‘Existential threat': Israel helping the Iranian people ‘overthrow' its regime
Israel Foreign Ministry Special Envoy Fleur Hassan-Nahoum says Israel is laying the groundwork for the Iranian people to 'overthrow this horrible regime'.
Israel and Iran are launching tit-for-tat missile strikes at one another's cities on Wednesday morning, as Donald Trump considers whether the US should intervene in the conflict which is entering its sixth day.
'We have killed so much of the leadership; Khamenei is feeling very isolated right now,' Ms Hassan-Nahoum told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
'We will ... help the Iranian people but it's ultimately them who have to decide what government they want and what leaders they want.'
