‘Painful': AC/DC urged to ‘retire' after concert footage goes viral for all the wrong reasons
Concert footage from one of AC/DC's recent live shows has sparked fierce fan debate on social media, with some urging the legendary rockers to pack up their guitars for good.
AC/DC have been carving up stages in Europe and the US on their Power Up world tour in recent months, and they recently announced their Australian comeback that's set to go ahead later this year.
Sadly for the band, however, footage from their latest concert has left many Australian fans rethinking whether to purchase tickets to the show.
In a video that's gone viral on TikTok, Angus Young can be seen yelling into his microphone while dressed in an unbuttoned white shirt and blue velvet shorts.
Singer Brian Johnson then begins to sing, but at points, the crowd appears to be louder than the vocals from the stage.
'I was going to get tickets until I saw this,' commented one fan.
'I really wanted to see them this year.. now I don't, thank you for this,' remarked another disappointed fan.
A third replied to the video, saying: 'This is so painful. They just need to stop.'
'Gotta say, Angus is really pulling the load on this tour. They'll always be my favourite band by far, but I'm sitting out this tour,' complained another.
Hundreds of other comments echoed the same sentiment, with many urging the band to 'retire' and 'save their legacy' rather than continue to perform.
Despite the concerns from some fans, others said it would be silly to expect the rockers to be performing as well as they did back in their heyday.
'It's a old band of course their not going to be the same y'all don't have to say for them to stop doing what they like,' insisted one, while another added: 'Let them do what they want! I'll still go watch them to say I've seen them one final time.'
The legendary stadium rock kings will open the Power Up concerts at the MCG on November 12 before heading to Sydney's Accor Stadium on November 21, the bp Adelaide Grand Final on November 30, Perth's Optus Stadium on December 4 and Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on December 14.
The band sold more than 520,000 tickets when they last toured Australia on the Rock or Bust run in 2015.

Katy Perry has sparked fears from fans that she could struggle to finish the remaining dates on her Australian tour. Perry is currently in the middle of her Down Under tour and after sell-out shows on both sides of the country she's set to perform a string of shows in Adelaide. In footage obtained by 7NEWS Adelaide, the pop star could be seen stepping off her private jet before she took the time to meet some of her supporters who had come out to catch a glimpse of the pop idol. However, while chatting with fans she dropped a bombshell that has left some on social media concerned about their tickets to the remaining shows. A man asked the star if she was enjoying her stay in Australia as she signed autographs and posed for photos. 'Yes, but I got very sick last night. I'm trying not to get sick. I had a random fever,' the singer said in response. 'Hope Katy feels better soon! Touring's tough, and random fevers can hit anyone,' remarked on fan. 'She better not cancel!' complained another on TikTok. Perry has already played to sold-out arenas in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth during her Aussie visit. She is now due to arrive in Adelaide from Perth for her final Aussie dates, playing at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on June 26, 27, and 29. The mini-break in her tour comes as her long-term partner Orlando Bloom made his way Down Under amid reports the couple are on the rocks. He was snapped walking through the Perth CBD on Sunday ahead of Perry's show in the city, with their daughter on his shoulders. Perry, however, was nowhere to be seen. Earlier this month and several shows into the Australian tour, reports surfaced claiming that their nine-year relationship was all but done. 'It's over,' a source alleged to Page Six. 'They are waiting till her tour is over before they split.' Sources told People that stress over the poor reception of her new album, 143, has caused 'tension' in the stars' relationship. 'Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album,' a source said. 'It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.' Another source told the magazine: 'She was also disappointed in some of the tour reviews. It's put stress on their relationship.'
