team, you know? So like you can see that this is these guys can't stay in front of you.
You game four, this is how you finish the the the uh the fourth quarter.
That's how you're supposed to be starting this the next game and every quarter after that.'
