Although not many gave the Pacers much of a shot heading into the 2025 Finals, considering what a juggernaut the Thunder have been all season, here Indiana is, on the brink of a championship if it is to win a road Game 7.
Sure, the chances of that happening still seem somewhat slim, as the Thunder are a 6.5-point favorite, but anything can happen in one game. And the Pacers already proved they are up to the task of winning Finals games on the road, as they did just that in Game 1 of the series.
Most recently, Indiana took Game 6 of the series at home, 108-91, to set up this decisive Game 7. It was a total group effort for the Pacers in the Game 6 win, as they had six different players score double-digit points, led by reserve forward Obi Toppin, who had 20 points and six rebounds in the victory. Star lead guard Tyrese Haliburton, who's dealing with a lower-leg injury, actually had a quiet game in the win, scoring just 14 points to go with five assists.
Tune in to ABC or ESPN Deportes at 8:00 p.m. ET on Sunday night to catch what should be another thrilling Game 7 between the Pacers and Thunder at the Paycom Center.

Thunder blow out Pacers in Game 7 to win NBA championship
The Oklahoma City Thunder won the NBA championship over the Indiana Pacers, 103-91, running away with Game 7 of the NBA Finals on their home court in exciting fashion. The last time this franchise won an NBA title was 1979, when they were still known as the Seattle Supersonics. Since relocating to Oklahoma City in 2008 and rebranding as the Thunder, they have not won a title until Sunday night. League MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and his teammates made sure to change that on Sunday night, as their dominant regular season and NBA Playoffs run was capped in the best way possible in a do-or-die Game 7. This is a developing story. More to come.
