Teaser of Agastya Nanda starrer 'Ikkis' drops; Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Navya Nanda and others shower love
Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda, who made his debut with The Archies, is all set to act in 'Ikkis', a war drama, helmed by the renowned director, Sriram Raghavan. The movie producers formally revealed the film's release date — 2nd October, 2025, which is coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti.
In addition to this, a strong and captivating motion poster was also released, which shared a glimpse of the film's striking settings, with the viewers.
As the teaser dropped on the internet, social media was a buzz with support and love for the young actor. Many of the celebrities wished Agastya good luck on his upcoming movie.

who is rumoured to be dating Agastya, took to Instagram to share the teaser and dropped a heart and angel emoji along with it, showing her pride and happiness, while wishing and supporting the young actor.
Ananya Pandey, their close friend also pitched in to show her support and excitement. She shared the same poster on her Instagram story with a small, simple yet heartfelt caption, 'Aggy<3'
Navya Nanda, Agastya's sister reposted the poster with a patriotic and heartfelt caption. She wrote, '21 years old. One destiny. A nation behind him. Jai Hind.'

About the film
Set against the backdrop of 1971 India-Pakistan war, Ikkis follows the real life story of the brave Second Lieutenant, Arun Khetrapal. Arun was the youngest recipient of the esteemed Param Vir Chakra, who laid down his life for his country on the battlefield.
Speaking to PTI, Raghavan shared that the film will stay true to reality and won't dramatise Khetarpal's story in a superhero-like way. 'It's not a comic-book hero version," he said. The film skips over his early years and focuses on his time as a young soldier who gave his life for the country just after turning 21.
With internet buzz growing and close friends and family rallying behind him, Agastya Nanda is all set to step into the glamorous world of Bollywood with his much anticipated movie, Ikkis.

Piracy strikes again: TFCC lodges piracy plaint over leaks of 2 new films
Hyderabad: In a fresh blow to the Telugu film industry, two newly released films—HIT: The Third Case and #Single— fell victim to piracy within hours of their theatrical debut, prompting the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) to escalate the matter to Hyderabad cyber crimes police. The TFCC, through its anti-video piracy cell, alleged that high-definition pirated versions of the films were uploaded on notorious torrent sites, raising serious concerns about security lapses in the digital cinema distribution chain. The TFCC lodged a formal complaint with the cyber crimes police station in this regard. The complaint was filed by Yarra Manindra Babu, project head of TFCC's anti-video piracy cell. It details how pirated versions of both films appeared on various websites within hours of their theatrical release. HIT: The Third Case, starring Nani and directed by Sailesh Kolanu, was released on May 1, while #Single, featuring Sri Vishnu and directed by Caarthick Raju, hit theatres on May 9. An HD pirated copy of HIT: The Third Case surfaced online on the night of May 1 on platforms such as and Preliminary investigations suggest the leak may have originated from UFO Digital Cinema or one of its affiliated theatre chains. The producers had embedded advanced forensic watermarking in all digital cinema package copies to trace such leaks. Similarly, a camcorded version of #Single was found online shortly after its release, appearing on and However, the exact source of this leak remains undetermined. The TFCC emphasised the severe economic impact of piracy on the Telugu film industry, citing estimated losses of ₹3,700 crore in 2024. "Piracy not only undermines producers' investments but also endangers the livelihoods of thousands of families working in the industry," said Manindra Babu. The police registered a case under various provisions, including sections 66C and 66E of the IT Act, section 318(4) read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and sections 63 and 65 of the Copyright Act. A cyber crimes official confirmed that the TFCC has provided specific URLs hosting the pirated content and has urged prompt action to identify and prosecute the culprits. The organisation has also called for an inquiry into the possible role of digital service providers and theatre chains in the leaks. Both films are now available on OTT platforms. Kannan Ravi, the producer of director Vikram Sugumaran 's last released film 'Ravana Kootam', has now presented a cheque for Rs five lakh to the family members of the late director. Filmmaker Vikram Sugumaran, best known for his critically acclaimed directorial debut 'Madha Yaanai Kootam', passed away on Monday in Chennai following a cardiac arrest. He was 47. Sugumaran was on his way back from Madurai after narrating a new script to a producer when he experienced severe chest pain.
