Here's Our First Look at "El Sellem Wel Teban" Sequel

Yara Sameh The first look at the sequel to the 2001 romance-drama film 'El Sellem Wel Teban' ('The Ladder and The Snake'), has finally been unveiled. The film stars Amr Youssef, Asmaa Galal, Dhafer L'Abidine, Nicole Saafan, and more. Tarek Alarian, the film's original director and co-writer, is also returning to helm the sequel. Alarian is directing the pic from a script written by Ahmed Hosny. The upcoming film is being touted to be entirely different from the first film, both in terms of visual style and character development. It reunites Galal and Youssef for the second time after collaborating in 2024's "Welad Rizk 3: El Qadya". The film also witness the fourth collaboration between Alarian and Youssef after the Welad Rizk franchise. The sequel was announced at the 7th edition of the El Gouna Film Festival in October 2024. The original film starred Hani Salama, Ahmed Helmy, Hala Shiha, Ragaa Al-Geddawy, Tarek El Tilmisany, and more. Alarian directed the pic from a script he co-wrote with Mohamed Hefzy. 'El Sellem Wel Teban' is centered around Hazem, a reckless young man, who fails at being a good husband and father. His life changes when he meets Yasmin, and they both face issues that force them to fall in love with each other. The film went through many stages during its preparations, during which Hefzy wrote the script in English. Al-Aryan was very enthusiastic about the project, which was different from the films available at that time. Ahmed Hatem to Headline TV Series "Al Eind"

Yara Sameh Egyptian actor Ahmed Hatem is attached to star in the TV series "Al Eind". Hatem was last seen making a cameo appearance in Nelly Karim's star-studded TV series ' Ekhwaty '. The series also stars Ruby, Kinda Alloush, Gihan El Shamashergy, Aly Kassem, Hatem Salah, and more. It is scripted by Mohab Tarek, directed by Mohamed Shaker Khadir, and produced by Media Hub. "Ekhwaty" consists of 15 episodes and was screened during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon. Hatem, born on December 25, 1987, made his acting debut in the 2006 film "Awqat Faragh". Mai Ezz Eldin to Make Big Screen Comeback after 13-Year Hiatus

Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Mai Ezz Eldin is gearing up to make a comeback to the big screen after 13 years of absence. She made her last onscreen appearance in the 2012 film 'Game Over', which featured a starry cast that included Yousra, Ezzat Abu Ouf, Mohamed Nour,and Eman Al Sayyed. Ezz Eldin was recently seen in the romance-drama TV series " Alby We Moftaho ". The cast also stars Asser Yassin, Aida Reyad, Ashraf Abdel Baky, Samaa Ibrahem, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Diab, and more. Tamer Mohsen directed the series from a script he co-wrote with Maha El Wazir. Mediahub is the studio behind the drama. The drama consisted of 15 episodes and marked the first collaboration between Yassin and Ezz Eldin. "Alby We Moftaho" was screened during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon. Ezz Eldin, born on January 19, 1980, in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, studied sociology at the Faculty of Arts in Alexandria. In 2001, she learned that famous singer Mohamed Fouad was looking for a new face to star opposite him in his film 'Rehlet Hob' (A Love Journey), she took the risk and asked director Mounir Radi— who was a friend of the family— to introduce her to Mouhamed El Nagar the director of the film. El Nagar found in her a fresh pretty face and talent that they were searching for, in turn, he introduced her to Fouad who gave her first leading role. Ezz Eldin's second appearance was in the TV series 'Ayna Qalbi' (Where is My Heart) co-starring veteran Egyptian actress Yousra, which shot her to stardom. She boosted her career with El Sobky Production films "Kalam Mama" and the rom-com franchise 'Omar & Salma' co-starring Tamer Hosny. Her film credits also include "Farah", "Khiana Mashroaa", and "Habibi Na'eman".
