Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning box office collection Day 16: Tom Cruise starrer hits Rs 90 crore mark on third weekend
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning continues to hold strong at the Indian box office, crossing the Rs 90 crore milestone on its 16th day of release. According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, the film collected Rs 3.75 crore net across all languages on its third Sunday, maintaining steady traction over the weekend.

, the high-octane action sequel had a robust opening, garnering Rs 54.4 crore in its first week. However, its second-week earnings dipped sharply to Rs 26.75 crore, prompting concerns about its long-term performance.
Despite the slowdown, The Final Reckoning rebounded over the third weekend. It earned Rs 1.9 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 3.65 crore on Saturday, and peaked at Rs 3.75 crore on Sunday. This brought its cumulative Indian box office collection to an estimated Rs 90.45 crore.
The strong weekend performance suggests that the Mission: Impossible franchise continues to resonate with Indian audiences. However, whether it can surpass the Rs 110.3 crore total earned by last year's Dead Reckoning Part One over a nine-week run remains uncertain.
Globally, the film added an estimated $27.3 million from 3,861 locations in the US. International markets contributed another $76.1 million—$25.2 million of which came from its China debut—bringing its worldwide total to approximately $353.8 million.
While its global earnings are tracking in line with the previous two instalments, the film is still far from recouping its reported $400 million production budget, raising questions about its overall profitability.
As the third weekend wraps up, all eyes remain on whether the Cruise-led blockbuster can sustain its box office momentum and secure a place among the highest-grossing titles in the Mission: Impossible series in India.

Its theatrical success was driven not just by a gripping storyline but also by Jordan's performance in a dual role as twin brothers Smoke and Stack Moore. The film continues to run in select theatres across India, which raises the question of whether viewers will choose to pay for the online version or opt for the cinema Sinners arriving on streaming platforms is a major release for horror fans, its availability comes with another downside. The film currently lacks support for regional Indian languages—no dubbed audio or subtitle options are available in Hindi or any other Indian languages. This limitation may make the film less accessible to non-English speaking viewers, especially in a linguistically diverse market like tells the story of twin brothers Smoke and Stack, who return to their Mississippi hometown after years in Chicago's criminal underworld. Set after World War I, their dream is to open a juke joint that serves as a cultural haven for their community. Speaking to People, Jordan explained how each twin was developed differently: 'Smoke, he wore his trauma differently; he kinda closed up a bit. And Stack was a lot lighter. He smiled through his pain, he smiled through his trauma.'Director Coogler shared insights on shaping the twins, revealing he consulted real-life identical twins Noah and Logan Miller for authenticity. He noted, 'They were able to work with Michael to get into the psychology of who Smoke and Stack are... Since I've known these guys, they've shared one cell phone. You'd call and not know who'd pick up, but you always knew the other one was right there.'Jordan, reflecting on the creative process, said, 'What we kind of understood about identical twins is that one is more dominant in certain areas than the other. So discovering those little details was really fun and quite insightful from a process point of view.'Along with its digital release, a special featurette titled 'Thicker Than Blood: Becoming the Smokestack Twins' is available, offering a deeper look into the preparation behind Jordan's dual roles. The home release, including 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD editions, is scheduled for July from Jordan, the cast features Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O'Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Miles Caton, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller, Li Jun Li, and Delroy Lindo.
