Dropkick Murphys singer calls Trump ‘rat and a coward' in interview after blasting fan for wearing MAGA hat
Dropkick Murphys lead singer Ken Casey condemned a fan at a recent concert for wearing a MAGA hat.
Over St. Patrick's Day weekend, the lead singer of the Celtic punk band known for the Irish-American anthem "Shipping Up to Boston," blasted a fan during one of Dropkick Murphys' three consecutive shows at the MGM Music Hall in Boston's Fenway Park.
After broadly condemning MAGA hats in general for their trademark "Chinese f---ing red" that he joked is leeching color dye into Trump supporters' brains, as well as the "Elon Musk black-on-black, true nazi edition" caps, he mocked a fan in the audience for getting ready for summer in a "bright white one."

"Bro, listen, I admire your dedication, but I will ask everyone, if you're in a room full of people and you want to know who's in a cult, how do you know who's in a cult?" Casey asked the audience as he spoke about the fan carrying the hat. "They've been holding up a f---ing hat the whole night to represent a president. This is America! There's no kings here!"
"Do you mind, sir?" he asked the same fan. "We're gonna play a song about our grandparents and people who like, fought Nazis in the war and s---, so if you could just shut the f--- up for five minutes," he said.

Casey spoke on the MeidasTouch podcast about the incident on Monday, claiming, "My goal is not to come on stage and berate our fans" but that the man in the video had been holding up the hat all night and Casey felt that he had to "call out hypocrisy when I see it, especially if it's being put in my face at a show."

He later expressed his surprise that President Donald Trump and Elon Musk have such power, arguing that if somebody was to "trick" Americans, he would have imagined somebody "cooler" like Brad Pitt.
"Elon Musk, he literally seems like a villain from a movie mixed with a guy that's like mid-nervous breakdown, and Donald Trump's just a clown - I just can't believe how they've been the two that have [been] swaying people's views," Casey said.
He added, "I'm 100% convinced that Donald Trump is a Russian asset, you know, and because of his behavior and the things he's done."

"And one other thing Dropkick Murphys has always been about is, like, a lot of songs about standing with your friends and family and the things you believe in, whether it's politics or just how you were raised," Casey continued.
"And Donald Trump is the exact opposite of everything we sing about. You know, he's turned on his friends, he's turned on America's friends and our allies, and he's a rat and a coward, you know, when you think of it that way. America shouldn't be turning on our allies, you know? Jared Leto accused of sexual misconduct and 'predatory, terrifying' behaviour by nine women
Oscar-winning American actor and Thirty Seconds From Mars frontman Jared Leto has been accused of sexual misconduct by nine women. In a report published by Air Mail, multiple women accused the 53-year-old star of Fight Club, Requiem For A Dream, Dallas Buyers Club and Suicide Squad of inappropriate behaviour. The allegations date back to the early 2000s, with one woman calling it 'an open secret' that he texted sexual remarks to teenage models. Allegations against Leto emerged last month, when DJ Allie Teilz shared an old Facebook post, written in 2012, on her Instagram Story. 'Youre [sic] not really in L.A. until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage… In a kilt.. And a snow hat. I was assaulted and traumatized by this creep when I was 17,' she wrote. In separate story, she added: 'He knew my age and didn't care. What he did was predatory, terrifying and unacceptable.' One woman told the publication that in 2006, when she was 16-years-old, Leto approached her outside a Los Angeles café. She claimed Leto was sat with fellow actor Ashley Olsen – who was then 19 – and he had grabbed her arm. 'I looked down and it was Jared Leto,' she told Air Mail, adding: 'We had a quick conversation, and he got my number.' She went on to say that Leto called her home a few days later, recalling: 'I don't know if he was on drugs or what … It was the weirdest, grossest voice … [but] for me, it's Jared, you know?' 'And the conversations turned sexual,' she continued. 'He'd ask things like: 'Have you ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever sucked a dick?'' Model Laura La Rue came forward with similar claims, saying that when she was 16-years-old in 2008, she was at an event in a private residence in Beverly Hills where Leto was 'watching her so intensely'. 'He asked how old I was. I said, 'I'm 16. How old are you?'' La Rue told Air Mail. Leto, who was 36 at the time, then reportedly asked for her number. The two began an email correspondence, which resulted in her visiting Leto's home in April 2009, the outlet alleges. 'I remember him teasing me the whole time I was there,' La Rue said, adding: 'He was flirting with me. He'd lean in close, then pull away, like it was a game.' She described a separate visit when she was 17 years old, where she alleged Leto walked out of a room completely naked. 'He just walked out, dick out, like it was normal… I thought maybe this was just what adult men do,' she said. Another woman who spoke to the outlet said that she and Leto began texting while she was still underage. She alleged he would ask her inappropriate questions during her visits to his house, including 'Do any of the little boys you hang out with fuck you?' The woman alleged that once, when she was 18, Leto had 'suddenly pulled his penis out and started masturbating'. She told Air Mail: 'He walked over, grabbed my hand, and put it on him. He leaned in and said: 'I want you to spit on it.'' A representative of Leto has 'expressly denied' the multiple accusations reported in the Air Mail exposé, saying the claims were 'demonstrably false'. This is not the first time that Leto's behaviour has been questioned and called out. Similar claims were made in 2005, when The New York Post shared a story with the opening line: 'Jared Leto likes 'em young' after he had been spotted with Olsen and Lindsay Lohan. At the time, sources told the publication he had been 'aggressively pursuing many of the teen models shacked up at the Maritime Hotel'. In 2018, Metro reported on a Twitter post made by Dylan Sprouse, who is married to model Barbara Palvin. The post read: 'Yo @JaredLeto now that you've slid into the DMs of every female model aged 18–25, what would you say your success rate is?' Guardians Of The Galaxy and Superman director James Gunn replied to Sprouse's tweet at the time, saying: 'He starts at 18 on the internet?'

Michael Cohen, former longtime personal attorney to Donald Trump, on Sunday warned Elon Musk that the president isn't done with him yet. 'They're going to really go after Elon Musk like nobody has seen, ever, in this country because they can,' he said on MSNBC on Saturday. 'And one thing Elon doesn't understand is this political guerrilla warfare that they're going to conduct against him.' Cohen warned that Trump can use the power of government to target Musk's companies and even his citizenship. Musk and Trump last week had a spectacularly public falling out, and over the weekend the president slammed his one-time pal as 'very disrespectful' and warned him of 'serious consequences' if he supported Democrats. Cohen said that while Trump has also downplayed the feud, the president is likely already plotting against the billionaire behind the scenes. 'I just wish him well,' Trump said on Friday. 'No he doesn't,' Cohen said. 'Because while Elon Musk is taking a step back thinking Trump is taking a step back, what Trump is actually doing is weaponizing the Department of Justice through his attorney general and other people, and they are gonna drop the hammer on him out of nowhere when he least expects it.
