Beyoncé brings out surprise Renaissance hit and debuts custom Versace look as she takes to stage for second high-octane Cowboy Carter show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Beyoncé pulled out all the stops once again for the second night of the UK leg of her Cowboy Carter the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour, as she put on another electrifying show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
The global superstar, 43, treated the London crowd to a slew of surprises, including a performance of one of her biggest hits and new incredible outfits.
It marked Queen Bey's second night at the stadium, with the hitmaker set to hit the stage again on June 10, 12, 14, and 16, before heading to Paris for three shows.
Opening the show, Beyoncé addressed the thousands of screaming fans: 'We're gonna have us a good time. Are y'all ready?'
As the arena lit up with cheers of excitement, the hitmaker commented: 'I can tell this is going to be a show tonight.'
Once again, her incredible fashion looks played a huge role in the spectacle, with the singer continuing to channel Western glamour with sparkly cowboy hats and boots aplenty.
Beyoncé displayed a dazzling new look for Alliigator Tears, sporting a graphic Rodeo T-shirt, fringed gloves and a white skirt, boasting an American flag design and a daringly high slit that revealed her thigh-high buckled boots underneath.
She also slipped back into her favourite daring fringe chaps and glittering bodysuit as she displayed her impeccable dance moves.
After blowing fans away on her opening night in London on Thursday with 2022 hit track, Energy, Beyoncé had something else up her sleeve for night two.
She had the crowd screaming in excitement, as she performed one of her most popular Renaissance hits, Break My Soul.
Fans raced to social media to voice their gratitude and shock, writing: 'BREAK MY SOUL IN 2025 THIS IS HISTORY'; 'Oh BREAK MY SOUL the global solo hit you are!!!!'.
'hello all. BEYONCÉ DID BREAK MY SOUL?!??!?'; 'ENERGY STRAIGHT INTO BREAK MY SOUL???? i just time traveled to summer 2023!!!'.
'Just found out that energy and break my soul aren't on the set list normally so I got really lucky last night'; 'SHE DID BREAK MY SOUL WTFFFF'.
'she brought back the BREAK MY SOUL twerk just for me'; 'ENERGY AND BREAK MY SOUL!!?! THE RENAISSANCE NEVER ENDED.'
'That's a wrap on London N2! So many new looks and Break My Soul made its iconic return!'; 'WHAT???? BREAK MY SOUL?? LETS GOOO'.
'London won again! We got Break My Soul!!'; 'BEYONCÉ DOES ANOTHER SURPRISE PERFORMANCE OF BREAK MY SOUL, ICONIC'.
During her mash-up of Ya Ya and Why Don't You Love Me, she had a moment to take in the adoring crowd, as fans chanted her ad-libs back at her.
While she brought back her signature Renaissance World Tour move, the Mute Challenge, with the UK crowd showing they more than ready to take on the silent challenge.
A stand-out moment of the night saw Beyoncé step out in a show-stopping Versace look, made in the fashion house's hallmark print.
She first took to the stage in a breathtaking gown with a corseted bodice, huge draped skirt and matching knee-high boots, with a gold Versace Medusa necklace to complete the look.
However, in typical form for the most-awarded artist in Grammy history, Beyoncé didn't leave it there, with her then whipping off the dress to reveal a pair of tiny leather shorts.
And in honour of her custom looks, designer Donatella Versace was in the arena herself to witness it all.
Beyoncé shouted out the fashion icon from the stage towards the end of the night, announcing: 'We got Donatella Versace in the house!'
The 62,000 capacity venue will host all the singer's shows on the British leg of her tour before she moves to Paris and then returns to the US.
She last performed in the UK in 2023 on the Renaissance World Tour, which saw her play five dates at the same stadium.
While ticket sales for her 2023 Renaissance world tour in the UK sold out within minutes of being released it hasn't been quite the same this time around.
There were still 539 free seats left in the stadium on the first London night, which holds around 62,000 people for concerts.
However, the majority of the empty seats were in the restricted area with fans preferring not to splash the cash on a compromised view.
While they had access to a screen showing the stage, the show and Beyonce herself were blocked by the sound and light system.
Her UK stint comes after ticket sales for the US part of her tour were also sluggish.
The ticket sales may reflect less interest in her country-tinged Cowboy Carter material compared to her dance-friendly Renaissance material.
The singer–songwriter also may be struggling to get fans who saw her on her whirlwind Renaissance tour to come back just two years later, this time at even higher prices.
Those prices - $200–$300 a ticket for some of the worst seats at her upcoming Chicago shows - may be also turning off fans.
Over the past few months Beyoncé appeared to have drastically slashed prices at some of her shows in order to get fans to buy the unsold tickets.
Some fans who saw her in LA were able to nab tickets as cheap as $35 before Ticketmaster's fees.
The tour, officially titled Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour is in support of her album Cowboy Carter.
The all-stadium tour, featuring 32 stadium shows in the U.S. and Europe, began on April 28 in California, and is scheduled to conclude on July 26 in Nevada.

Family of Race Across The World's Sam Gardiner ‘overwhelmed' by support
The family of Race Across The World contestant Sam Gardiner have issued a message of thanks for the love and support following their son's death and also thanked people for donations to a fundraising campaign set up in his memory. The 24-year-old, who competed in the BBC One series alongside his mother Jo, died following a car crash last month. A JustGiving page launched in his memory by his family, in aid of National FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder), has so far raised more than £10,000. His mother said: 'We have been overwhelmed by the tens of thousands of messages of love and support on social media and in comments to press reporting. 'We would like to thank the BBC, Studio Lambert and everyone at Race Across The World production, fellow contestants and fans of the show for all their support at this terrible time. It has been very comforting to know that Sam touched so many people. 'I have been particularly moved by all the messages that Sam was an inspiration to many who have been impacted by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. 'We adopted Sam and he was diagnosed with FASD. As viewers of season two will recall, this was a big challenge both for Sam and for us as his parents. 'National FASD helped us on that journey. If some good comes of this tragedy, it will be that FASD is better understood.' Mr Gardiner was driving a white Volkswagen Golf R estate when it came off the road and rolled before landing on its side. The accident happened on the A34 in Gatley, near Cheadle, on Monday May 26 and he died on May 29 from his injuries, his family said last week. Broadcast in March 2020, Sam and Jo ventured across Mexico and Argentina as part of the second series of the BBC show. Mr Gardiner's father Andrew said: 'When the news broke last week, friends asked how they could help. 'After some thought, I decided to set up a JustGiving page to raise money for National FASD in memory of Sam. The page is called Sam Gardiner; Super Human. 'I set the target at £500 thinking a few friends might be generous enough to make a donation. So far it's raised 20 times that. It's very humbling to see the RATW family rally to this worthy cause.' The National Organisation for FASD says on its official website that it 'provides support to people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, their families and communities, campaigns to raise public awareness, and promotes relevant policies and practices'. The website also describes FASD as resulting 'when prenatal alcohol exposure affects the developing brain and body.. It says: 'FASD is a spectrum. Each person with FASD is affected differently. 'While more than 400 conditions can co-occur, FASD is at its core a lifelong neurodevelopmental condition. All people with FASD have many strengths. Early diagnosis and appropriate support are essential, especially for executive functioning.' A message on the official National FASD Instagram account said: 'Sam lived his life full of love, exuberance and adventure as seen on BBC's Race Across the World. 'National FASD is both humbled and honoured to help carry on his legacy via donations coming from hundreds.' A private funeral will be held later this month.

Isle of Wight Festival headliners about 'gut feeling'
A leading music festival promoter said "gut feeling" was more important than social media likes when booking headline Giddings, who represents artists ranging from Blondie to Phil Collins, has run the Isle of Wight Festival since it restarted in said performers needed to be able to "deliver" to a crowd and get people in the audience to look away from their phone 72-year-old said he had "learned the hard way" that some people "might have sold a lot of records but they're useless when it comes to performing". "When you look back on who we've had - Blur, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, the [Rolling] Stones - they're all capable of delivering, even if it's pouring with rain," he said."I do know artists who've had a million views on TikTok who can't sell 300 tickets at a club in London."Just because all these people want to watch them on socials doesn't mean they're going to pay money to go and see them in a field." Mr Giddings said he remembered the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970, which saw 600,000 hippies descend on the island, leading to the event being outlawed for 32 year, Jimi Hendrix, the Who and Joni Mitchell were among the artists who performed on the island."I remember walking over the hill, it was like going to the Battle of the Somme, and you could smell them before you saw them," he year's festival, from 19 to 22 June at Seaclose Park in Newport, will be headlined by Sting, Stereophonics and Justin Timberlake. After 23 years of organising the event, Mr Giddings said: "I absolutely love it, which is my downfall because I work all the time, I never think I've actually had a job."There's nothing better than sitting in an office in Fulham in November, it's wet and windy outside and you're imagining putting an act on in a field on the Isle of Wight in June, and then you see it nine months later and people are going wild to it."It's the most satisfying thing ever to provide entertainment for people." Nepo baby with Hollywood A-list parents lands huge movie role – can you guess who she is?
A nepo baby with Hollywood A-list parents stunned on the red carpet this week - but can you guess who she is ? The star is following in the footsteps of her famous actress mother and is set to have a huge role in an upcoming Hollywood film. 5 5 Nico Parker wowed on the red carpet at the Train Your Dragon Immersive Experience screening at Frameless in London, this week. The 20-year-old showed up and showed out in an elegant cream and pink dress with sheer laced sleeves and back which draped to the floor. The British actress paired the look with some pointed nude heels and some simple jewellery. If you haven't already guessed Nico is the daughter to none other than actress Thandiwe Newton and famous director Ol Parker. Thandie and Ol also share 24-year-old Ripley and their youngest son Booker. Nico shot to stardom at just 14-years-old with her Hollywood debut of the remake of Disney's classic live-action Dumbo. She has gone on to have notable roles in HBO's hit series The Last Of Us and Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy. Now, the actress is set to star in her biggest role to date as Astrid in the upcoming live-action remake of the 2010 film How To Train Your Dragon. The film is set to release in the UK on June 9. The story will follow Hiccup played by standout actor Mason Thames on his journey bonding with a dragon, Gerard Butler will also be starring in the film as his father Stoick. This week, while promoting the film, Nico opened up about her famous mum and dad, on ITV's Lorraine, and revealed how "supportive" they were about her career. "My parents, the really lovely thing about both of them is that their advice is predominantly about, you know, how to be a good person, rather than, you know, how to behave on a film set," she said. "And I think that what's lovely about that is that the two kind of bleed into one another, because I think it's much more important to be a nice and normal person and be kind to others, rather than, you know, know what angle best suits you. "So, the advice that I get from them feels very, very much more so about life and things like that. 5 "And the wonderful thing about that is that you can then take it on to work and wherever you go." Back in 2018, Thandiwe appeared on UK daytime show This Morning and spoke about how she manages her daughter entering the acting world. She said: 'Having a mother and father in the industry… she's been on endless sets. It's not that she takes it for granted, but it's not a world that she feels she's not entitled to be in. '(Plus) she has her mum right there like a lioness checking that everything is looked after. You can't stop the industry operating the way it has unless the truth comes out. 'I feel this great relief, excitement for the women coming into this industry now,' she added. 5
