I Spent a Week Driving the 2025 Genesis GV60 EV: Here's My Expert Review
One thing became abundantly apparent to me during my week with the Genesis GV60: my wife and my neighbors were in love with it. Much of that has to do with the elegantly cute exterior design mixed with the internal aesthetic. They fawned over it. Parents at my kid's school asked about it as well, as despite it being available in California for a while, it's still a curiosity.

The all-electric GV60 uses the same E-GMP platform as the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and KIA EV6, among others. Designer Jung Myung-jin did an outstanding job changing just enough components throughout that many consumers will not recognise the bits shared with its brethren. Three powertrains are available, including rear or all-wheel drive (AWD) setups that employ different power levels.
At the bottom of the trim tree is the Standard rear-drive model, which has a 77.4 kWh battery, 225 hp, and a starting MSRP of $52,350. That same Standard trim can be equipped with an AWD powertrain that keeps the same battery but adds another motor for a combined 314 and a $55,850 MSRP. Just above it is the fancier Advanced AWD trim, which has the same power as the Standard AWD but with more luxury features for $60,900. Sitting comfy at the top is the $69,900 Performance AWD trim, which makes a combined 429 hp but can be temporarily boosted to 483 hp thanks to "Boost Mode." My Performance AWD test car had a rather mediocre EPA estimated range of 235 miles.
At first glance, the interior is lovely to behold. If you forget that the arrangement of the two 12.3-inch side-by-side screens is identical to what the Hyundai Ioniq 5 has, the rest looks fresh and unique. I'm not a huge fan of the rotating crystal ball that turns into the gear select rotating knob, mainly because it's close in size and location to the infotainment knob.
The UX (user experience) takes some getting used to, and screen interaction takes longer than some would like. Still, it looks good. The seats are also a bit of a compromise: they have a type of seat message control, but it's only accessible on the side of the seat, and it's anything but intuitive.
Back seat space is fine for average-sized adults, but taller ones may be uncomfortable if there's a taller driver or front passenger. Cargo space is on the smaller side throughout, with 24.7 cubic feet behind the back seat and a maximum of 54.7 cubic feet with the second row folded down. There's also a tiny cargo cubby up front that can hold the charging cables but little else.
It's a hoot to drive; it's as simple as that. I have only driven the Performance version, which has an adjustable suspension that can go from being somewhat sporty on the curves to a nice, mellow ride on the highway. It's almost uncanny, and yes, it drives as good as it looks.
My range was nowhere near the EPA estimates. Granted, I was driving it with gusto, but all was said and done, my range was closer to 200 miles. Fortunately, it charges fast, with a peak rate of 350kW that is pretty much the best in class. Even at 200kW, it juiced up super quick.
Compared to what I have sampled from Volvo, Polestar, Tesla, and Acura, the 2025 Genesis GV60 is one of the more enjoyable all-around vehicles in its class. Some controls take some time to get used to, and it's more of a sporty wagon than an SUV, but that's pretty obvious.
I would like some more useable ranges, and many people are still waiting for it to become available where they are located. Indeed, one of the parents who was fawning over the thing told me that they had been waiting for their allotment for over six months, but they were still excited to get one. I guess that says something.

Ford Launches Enticing 2025 Mach-E Lease Offer for June
The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E may play on the name recognition of the pony car's nameplate, but it offers more utility than the famed muscle car. Ford is making it more affordable to get behind the wheel of the all-electric crossover this June, with several fantastic lease deals to choose from. In almost all cases, you can lease a new Mustang Mach-E for under $350 per month, and certain areas may get an even better deal. If you're just stepping into the world of EVs, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is both a great introductory and long-term model. Designed to meet the needs of the modern driver, the electric crossover puts practicality a step above all else without sacrificing performance and efficiency. The Mustang Mach-E is available in four trim levels for the 2025 model year: Select, Premium, GT, and Rally. Notably, however, most lease deals focus on the Select and Premium trim levels. Range anxiety is a major concern for most consumers making the leap to an EV, but the base Ford Mustang Mach-E Select features a standard 73 kWh battery good for up to 260 miles of range when paired with RWD. With that setup, the crossover boasts 264 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque from its sole electric motor. Upgrading to AWD reduces range to 240 miles and boosts performance to 325 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The Premium trim is a step up from the Select model and offers the most range of any trim level. The Mustang Mach-E Premium includes the option to maximize range by keeping the rear-wheel drivetrain and upgrading to an 88-kWh extended range battery. With that combination, the Premium trim can go as far as 320 miles on a single charge. In keeping with the Mustang's reputation, the Mustang Mach-E comes in two high-performance trims: GT and Rally. The GT features a 91 kWh battery and standard AWD, with a 280-mile range, 480 horsepower, and 600 lb-ft of torque. There's also an optional performance upgrade that boosts the instant torque to 700 lb-ft. The Rally model features top performance specs like 480 horsepower, 700 lb-ft of torque, and a 265-mile range. The top-spec trim boasts the capability to go off-road, with aspects like the damping system specifically designed to aid in drifting and sliding. Ford is offering what appears to be a nationwide lease deal on the base Mustang Mach-E Select of $344 per month for 39 months, with a $4,343 down payment. If you don't mind paying a bit more, you can step up to the Premium model with a $365 monthly payment and $4,764 due at signing. While both of those lease offers are already a bargain, Ford offers even better deals for specific locations. Residents of Los Angeles and Honolulu can get behind the wheel of a Mustang Mach-E Select for just $299 per month for a 24-month lease term, with $4,099 due at signing. In Seattle and Anchorage, you can park a Premium model in your driveway for just $349 per month for 36 months with a $5,000 down payment. New York City residents can get a Premium model upgraded with AWD and an extended range battery for a $349 monthly payment on a 36-month term and $5,299 due at signing. Both the nationwide and area-specific offers come with a 10,500-mile annual mileage allowance and are valid through July 7th. Whether you're a fan of Ford, the Mustang's heritage, or just want to give EVs a shot, the Mustang Mach-E has proven to be a practical crossover with some pep in its step. With lease offers under $350 to boot, it's a hard model to pass up! These 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E lease deals are available until July 7th, so you still have some time to figure out which model best suits your needs. Lease offers can vary based on location, vehicle configuration, and are subject to credit approval. Advertised monthly payments don't necessarily include taxes, title, registration, or other fees. Tesla Launches Killer Model 3 Lease Offer for June
The Tesla Model 3 has always been a compelling entry point into the world of electric vehicles. It's quick, comfortable, packed with tech, and now, thanks to an attractive new lease offer, it's surprisingly affordable. For June 2025, Tesla is offering standout 24-month lease deals on all three versions of the refreshed Model 3. Whether you're looking for maximum range, all-wheel-drive confidence, or brutal acceleration, there's an option that could fit your budget better than you'd expect from a luxury EV brand. The entry-level Long Range RWD model can now be leased for just $349 a month for 24 months, with only $349 due at signing (not including the acquisition fee). That's a remarkably low barrier to entry for a car that delivers over 360 miles of range and a 0–60 mph time under five seconds. Need all-weather traction or more speed? The Long Range AWD version leases for $549/month, and the top-tier Performance AWD trim, which rockets to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds, leases for $849/month. Both require matching down payments of $549 and $849, respectively. Tesla is also offering 0.99% APR for 60 months to qualified buyers who apply the $7,500 federal EV tax credit at the point of sale. That effectively knocks thousands off the price up front, and makes financing nearly as appealing as leasing. The 2025 Model 3 lineup features Tesla's latest "Highland" updates, which include a smoother ride, quieter cabin, and cleaner interior design. Despite its simplicity, the cabin feels modern and tech-forward. All trims come with heated and ventilated front seats, a large center touchscreen, built-in navigation, and Tesla's Autopilot driver assistance system. The cargo area expands with split-folding rear seats, offering up to 21 cubic feet of usable space. No matter which version you choose, the Model 3 is fast. The Long Range RWD hits 60 mph in 4.6 seconds, while the Performance AWD does it in a supercar-rivaling 2.8 seconds. Even with this kind of speed, the Model 3 delivers excellent range: up to 363 miles for the RWD model, 346 miles for the AWD version, and 296 miles for the Performance trim. On the road, the Model 3 feels planted and sharp, thanks to its low center of gravity and firm suspension. The Performance model also adds adaptive dampers and upgraded brakes, making it a serious driver's car. Tesla's June lease specials make it easier than ever to get into a Model 3, especially if you've been on the fence about EV ownership. Whether you're drawn to the RWD model for its range and value, or the AWD Performance for its raw acceleration, there's a deal here worth considering. With updated styling, better ride quality, and flexible pricing options, the 2025 Tesla Model 3 isn't just one of the best EVs on the road-it's one of the smartest leases this summer.
