GMA Networka day ago

GMA Network's hit singing competition "The Clash" is back for its new season – louder, bigger, and more intense than ever before.
Premiering this June 8, "The Clash" 2025 comes with a thrilling new format: New Clashers versus Clashbackers. For the first time in the show's history, two batches of Clashers will face off in an all-out vocal showdown.
The New Clashers were first introduced last May 28. They are rising stars ready to take center stage and prove their talent to the world: Adelle Yu, Carlos Florez, Divine Camposano, Jan Echavarria, Jayce San Rafael, Juary Sabith, Liafer Deloso, Leigh Atienza, Marian Pimenta, Mitzi Josh, Scarlet Yape, and Venus Pelobello. Each one brings a unique voice, story, and style, all ready for their big break.
But they won't be alone for long. This Sunday, the Clashbackers will finally be revealed – 12 returning contestants from past seasons who are now back for redemption. Who are they? That's the big reveal everyone's waiting for.
For 14 weeks, both batches will battle it out in The Clash Arena. With instant eliminations every round, the competition will be challenging, emotional, and packed with surprises. Only four Clashers will make it to the Grand Finale, where the ultimate vocal showdown awaits.
Leading the show once again are the dynamic and energetic Clash Masters Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz, who are sure to bring their signature chemistry and charisma in every episode.
Guiding each Clasher on their journey are the seasoned members of the Clash Panel, Comedy Concert Queen AiAi Delas Alas, Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista, and Asia's Nightingale Lani Misalucha. They are again ready to share their wisdom, humor, and heartfelt advice.
From new voices to comeback dreams, "The Clash" 2025 promises to be the most unforgettable season yet. Don't miss the premiere this June 8, airing every Sunday, 7:15 p.m. on GMA Network.

Ralph De Leon on not picking AZ Martinez as final duo: 'She knows our relationship won't change'

All is well between Ralph De Leon and AZ Martinez, despite not being each other's final duo partners on 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.' Ralph was the first housemate to choose his duo after being the first to complete the final duo formation task. AZ stepped forward while Ralph was choosing, but the Kapamilya actor chose Will Ashley as his final duo because 'hindi pa po talaga ako nagka opportunity to become a duo with Will.' Ralph and AZ, who have been duos before and have formed a close bond, already previously discussed Ralph's old promise to Will that they would be each other's final duo. 'I know what working experience we have together as a duo, and I also wanted to explore that with Will,' Ralph said about AZ. While still sad that she wasn't chosen, AZ was happy for Ralph and Will, and congratulated them afterwards with a big hug. 'Eh alam ko naman sino pipiliin niya bat pa 'ko mag-se-step forward. Pero naisip ko din, hindi naman ako nagpapakatotoo 'pag di ako mag-se-step forward,' AZ told Kuya. Ralph also said that AZ and Will are the closest Kapuso to him and that they were his Top 2 choices. 'I was happy they had the courage to step forward and actually let me know din po na gusto din nila 'ko maka final duo,' he said. The Kapamilya actor said that just because he chose Will, doesn't mean he will abandon AZ. 'She knows na our relationship won't change just because hindi po siya 'yung napili kong final duo.' Ralph added that choosing Will after denying him before happened at the perfect time. 'Kuya, the fact na nag-abot pa nga po kami dito and final duo ko po si Will—ako, sobrang grateful po ako. Sobrang saya po talaga na 'di po namin ine-expect na makakabalik po ako Kuya talaga,' Ralph said. The two actors vowed that they are ready to fight until the end. Will said, 'Kami po ni Ralph, game on. Game on na po talaga.' The final duo formation will continue tonight, Saturday, on "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," which airs on GMA Network weeknights at 10:05 p.m. and weekends at 6:15 p.m. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News

Shuvee Etrata chooses Klarisse De Guzman, Dustin Yu picks Bianca De Vera as their final duos

Shuvee Etrata chose Klarisse De Guzman and Dustin Yu picked Bianca De Vera as their final duos in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." In the episode on Friday, Shuvee explained she chose Klarisse because she's among the people who bring joy in Bahay ni Kuya. "I'm gonna follow what's in my heart and I choose this duo kasi po [ang] tagal na po namin pinag-usapan na maging [mag]ka-duo, so ang pinipili ko pong maging final ka-duo ay si ate Klang," said Shuvee. Klarisse accepted Shuvee's decision. Shuvee and Klarisse ranked second and third for their last duo formation task. Michael Flores says Red Sternberg was set to return to PH for 'T.G.I.S.' reunion project

Red Sternberg was planning to return to the Philippines for a highly anticipated 'T.G.I.S.' reunion project, his co-stars revealed. In Friday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,' Michael Flores, Bobby Andrews, and Angelu de Leon honored and remembered the late actor. 'Plano niyang bumalik dito. Plano nga niyang mag-artista ulit eh. Gusto nga niyang mag-artista daw ulit eh,' Michael said. According to Michael, Red even sought advice from him and Bobby on who to approach regarding management for his return to acting. ''Pag naging OK baka mag-stay muna sila dito for a while kung OK 'yung magiging outcome. And then, 'yun nga, mag-ce-celebrate pa kami ng 30 years namin. Anniversary ng 'T.G.I.S.' So talagang sobrang excited siya to the point na nag-workout siya, nag-diet siya,' Michael said. He also revealed that a 'T.G.I.S.' reunion project had already been planned. 'Kaya masakit nga eh. Kasi nga 'yung pag-uwi niya rito, meron talaga kaming pinaplanong reunion project. Hindi pa namin puwedeng sabihin in details pero meron na talaga. Kasi matagal na 'yan eh,' Michael said, acknowledging their fans' constant requests. Bobby added, 'Ayos na lahat ng logistics, lahat ng ano, everything. And that was the reason why he was so excited to come home.' When asked what they realized following Red's passing, Angelu said that 'time is fleeting. And you really don't know what will happen tomorrow.' For Bobby, Red's passing is a 'wake up call,' noting that they're not that young anymore, so they must value the time they have left. Michael remembered that life is indeed not short and nothing is permanent. 'Sabi nga nila, 'di ba, hiram lang naman 'tong buhay natin eh,' he said. Red passed away on May 27 at 50 years old, three days before his birthday on May 30. His wife, Sandy Sternberg, said that he died due to a heart attack, according to "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Friday. The 'T.G.I.S.' barkada mourned Red's passing with social media posts and messages. "T.G.I.S." was a popular youth-oriented afternoon weekly show that ran on GMA Network. It premiered on August 12, 1995 and had more than 200 episodes, plus a spin-off film "T.G.I.S.: The Movie" that premiered in 1997. The show is set to mark its 30th anniversary this year. —Carby Rose Basina/CDC, GMA Integrated News
