Recalling the time when he had to keep the two huge secrets to himself, David revealed that 2023 was an intense time, according to People Magazine. 'She told me that she was pregnant two days after I found out I was going to screen test for Superman,' the 31-year-old actor said, before adding, 'For the first several months of her pregnancy, as is sort of protocol, we weren't telling anybody. We had these two quite huge secrets that we just had between the two of us.
And that was intense.'
David's wife, Julia, was originally supposed to give birth during the date that coincided with the early filming of the film in 2024. 'It was very close. It wasn't direct, but it was still very close. But it was just having to do two big unknown things at the same time. And they were both great things,' the 'Twisters' actor said.
Finding the lighter side of the situation, David humorously said that during Julia's pregnancy and his preparations, both of them gained 40 pounds each.
