Mike Tyson has addressed Jake Paul's false claim that he had Parkinson's disease before their infamous boxing match, clarifying he is in good health.
The famous boxer was forced to release a statement after Paul said Tyson used toad venom to cure Parkinson's disease.
This comes after Mike Tyson returned to the ring at 58 for a fight against Jake Paul, for which he reportedly earned $20 million.
Tyson is setting the record straight after Paul made a bold claim about his health.
During a recent livestream with influencer Adin Ross, Paul made a controversial statement suggesting that Tyson had been battling Parkinson's disease and had used toad venom to cure it, enabling his return to the ring.
While discussing his use of psychedelic substances, Paul said, "Ayahuasca is really good for your brain as well. And the same with toads. Toad cured Tyson's Parkinson's so that he could come back and fight."
He further explained that toad venom is smoked. However, Tyson's representatives swiftly addressed these claims, telling TMZ that "Mike is happy and perfectly healthy. He doesn't have Parkinson's or any other illness."
In response to the backlash, Paul took to social media to clarify his remarks.
He wrote on X, "Bruh…Mike Tyson didn't have no Parkinsons..WTF. Why the f-ck is the internet so stupid for? I misspoke. Meant he used a toad to heal his pain. He has spoken about it many times. Just like I do. Just like many do."
In the comment section, fans were quick to call out Paul for backtracking on his statements.

Although he lost the bout, he viewed stepping back into the ring at 58 as a significant achievement.

At a horse racing event last month, the 58-year-old admitted he hadn't fully recovered from his highly publicized match against Paul.
