Wisconsin DOJ showcases ESD dogs in Fight Against Online Child Exploitation conference
APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul appeared at the annual Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) conference in Appleton this week, highlighting the state's efforts to fight online child exploitation.
Kaul was joined by several specially trained Electronic Storage Detection (ESD) canines, used by the Wisconsin Department of Justice and local law enforcement agencies.
These dogs are trained to sniff out hidden electronic devices like phones, USB drives, and memory cards, tools often used in online crimes against children.
