CALERA, Ala. (WIAT) — Grace Community Chapel in Calera is serving the community with food, drinks, snacks and more after an EF-1 tornado caused damage in some areas Saturday night.
Grace Community Chapel plans to be set up in the mobile home park across the street from the church until around 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening.

According to the church, they have cases of water, at least 15 pizzas and plenty of other food to give out. Community members are encouraged to stop by and get what they need.

Critical fire weather conditions for southern Utah today as hot and windy weather continues
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4) – Happy Monday, Utah! After high heat over the weekend, our weather pattern begins to shift Monday as a weak tough in the Pacific Northwest moves inland. That change will flatten the ridge that's been keeping things toasty, especially in northern Utah. As a result, northern areas can expect a slight cooldown compared to Sunday, while southern Utah holds steady with hot, dry conditions. With the trough approaching and winds picking up, we'll see gustier conditions Monday afternoon and evening—most notably across southern and eastern Utah. That will stir up fire weather concerns, especially with how dry the air remains. Red Flag Warnings are in effect from noon to midnight today for the southern half of the state due to the increase in winds. This means that existing fires will spread rapidly in addition to any new fires that start. Wind gusts up to 35 mph are expected with sustained winds of 10-25 mph. Late Monday night, a weak front will move through the state. It looks to be mostly dry since moisture is very limited. Still, a couple of isolated sprinkles can't be ruled out for northern Utah, but most of us will stay dry. By Tuesday morning, that front will have swept through most of Utah and will help drop temperatures 5-10 degrees from Monday, with the most noticeable change across northern Utah. Winds will shift more northwesterly behind the front, and while they'll still be breezy, they won't be as gusty as Monday. Midweek, high pressure over the Southwest will start sliding westward, keeping things dry but allowing for a gradual warm-up Wednesday. Winds will stay relatively light, and the pattern will start to resemble what we saw earlier in the week. Thursday brings another round of very hot, very dry weather. Southwest winds will increase ahead of another trough diving into the Pacific Northwest. Relative humidity will drop into the single digits and teens, and temperatures could flirt with record highs—especially in the valleys. Salt Lake City could hit 102°, which would break the record for that day. Heading into Friday and Saturday, the next system moves closer. Winds are expected to ramp up again, and a weak cold front could start pushing into northern Utah by Saturday. That front may bring some relief from the heat up north, but to the south, gusty winds and bone-dry air will keep fire weather concerns front and center. Stay tuned. DENVER (KDVR) — Unseasonably hot and mid-summer-like temperatures are the main feature of the Denver weather forecast for most of this week. Denver officially hit 90 degrees Saturday for the first time this year, and we can expect more 90s in the near future. FOX31 Weather: View the latest Denver forecasts, maps and radar Temperatures for Father's Day Sunday should be a few degrees warmer than Saturday, with highs around the metro in the mid-90s. There is a very small chance of an afternoon shower or storm, mainly after 3 pm. Most of us will remain dry and if we do see some rain in the metro, it will be very short-lived. It could get a little breezy tonight as lows drop down into the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds will be out of the south and east anywhere from 10-20 mph with gusts as high 25 mph. This will all be done under mostly clear skies. Monday will again see high temperatures in the lower to middle 90s across the region. Winds, however, will be a little breezy with gusts up to 25 miles per hour from the northeast. Those winds may help keep temperatures in check. A cold front arrives Tuesday and will send temperatures down into the lower 80s. It will also bring a chance for spotty showers and thunderstorms — the best opportunity for rain over the next week. Comfortable weather for the weekend before summer-like weather returns
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Quiet weather is in the forecast for this weekend, but as we head into the upcoming work week, the chance for heat, humidity, and storms increases. We started the weekend with some cloudy skies and rain showers to the south along the state line. Because of this, we had some drizzle down towards Hillsdale and Jackson this morning with decreasing clouds as you got closer to Lansing. Today we see partly to mostly sunny skies with temperatures a little cooler than where they should be only getting into the mid-70s area-wide. Clear skies stick with us tonight with temperatures into the low to mid 50s. So we have at least one more night of open windows before using the air conditioners through the upcoming work week. Temperatures warm up for Father's Day into the low 80s with mostly sunny skies. We will also start to feel the heat and humidity increase as well. Overnight lows for Sunday remain in the upper 50s. We start to feel like summer as we head into the upcoming work week with daytime highs into the low to mid 80s with dew points into the mid to upper 60s. Heading into mid-week showers and storms return for Tuesday with the best chance to see rain looking to be Wednesday. We are closely keeping an eye on the forecast for Wednesday as there is the potential for stronger storms. Keep checking back throughout the weekend and start of the work week for more information!
