Shehreyar Munawar dishes on how he knew Maheen Siddiqui was 'the one' for him
Shehreyar Munawar Siddiqui, a prominent actor, producer, and director, has captivated audiences with his talent and charm.
He's one of the top stars in the Pakistani entertainment industry, and recently, he tied the knot with actress Maheen Siddiqui in a beautiful and low-key ceremony.
During an appearance on Ahmed Ali Butt's podcast, Excuse Me with Ahmed Ali Butt, Shehreyar opened up about the heartwarming story of how he met Maheen and realized she was "the one."
The couple first met a few years ago at a social gathering at the home of renowned film director Asim Raza. However, it wasn't until about a year and a half ago that their connection truly began.
As Shehreyar recounted, they started to talk and became friends. What began as a friendship eventually turned into something much deeper, but it wasn't until one fateful Sunday that he knew for sure that Maheen was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
In his own words, Shehreyar shared that they had initially planned to meet for a quick coffee one Sunday morning. But when the two sat down together, they couldn't stop talking.
Their coffee date quickly turned into a marathon seven-to-eight-hour conversation. It was the kind of moment you only read about in romantic movies, where you feel an instant, deep connection with someone.
The kind of conversation that leaves you thinking, 'Wait, what just happened?' And for Shehreyar, that was the moment he knew Maheen was the one.
A few weeks later, Shehreyar did something that he joked might have 'scared her off a bit' — he introduced Maheen to his parents, just a month into their relationship. But for him, it felt right, and clearly, it worked out in the end! The couple got married a year and a half after that life-changing conversation, and they are now happily married.
Shehreyar's love story with Maheen is a beautiful reminder of how sometimes, the best relationships come when we least expect them, and how one conversation can change everything. After all, true love often doesn't follow a set plan — sometimes it just happens, just like the movies.
For Shehreyar, it seems like this was his "happily ever after," and it's clear that the couple is excited to write the next chapters of their life together.
