EXCLUSIVE Shocking moment disgraced Netflix star arrested for unhinged threats to Joe Rogan

Daily Mail4 hours ago

A disgraced influencer who gained notoriety for his raw meat lifestyle has been arrested after traveling to Austin, Texas to hunt down Joe Rogan.
Brian Johnson, better known for his online persona as the Liver King, was charged with making a 'terroristic threat' after threatening the UFC commentator in a days-long deranged rant.
Johnson, a Houston native, was taken into custody in Rogan's home town by Austin police and booked into to Travis County Jail about 8.30pm on Tuesday night.
Shocking video shared to Johnson's own social media page showed an officer patting him down while he was already in handcuffs as onlookers watched on.
Johnson, 47, wordlessly complied with the officer as he was led into an unmarked police car. He was being held without bond on Tuesday night.
It is understood Johnson blames Rogan for helping to unravel his supplement empire after the famed podcaster addressed Johnson's 2022 steroid scandal on air.
Leaked emails had exposed the Liver King's $11,000-a-month steroid use, which contradicted his claims that his physique was 'natural' and the result of his raw meat based diet, in which he often boasted about eating every part of an animal from its liver to testicles.
Rogan criticized the dishonesty on his podcast, saying 'there's no way you can look like that in your 40s. I mean, he's preposterously jacked.'
'I'm on testosterone. Unlike the Liver King, I'll tell you the truth.'
Speaking from a hotel room in Austin, where Rogan $14.4million mansion, Johnson claimed in an erratic shower video that he'd had a run in with police over his threats.
'I challenge you today, Joe Rogan,' he said. 'I'm here at the Four Seasons in Austin, I'm in the shower... I didn't sleep the day before, I was up for about 40 hours.'
Johnson went on a hard-to-follow rant about a run-in with police officers as he jumped back and forth from multiple topics in no logical order.
'The police are coming or something's happening... I've not threatened to kill anybody. Did somebody say that I was going to kill somebody?' he said.
'I am going to. I've picked a fight. Who have I picked a fight with? Joe Rogan... Why? Out of principle. Family.'
'I'm challenging you, just as a man. I don't want to kill you. Why would I want to kill you? You have a family. I wouldn't want to take you away from your family.
'I wouldn't want that to happen so I hope that none of this is perceived as a threat. F**k you Joe Rogan, you guys can call all the cops.'
In one of the other threatening videos, Johnson dances around holding what appears to be two gold-plated guns, wearing a wolf head on his head, telling Rogan he should comfortably win in the fight.
Later, she shared another video purporting to show the moment he was searched and placed into a cop car by officers.
In the video, a member of his team, while filming, tells his wife that Johnson may have to spend up to 24 hours in jail as his matter is dealt with. It is unclear if he has been charged with anything.
Separately, Johnson said in another deranged video that he is 'scared' and 'has PTSD' after a recent stint inside a 'Polish prison.'
'Now I'm kinda scared about going to jail when I'm around my family because then I can't do what I do, what a man does.
'You can no longer protect your family when you're in jail. That happened in Poland. I don't want that to happen again.'
In a separate incident, Johnson was detained on August 29 at Krakow Airport in Poland moments before boarding a private jet to Houston.
Authorities found ammunition in his suitcase. Johnson received a fine and agreed to cover the costs of the investigation.
Airport spokeswoman Natalia Vince said: 'Officers from the Airport Security Service in Balice detected in the hand luggage of an American citizen. The case was handed over to the Border Guard, who initiated appropriate procedures.'
Elsewhere in his bizarre rant, Johnson revealed 'last Thanksgiving I was dying,' adding that 'the CT scan says something is in dire straits.'
Johnson had kept a relatively low profile after his steroid scandal came to light in 2022, but has resurfaced and ramped up his social media presence in the wake of a new Netflix documentary which released in April.
'Untold: The Liver King' explores his supplement empire and rise to the top by eating raw meat - specifically animal livers and testicles - on social media.
After another fitness YouTuber caught him in his bold faced lie with blood test results and a leaked email, Johnson filmed a video admitting fault.
'I never expected this exposure in the public eye, and it's been tricky as f-ck to navigate,' he said.
In the Netflix documentary, he admitted it took more than 100 attempts to get the video right.
'I will be better starting immediately,' he said.

Whoopi Goldberg skips The View after calls for her to be fired over ‘idiotic' Iran comments

Whoopi Goldberg has been missing from The View since last week after she was slammed for her comments comparing the experience of being a black American to living in Iran. The Oscar-winning actress, 69, sparked a firestorm during a segment on Wednesday in which co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin praised American freedoms, and said: 'The U.S. in 2025 is not as bad as Iran in 2025.' But Goldberg cut in: 'Not if you're black. Listen, I'm sorry. They used to just keep hanging black people,' and told Griffin 'there's no way I can make you understand it. It is the same.' SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO Goldberg questioned whether the many human rights violations perpetrated by the Iranian regime were worse than the treatment of some groups in America. 'Let's just remember, too, the Iranians literally throw gay people off of buildings, Griffin said. 'They don't adhere to basic human rights.' But Goldberg shot back: 'Let's not do that, because if we start with that, we have been known in this country to tie gay folks to the car.' Her comments earned widespread condemnation from Iranian dissidents and the public, including calls for her to be fired. Dr Sheila Nazarian is a plastic surgeon whose family fled Iran in 1985 when she was six years old. She told Fox News: 'Whoopi Goldberg's comparison between being Black in America and living under Iran's authoritarian regime is deeply misguided. 'It dismisses the brutal realities faced by millions of Iranians.' Goldberg appeared on Thursday's episode of The View, before being bashed by Bill Maher on his show. He asked the Democratic party to 'do something' about The View after playing the widely ridiculed clip on Friday, a day that Goldberg typically takes off. One TikTok user pointed out: 'You're a multi-millionaire black woman on national television saying this? That alone proves the difference between America and Iran.' After facing days of criticism, The View's co-host Joy Behar sought to explain Goldberg's conspicuous absence. 'She's in Italy accepting an award for her book Bits and Pieces, so she will be out this week,' Behar said on Monday's show. Goldberg will not be back on the show before its annual weeklong summer break next week, Behar added. She will return on July 7, sources told along with her fellow co-hosts. The news comes a month after top brass at ABC News and parent company Disney asked the women to dial back their complaints about Donald Trump. ABC News President Almin Karamehmedovic and Disney CEO Bob Iger had each made the requests separately, according to The Daily Beast. The daily talk show has been filled with criticisms of the commander-in-chief and his policies, with mostly kind words for Democrats. Reply: Goldberg's comments came after The View co-host co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin praised American freedoms It isn't the first time Goldberg has come under for her on-air comments since replacing longtime moderator Rosie O'Donnell back in 2007. In 2022, Goldberg argued that the Holocaust was 'not about race,' leading her to apologize to the Jewish community. The remarks earned her a two-week suspension.

Teen 'killer' Karmelo Anthony formally charged with murder for fatally stabbing athlete at track meet in Texas

Karmelo Anthony, the teen who admitted to stabbing and killing a fellow high school athlete at a track meet in Texas, has been indicted on a first-degree murder charge. Austin Metcalf, 17, bled out in his brother's arms after a then-17-year-old Anthony attacked him at the David Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco on April 2. Anthony, now 18, insisted he was acting in self-defense when he killed Metcalf, however, he's never explained why he had a weapon at an event on school property. However, on Tuesday, he was formally charged by a grand jury in the crime that has drawn national attention over race and privilege. 'I fully believe that justice will be served for Austin Metcalf,' his father Jeff told of the indictment. 'I look forward to the forthcoming trial. But it will never bring my son back.' Police have said the incident stemmed from Metcalf asking Anthony to leave his team tent since he didn't go to the same school. It comes weeks after the local district attorney began presenting evidence to a grand jury, asking jurors to uphold the first-degree murder count local cops originally brought against the teen. 'With that indictment, the case now moves formally into the court system. We know this case has struck a deep nerve - here in Collin County and beyond,' Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis said in a press release on Tuesday afternoon. 'That's understandable. When something like this happens at a school event, it shakes people to the core.' Grand jury proceedings are held behind closed doors, and unlike most court hearings, are not open to the public. Anthony's advisor Dominque Alexander told that his defense attorney was able to present a packet with evidence the suspect wanted the jurors to see. The teen learned about the indictment shortly before the news was released to media on Tuesday afternoon, Alexander added. 'A ham sandwich can be indicted in America, right,' Alexander told explaining he had been expecting this outcome. 'Right now, this is the first day of Karmelo pretty much preparing to defend himself in the court of law.' Anthony remains under house arrest at a secret location after persuading a judge that his safety was at risk following threats he received while living in a gated community. He spent nearly two weeks in jail before a judge agreed to reduce his bond, allowing him to await trial under house arrest.
