Brandi Glanville's health boosted by work return

Perth Now05-05-2025

Brandi Glanville has found getting back to work has had a huge "positive" impact on her health.
The 52-year-old reality star - who has been trying to deal with an undisclosed medical condition that has caused facial disfiguration for nearly two years - has teamed up with RIP Youth and Beks on new single 'Remedy' and she's delighted to be doing something she loves again.
She told BANG Showbiz: "Getting back to work has had such a positive affect on both my mental and even my physical health during these hard times.
"I'm looking forward to traveling again to promote and perform 'Remedy' with people I adore. Everyone who was involved in this song is awesome."
The former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star thinks the entertainment music brings people is much healthier than reality TV.
She said: "It's such a nice feeling to bring joy to people with this music 'Remedy', like with my books. It''s a positive change in comparison to 'Real Housewives'."
And Brandi loves having "control" of her own narrative through music, instead of being at the mercy of an editing team.
She said: "Unlike reality TV that fell into my lap - although I did enjoy some of it - doing this song 'Remedy' was completely my choice and such a creative pleasure .
"I can breathe when I'm doing music because I get to write and deliver my own narrative. I don't have to worry about being edited badly or what false story will be pitched. I love LOVE and control."
Meanwhile, RIP Youth - whose real name is James Maas - thinks his close friendship with Brandi contributed to making the song what it is.
He said: "I think the song has come together so well because we've been friends for a while and really feel comfortable enough to try new things out with eachother, weve both seen each-other at our worst.
"I've seen Brandi at her lowest lows and shes seen me thought mine so that really lifted the veil on who we really are and quickly brought us to a place of honesty and respect.
"There's also a trust factor, she knows I've been making music for a long time so I would tell her when something was off and she would trust my opinion but honestly Brandi is a great writer so she didn't need much help in that department."
'Remedy' is out now. Stream the track at https://lnk.to/remedy-single.

Teddi Mellencamp confirms new love

Teddi Mellencamp has a new boyfriend. The 43-year-old reality star - who has children Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and five-year-old Dove with estranged husband Edwin Arroyave - confirmed she has found love again after photos of her and a mystery man began circulating online earlier this week, but she declined to reveal his identity because he is a "private person". Speaking on her 'Two Ts In a Pod' podcast, which she co-hosts with Tamra Judge, Teddi said: 'I'm dating somebody. He's very kind to me, he's taking good care of me. He's nice … he's not married, he doesn't have any kids. But he's also a private person.' Teddi noted her new man had claimed not to know she was in the public eye when they first met, and she had decided to keep his name under wraps so he could retain his privacy. She said: 'I asked him, like, 'Do I even say your name?' and he's, like, it's really whatever you want to do, like, 'I know you're a public person.'' Teddi is battling stage four cancer but revealed last month her tumours had all either "shrunk or disappeared". She wrote on Instagram: on Instagram: "One update I couldn't wait to share! "All tumors stage 4 (metastasized melanoma in my brain and lungs) shrunk or disappeared so I have 6ish more weeks of immunotherapy and doctors believe I will be healed if everything stays on course. "Thank you to everyone who has sent their love, prayers, and positivity [heart emojis] (sic)" And shortly afterwards, the former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star confirmed she is "doing great" and feeling much better. She told People magazine: 'I'm actually doing great. I had immunotherapy two days ago and they did another round of scans and they said all my tumours are continuing to shrink, so I'm feeling good and I'm happy. 'This the last round of the intense immunotherapy and then I'll be doing immunotherapy for the next two years, every four weeks, but it's like half the dosage that I'm currently on, so then I think it's just going to get easier and easier on me.' Asked recently whether immunotherapy was controlling or curing her cancer, Teddi replied: "It's both. Speaking on 'Two Ts In a Pod', she explained: "It's making sure that it's getting smaller and then let's say that it gets so small that it disappears, it's making sure that it won't form anywhere else in my body. "I was a little bit worried about having to live on immunotherapy because you know how I am when I get super emotional on certain days. But I think that the fact that this is all moving in a smooth path forward is really good news."

Five could release documentary film on reunion tour

Five fans could get a behind-the-scenes documentary film about the reunion. Earlier this year, the group - comprised of Abz Love, Jason 'J' Brown, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon – announced they were back together as a five-piece for the first time in 25 years and are heading out on the 'Keep On Movin' Tour' in late 2025. Demand for the shows and interest in the reunion has been huge. The guys have been filming everything related to the reunion so far and will be capturing the backstage and on-stage moments when the tour kicks off and that footage could end up as a documentary charting their comeback. Speaking to BANG Showbiz, Scott said: 'Behind the curtain is what people like. 'The people that come to your concerts, yes they want to see your music, they also want to see what goes on backstage. We're filming bits and bobs for our memories as well. It's so nice to look back on these moments and capture these moments because that's what people want to see, the real stuff that goes on.' When asked if the footage could become a documentary film, he added: 'We're open to it. I think it would be amazing to do something like that. 'I think people need to see it.' Jason added: 'The so called off-camera, behind-the-scenes stuff is what we're all about. Capturing that stuff gives people a really good insight into us.' One special moment fans can look forward to on the tour is that at the concerts it will be the first time all five members have performed their 2001 number one single 'Let's Dance' together. Back in 2001, Sean needed to take time out from Five due to a stress induced breakdown and he was replaced in the video with a life-size cardboard cut-out in the video for the song. The track would be their last number one before they split at the end of the year. Sean's mother has told him that she cannot wait to see all five band members perform the song together. Sean said: "My mum actually said this, she said, 'I want to see all five of you perform 'Let's Dance'." Five kick off their 'Keep On Movin' Tour' on Friday, October 31 at the Brighton Centre.
