Chris Evans asks $6.99M for his LA home — featuring the gym where he toned up to become a Marvel superhero
Actor Chris Evans has listed his hilltop Mulholland Drive home for $6.99 million.
Evans, 43, purchased the Hollywood Hills home in 2013 for $3.52 million, according to the Wall Street Journal, which first reported the listing. The property, originally built in the 1940s, spans 0.76 acres.
'After over a decade of amazing memories in his LA home, Chris is planning to move to the East Coast to be closer to family,' said Scott Moore of Christie's International Real Estate Southern California — who's exclusively representing the listing — in a statement.

The 'Captain America' actor is a native of Massachusetts, where he grew up in the suburbs of Boston. Evans made more ties to New England after he tied the knot there in 2023, in a Cape Code ceremony with his now-wife, Alba Baptista.
The couple reportedly own a home not far from Evans's hometown of Sudbury, multiple outlets reported.
The Los Angeles property includes a roughly 4,600-square-foot main house and an accessory dwelling unit, encompassing four bedrooms total. The gated abode also comes with an outdoor pool and multiple patios.

'A lot of personal touches went on inside to home to embrace the views and bring warmth,' Evans said in the statement. 'On the outside, I have extended the backyard, brought in a lot of complementary landscaping that has enhanced the beauty of the view and made the yard into an entertainer's paradise.'
The 'Knives Out' and 'Snowpiercer' star told the Journal in an email that the home's views of Mulholland and Laurel Canyons, and the Santa Monica Mountains, drew him into the 'stunning and inspiring' property.

Some of Evans's furniture is included in the sale, according to Moore, as well as his gym where he got in legendary shape for Marvel films.
The gym is located in the property's accessory dwelling unit, which includes its own entrance, bedroom and kitchen.
Evans is set to star in the upcoming A24 romantic comedy 'The Materialists' featuring Dakota Johnson and Pedro Pascal, out in June.

‘Awards Chatter' Live Pod: Sean Evans on a Decade of ‘Hot Ones,' Buying the Show From BuzzFeed and Interviewing Secrets
Sean Evans, the host of YouTube's Hot Ones — an unconventional interview program that launched a decade ago advertising itself as 'the show with hot questions, and even hotter wings,' and has gone on to release 369 episodes that have attracted more than 4 billion views and featured the consumption of some 3,000 spicy chicken wings — is the guest on this episode of The Hollywood Reporter's Awards Chatter podcast, which was recorded in front of a journalism class at Chapman University. Hot Ones has been described by Vanity Fair as 'the closest thing the Internet has to a late-night talk show' and by the New York Times as 'a breakthrough pop-culture phenomenon' — the show has even been spoofed on Saturday Night Live and The Simpsons — while Evans, 39, has been hailed by Forbes as 'among the country's most revered interviewers' and by Bloomberg as 'the David Letterman of Generation YouTube.' ANDOR Creator Tony Gilroy Had to Fight Disney For Season 2 Budget After Being Told "Streaming is Dead" — GeekTyrant
Andor is one of this shows that raised the bar for the Star Wars franchise. But, getting to that second season? That didn't come easy. Tony Gilroy, the creator of Andor and the mind behind Rogue One , opened up at the ATX Television Festival about the uphill battle he faced securing proper funding for Season 2 of the critically acclaimed series. While you'd think Disney would be all-in after Season 1's success, Gilroy revealed a much grimmer outlook from the studio: "I mean, [for] Disney this is $650 million. For 24 episodes, I never took a note. We said 'F*ck the Empire' in the first season, and they said, 'Can you please not do that?' … In season 2, they said, 'Streaming is dead, we don't have the money we had before,' so we fought hard about money, but they never cleaned anything up. That [freedom] comes with responsibilities." 'Streaming is dead,' according to what Gilroy was told during Season 2's production. Kind of a surprise, considering this is Disney we're talking about, owners of Disney+, the home of Andor, The Mandalorian , and every Marvel show. But, this internal sentiment makes a bit more sense when you look at the recent slowdown in Disney's streaming content pipeline. Marvel shows have slowed down. Star Wars shows are fewer and farther between. The emphasis, for now, seems to be shifting, toward theatrical releases. I'm glad to hear that Gilroy 'fought hard' for the budget and to preserve the scope and freedom of the show. It was a massive creative swing that kept its integrity intact despite the studio's shifting priorities. Even with all the struggles behind the scenes, Andor remains the most critically lauded live-action Star Wars project to date. It was an impressive show that hit a nerve with fans, elevating the franchise in a way no other Star Wars project has. As for what's next : The Mandalorian & Grogu is headed to the big screen with Pedro Pascal and Sigourney Weaver. Shawn Levy and Ryan Gosling are confirmed to be teaming on the Starfighter movie. Ahsoka 's second season is underway for a 2026 release, and a Darth Maul series is also coming.

SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY Could Reportedly See Spidey and The Punisher Fight Hulk — GeekTyrant
Well, this one's wild, but just plausible enough to keep us on edge. There's a new rumor making the rounds that Spider-Man: Brand New Day might see Tom Holland's Peter Parker teaming up with Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle aka the Punisher, to take on none other than Mark Ruffalo's Hulk. But not the yoga-doing, taco-sharing version of Hulk we've seen lately. No, this rumor points to the return of a full-on rage monster. Smash first, maybe think later. This all comes from scooper Jeff Sneider, who recently chatted about it with John Rocha on The Hot Mic podcast. Rocha, for his part, mentioned this very scenario back in January, saying he heard from a 'very connected' source in the industry that Spider-Man: Brand New Day would be 'ground-based' and would have Peter teaming up with the Punisher to fight a newly savage Hulk. Rocha explained: 'So it's gonna be ground-based. But he's going to fight Hulk because Marvel wants to move away from the intelligent Hulk that we saw in the Avengers movies and make him much more of the brutish Hulk, the violent Hulk, the rage Hulk.' There's no denying that fans have been divided on Professor Hulk. While some appreciated the evolution of the character, others missed the raw chaos and destruction that defined Hulk's earlier appearances. Rocha acknowledged that, syaing: 'A lot of people have been complaining about the more intelligent and calmer version of the character.' Of course, the Marvel machine is constantly shifting gears. Rocha also admitted that this concept may no longer be locked in: 'I don't know if that's what Tom Holland was reading and jumping around with Zendaya in his room… because we know it's going back into rewrites.. but that was the plan they told me about a couple of weeks ago.' So, take this with a grain. Given the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again and a 2026 special presentation featuring Bernthal's Punisher, Marvel's clearly not done with Frank Castle. Whether that means he's showing up to help Spidey rein in the Hulk remains to be seen, but I sure do hope it's true! Still, a street-level battle with Hulk, Spider-Man, and Punisher? That's the kind of chaotic escalation fans could get behind!
