Pakistan has fired 300-400 Turkish drones towards 26 Indian cities, which were all intercepted and destroyed by India's air defence systems that includes S-400 Sudarshan Chakra and Akash missile.

Meanwhile, multiple Indian drones were reportedly hovering over Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Lahore and Peshawar.
Let us look at the places where Pakistan's drone and missile debris were found.
Sirsa: Fatah 2 missile that Pakistan has reportedly slung at New Delhi was intercepted over Sirsa in Haryana. The missile debris has been found in Haryana.
Bathinda: Missile debris was found near Beed Talab in Bathinda. An announcement was made at the Gurdwara Sahib asking everyone to stay indoors.
Amritsar: Missile debris was found in Amritsar on Thursday, creating panic in the area. Locals heard blasts as India's air defence system shot down Pakistani missiles and drones. Reports suggest that the debris may be linked to an attempt to intercept a Chinese-designed rocket artillery system launched by Pakistan, following reports of explosions heard in Amritsar around 2 am on Thursday.
Hoshiarpur: A missile was found in the hilly area of Kamahi Devi in Hoshiarpur and local police rushed to the spot after receiving the information.
Pakistani drones were sighted at 26 locations along the International Border and LoC with Pakistan. The locations include Baramulla, Srinagar, Avantipora, Jammu, Nagrota, Lakhi Nala. An armed drone also targeted a civilian area in Ferozpur, resulting in multiple injuries to a local family.
A day earlier, after Indian air defence thwarted Pakistan's attempt to target civilian infrastructure along the LoC and International Border, Pakistani drones were again spotted over the Jammu, Samba, and Pathankot sectors on Friday.
India has a wide range of advance air defence systems, including the S-400 Triumf system and Akash-NG missile. Along with Israel, India has created the Barak 8 system, which can defend against threats from medium to long distances.

From appeasement to report card politics: BJP hails ‘new normal' under Modi govt

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday described the eleven years of the Modi government as transformational and the one that redefined and reshaped Indian politics. Addressing a press conference at the party HQs, BJP President J.P. Nadda said that in the past 11 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the culture of Indian politics, and it should be etched in the history books in golden letters. He said the Modi government has brought defining change in the country's politics and marked a decisive shift from -- politics of appeasement to the politics of report cards. 'This has become the new normal,' Nadda said. '11 years ago, appeasement and division of society on caste and religion were the political culture. But after 2014, a responsible government took charge under PM Modi, which started the politics of the report card,' he added. 'A remarkable transformation has taken place in the past eleven years. In the past, politics was often driven by appeasement politics, but that has now shifted to politics of performance, accountability, and responsible governance. This has now become the new normal,' he said. Nadda credited the Prime Minister for ushering in bold reforms across sectors and also for launching path-breaking initiatives like revoking Article 370 and Triple Talaq. 'Our government took bold and historic decisions in the national interest. We abrogated Article 370 and abolished Triple Talaq. We enacted a new Waqf Act and passed the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). We also ensured 33 per cent reservation for women in legislative bodies,' the BJP chief pointed out. He said that it is difficult to present a full account of 11 years of governance in a single press conference; however, he underscored that the gamut of visionary policies and bold reforms has laid the foundation of a developed and self-reliant India. He said that bold and transparent governance under PM Modi has laid the foundation for a futuristic administration, and this will pave the way for the realisation of the Viksit Bharat dream. The growing public sentiment of 'Modi hai tau mumkin hai' shows people's unflinching faith and confidence in PM Modi's leadership and reinforces the belief that even arduous tasks can be overcome under his stewardship, he opined. Nadda further underlined the government's unwavering commitment towards building Bharat of everyone's dreams and said that the mantra of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas' remains its governing principle.

Bilawal Bhutto-led Pakistani delegation in London for diplomatic outreach

A Pakistani delegation led by former Pakistan Foreign Minister and chairman of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari arrived in London on Sunday (June 9, 2025) night from Washington, as part of Islamabad's diplomatic outreach following recent hostilities between India and Pakistan. Islamabad's diplomatic exercise, comprising two delegations, was announced after New Delhi announced that it would send seven delegations to world capitals to convey its outrage on the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam in which 26 civilians, almost all Indian men, were shot dead by terrorists. India has also sought to explain 'Operation Sindoor', its retaliatory strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and the consequent armed conflict between the two countries. Both countries' delegations had overlapped last week in Washington. Pakistan is seeking international involvement in the conflict and a reversal of India's decision to hold the Indus Waters Treaty of 1960 in abeyance. The Pakistani delegation in London included three other former foreign ministers: Jalil Abbas Jilani, Khuran Dastagir Khan (Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz or PML-N) and Hina Rabbani Khar (PPP). It also included PPP vice-chair Sherry Rehman (PPP), Climate minister Musadik Masoor Malik (PML-N) and Adeel Mumtaz who directs the India desk at the Pakistani foreign ministry. Members of Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party were not part of the group. The delegation was scheduled to speak on-the-record at the think tank IISS. It was also scheduled to speak off the record on Monday morning at Chatham House, prior to the IISS event, and hold meetings at the U.K. Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) in the afternoon according to a source familiar with the delegation schedule. The delegation is expected to travel to Brussels after London. Ahead of their closed door bilateral discussions in New Delhi on Saturday, India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar had told his UK counterpart David Lammy that India practiced a 'zero tolerance policy' with regard to terrorism and 'expected its partners to understand it'. In London, Washington and other capitals, India's delegations had been keen to emphasise, last week, that there could be no equivalence between the perpetrators of terror and its victims. New Delhi has also pushed back against any third party intervention in the conflict between India and Pakistan, most notably U.S. President Donald Trump's repeated insistence that he brokered the May 10 ceasefire between the countries and used trade as leverage to achieve it. Mr Lammy remarks in a May 17 Reuters interview from Islamabad, in which he had said the U.K. and U.S. were working on an enduring ceasefire in the region, had raised eyebrows in New Delhi.
