Lar Park Lincoln, who is remembered as the conniving Linda Fairgate on CBS' Knots Landing, died from undisclosed causes on April 22. She was 63.
'It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lar Park Lincoln, celebrated actress, founder of Actors Audition Studios, and America's beloved Audition Coach, on April 22, 2025,' posted the Actors Audition Studios on Facebook. 'Over her 45-year career, Lar left an unforgettable mark on Hollywood through her dynamic performances and dedication to mentoring aspiring actors.'
Born Laurie Jill 'Lar' Lincoln on May 12, 1961 in Dallas, she joined the cast of Knots Landing in 1987 as the new wife of Eric Fairgate (Steve Shaw) and daughter-in-law of Michele Lee as Karen Fairgate MacKenzie. But, in time (and in typical soap opera fashion), Lincoln's Linda eventually left Eric for his brother Michael (Pat Petersen).
In 1988, Lincoln also played "Sally's Friend" in eight episodes of season 10 of Knots Landing. She exited the long-running series in 1991 after her Linda Fairgate character was abruptly killed off.

Lar Park Lincoln made her acting debut in the 1985 made-for-television movie Children of the Night. Following guest spots in TV dramas Heart of the City, Hunter and Outlaws, she played the leading role in the 1987 comedy film The Princess Academy. In 1988, she appeared in slasher film Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood.
Next were guest appearances in Murder, She Wrote, Space: Above and Beyond and Beverly Hills, 90210. After taking a break to focus on selling her own line of clothing on QVC, Lincoln returned to acting in 2005 in two episodes of the cop show parody City of Justice.
Other credits included horror films Sky Sharks (2020), 13 Fanboy (2021) and Rose Blood: A Friday the 13th Fan Film (2021), which continued the story of Tina Shepard, her character from Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood. Her last role was in 2022's Ghost Party.
Lar Park Lincoln is survived by her daughter Piper, son Trevor, sister Karen, brother Michael and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 14 years, Michael Lincoln, who died in December 2015.

JJJJound Transforms Its Packaging Into Artisan Lamps Crafted by Gyuhan Lee

JJJJound's latest collaboration departs from its fashion-focused projects to present a first-of-its-kind JJJJound lamp crafted by Korean artistGyuhuan Leeusing the label's packaging materials. Aiming to maximize the role of packaging materials beyond their usual function, the design's resourceful approach explores the intersection of branding, consumer culture, and centuries-spanning handicraft. Drawing from the grid proportions of minimalist architecture, the lamps boast a square shape and are offered in a short and a tall edition. When turned off, the lamps resemble mundane cardboard packages, but when turned on, a warm, soft glow transforms the lantern into a refined piece of collectible homeware. Lee, known for his refined pieces made from upcycled paper materials, utilized JJJJound's paper bags and box tape for the project. With his skills rooted in traditional Eastern craftsmanship, the artist layered JJJJound's materials with Korean Hanji paper, a historic textile applied to heritage interiors. The final result is a synthesis of contemporary mass-produced components and traditional craftsmanship, much in line with JJJJound's design practice, which often involves subtle, quality-focused updates to existing designs. In previous projects, Lee has utilized everything fromMcDonald'sHappy Meal bags,Nikeshoe boxes, andHermèsPlein Air blotting papers to create unique furniture pieces and lighting designs. His work represents a growing movement in design that adapts recognizable found and upcycled materials as components for new, imaginative objects. The JJJJound x Gyuhuan Leee lamps are set to drop June 5 at 12 PM EST.
