Human vs. AI: Head-To-Head Battle Unfolds In First-Ever $1Million March Madness Bracket Challenge
LAS VEGAS, March 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- In a moment that may redefine whether artificial intelligence can outsmart humans, 4C Predictions, the world's first AI predictions marketplace, is putting its top sports models against expert sports bettor Sean Perry in a $1 million March Madness Challenge. The stakes? Perhaps more than money - this is a pivotal moment in history. AI has already reshaped industries like finance and healthcare, but can it outpredict a human expert in sports?
How The Challenge Works?
Immediately following Bracket Sunday, both 4C's AI Mega-Model and Sean Perry will publicly release their Men's and Women's brackets. Once the tournament ends, the competitor with the highest accumulated points—based on correct predictions—will be declared the winner.
4C has enlisted five of its top AI creators to build a single 'AI Mega Model"—a powerhouse predictive system designed exclusively for this battle against high-stakes gambler Sean Perry, a betting strategist known for turning nearly $2 million in profits from Super Bowl moneyline bets. With full transparency, every pick will be made public, allowing sports fans, analysts, and AI enthusiasts worldwide to compare results in real time. 4C Predictions' Mega-Model combines five of its top AI models specifically for this event. What is 4C Predictions?
4C Predictions isn't a sportsbook—it's a marketplace that hosts AI prediction models created by experts in various fields. 4C has already attracted some of the top data scientists, PhDs, and elite prediction experts from around the world to build models on its platform.
The platform started with sports predictions and will rapidly expand as more experts apply to host their prediction models. Soon-to-be-released categories include:
Stocks & Financial Markets
Politics (elections, policy shifts, global events)
Real Estate & Interest Rates
Entertainment (Oscars, award shows, box office trends)
Geopolitical Forecasting & Life Expectancy Models
For years, elite investors, hedge funds, and sportsbooks have had access to sophisticated analytics that give them an unfair advantage over everyday individuals. 4C Predictions is changing that by democratizing access to world-class AI-powered forecasting, ensuring that everyone – from casual sports fans to serious investors – has access to the same cutting-edge insights as the wealthiest decision-makers.
As AI gets better and stronger, so do the prediction models. The best models continuously improve, learning from past mistakes, and over time, predictions are expected to become even more accurate.
A Pivotal Moment in AI vs. Human Expertise
Sean Perry is a professional sports bettor who has won millions, including nearly $2 million in profits from moneyline bets on the 2022 and 2023 Super Bowls. He runs a sports betting training site and community on Instagram at @SeanPerryWins.
'I've won eight figures betting on sports and have built a successful track record over many years, as I analyze the ins-and-outs of each team's strategic game scheme, player performance, and ability to match up against their opponent,' said Sean Perry. 'AI cannot possibly match my analysis, which is why I'm confident of my victory against AI – I know exactly what it takes to beat the odds.'
Alan Levy, the visionary behind 4C Predictions, offers a different perspective:
'For years, sportsbooks and pros have had access to advanced analytics, while the average person relied on gut instinct or sports channels. That's not a fair fight. With 4C, we're leveling the playing field by giving people access to top AI prediction models—like having a team of PhDs working for you 24/7. The Man vs. AI Prediction Challenge is the ultimate test, and we're putting $1 million behind it. In the future, every smart individual will use AI to make better and more accurate decisions – whether it's in sports, investing, or everyday life. Why wouldn't you use the best tools in the world to accumulate wealth, avoid mistakes, and make smarter choices?'
The one thing that Perry and Levy seem to agree on—and that most smart people recognize – is that AI will eventually surpass humans' ability to predict. Perry himself acknowledges that the best bettors will inevitably incorporate AI into their strategies because the smartest people in the world already use AI to optimize decisions.
How to Get Involved
While Perry and 4C battle it out, you can access the same AI-powered predictions that are taking on a multimillionaire bettor. DeMarcus Ware Believes Brian Schottenheimer Could Be the Spark the Cowboys Need
DeMarcus Ware Believes Brian Schottenheimer Could Be the Spark the Cowboys Need originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Hall of Fame outside linebacker and Dallas Cowboys legend DeMarcus Ware believes Brian Schottenheimer is the ideal leader to push Dallas closer to its long-awaited sixth Super Bowl. Advertisement Ware acknowledged that Schottenheimer has the ability to change the Dallas Cowboys' culture while also keeping Owner, General Manager, and President Jerry Jones focused on what matters most. 'I think a guy like Schottenheimer coming in and reminding [Jones] what's the most important thing, and that's his family,' Ware told 'The Invasion' podcast. 'Sometimes you need reminders and someone underneath you to say 'hey, let's try this' and hit a little button in [Jones] that will sort of get that fire going in you again.' Going into his first season as the Cowboys head coach, Schottenheimer has made an intentional effort to build a strong chemistry with each player. Ware recalled a similar atmosphere and emphasis on culture during his Super Bowl-winning run with the Denver Broncos. Advertisement 'That's like really cool to be able to — [Schottenheimer] bringing in that family aspect because it's been gone. Even when I was there, it wasn't there a lot," Ware said. 'When you can bring that family aspect, I know what it felt like in Denver when we did it. We won a championship because it was like, when them doors were closed, it was all family inside and I knew exactly why that guy was playing and what made him tick.' If Schottenheimer can ignite an internal fire not just in the players, but throughout the organization, the Cowboys may be in store for a special season. Cowboys Need Dak Prescott Obsession To End Super Bowl Drought
Cowboys Need Dak Prescott Obsession To End Super Bowl Drought originally appeared on Athlon Sports. FRISCO - Dak Prescott does not hesitate in talking about adversity, in his life and in general. At the same time, as he enters his 10th in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, he has reached life's peaks in so many ways. Advertisement He's in love with fiancee Sarah Jane Ramos. The couple just welcomed their second child, another baby girl, to the world. He tops the NFL in salary at an all-time high $60 million per year, which helps him do things like tear down his $3 million mansion to build something bigger and to donate mountains of money (and his time) to charitable causes. But ... He has yet to reach the pinnacle of the sport. With Prescott approaching his 32nd birthday in the coming months - yes, there will be the annual cake smashed into his face on July 29 once we get to Oxnard and training camp - it is only natural for him to think about the legacy he will leave when his playing career comes to an end. Advertisement Right? "I'll be damned if it's just for my legacy, for this team, for my personal being, for my sanity,'' he said of that "pinnacle.'' "I want to win a championship.'' That would of course apply if he was making $600,000 instead of $60 million. But in our experience covering the NFL and the Cowboys for more than 35 years, it also takes leadership and talent and luck and an obsession with capturing a Super Bowl. And Dak? He has made it clear that he couldn't care less about his legacy — he wants that ring. Prescott said, "The legacy, whatever comes after I finish playing, will take care of itself. I want to win a championship. The legacy will take care of itself, I have to stay where my feet are." Advertisement The bad news, for right now? It's not being hyper-critical that while Dak's "legacy'' as a person, as a citizen, as a teammate, is pristine ... As a football star, Dak's legacy is that he is a good regular-season quarterback with a 2-5 record in the NFL playoffs. Entering Year 10, time is of the essence for Dak to get that elusive Super Bowl ... in part because of his age but also because his gigantic $240 million contract becomes escapable in two years. The Super Bowl drought is going on 30 years. That's not all Dak's fault, obviously, as he has accomplished so much - he'll soon likely hold the franchise records for wins (he's 18 behind Troy Aikman), passing yards (he's 2,746 behind Tony Romo), and passing touchdowns (he's 35 behind Romo) in the next couple seasons. Advertisement But in the end, those things won't matter much ... not to anybody who is obsessed a about winning Cowboys championship ... at which point the legacy will indeed take care of itself. What Is 'Best-Case' Scenario For Schotty And Cowboys?
What Is 'Best-Case' Scenario For Schotty And Cowboys? originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Expectations for the 2025 Dallas Cowboys under first-time head coach Brian Schottenheimer have varied dramatically over the past few months. Advertisement Some think that the way Dallas has constructed its roster, with free agency and draft additions, coupled with a healthy Dak Prescott, means the playoffs are a minimum requirement for Schotty. But others think the Cowboys will miss the playoffs altogether. So there is no in between. But what would be the best-case scenario for the Cowboys in 2025 with Schottenheimer leading the way? CBS Sports has given their thought. "Jerry Jones' offensive investments (i.e. George Pickens, Tyler Booker) reinvigorate Dak Prescott, and new coach Brian Schottenheimer is a locker-room hit, launching Dallas to its first playoff win in three years," CBS Sports writes. Brian Schottenheimer And DakBy Tony Fisher One playoff win? Is that really the best case scenario? Advertisement We think winning a Super Bowl is the best-case scenario for Dak and Schottenheimer in 2025. Winning a playoff game, although something the franchise hasn't done in three seasons, would be a notable achievement, but fans and media likely don't view that as the best possible outcome for Dallas. A Super Bowl is. But if CBS' scenario plays out, and Dallas does win a playoff game, before being dumped out, that would be a sign of progression and present a good foundation to build from. The Cowboys loom as a team where, right now, it is tough to get a proper read on, and as such, if you offered some fans a playoff win in Schottenheimer's first year, some might take it. Advertisement Why? Well, it would mean Dallas goes toe-to-toe with the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders for a start, and likely wins 10 games. That'll do. But if we are talking true best-case scenario, it isn't the playoff drought that is the pinnacle - it's winning the first Super Bowl in nearly three decades.
