Taylor Swift RETURNS to social media to sweetly support Kobe Bryant's daughter Natalia

Daily Mail20-05-2025

Taylor Swift made a grand return to social media to support Kobe Bryant 's daughter Natalia as she celebrated her college graduation from the University of Southern California (USC) this past weekend.
The Grammy winner, 35, has been laying low and mainly staying out of the public eye following the conclusion of her Eras Tour and her boyfriend Travis Kelce 's loss at the Super Bowl in February.
However, fans were quick to notice that the star recently jumped to TikTok to like a short reel that Natalia, 22, shared.
The clip showed the college graduate posing with a few pals as they mouthed lyrics to Swift's track Nothing New, such as: 'How can a person know everything at 18 but nothing at 22? And will you still want me when I'm nothing new?'
Social media users flocked to the comment section to share their excitement over the Bad Blood songstress being active again on the platform.
One penned, 'So we all just stalking Taylor's likes,' and another wrote, 'TAYLOR LIKED IT, this is such a cute sign of life.'
'TAYLOR LIKED OMG SHES ACTIVE,' one shared, while a fan added, 'GUYS TAYLOR LIKED. SHES BACK ON TIKTOK.'
Another typed put, 'did taylor finally remember her tiktok password,' and one commented, 'Omg Taylor might be back.'
'TAYLOR LIKED THIS OMG,' a Swiftie wrote, while one also shared, 'Your video is the first one Taylor has liked in a yearrrr.'
Swift has mostly been staying out of the spotlight in recent months - but earlier this month, the star was spotted alongside Kelce as they grabbed a bite to eat with their families on Mother's Day.
Her last post on Instagram was uploaded in December 2024 at the end of her Eras Tour, while other fans pointed out that Taylor was last active on TikTok nearly one year ago.
Earlier this month, the singer was notably subpoenaed amid Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's publicized lawsuit.
Swift has been very close with the Bryant family for many years, and Kobe notably joined the Love Story singer on stage back in 2015 during her 1989 World Tour.
He died aged 41 in a helicopter crash in January 2020 alongside daughter Gianna, 13, and seven others.

Last year, the songstress donned a necklace that had been gifted by Kobe Bryant's widow Vanessa which is from the Mambacita x ZC capsule collection that dropped back in March 2022.
The gold-chained piece contains a small, circular pendant that has the late basketball player's famous quote engraved on the front: 'Bet on yourself.'
Not long after Swift's outing, Vanessa took to her Instagram stories to give a sweet shout out to the Grammy winner and reposted a story about the star donning the necklace.
She added a blue, heart-shaped emoji that had the words, 'We Love You Taylor' printed in the middle.
In 2023, Vanessa had shared a TikTok video originally posted by ESPN that had captured the moment when Kobe stepped in front of the cheering crowd to present Swift with a special banner.
And back in 2019, the late basketball player had also opened up about Swift during an interview on The Jordan Harbinger Show.
'She's a sweet kid. I mean, she was a sweetheart to my girls before she even blew up and became Taylor Swift.'
'So that's why I'll always, if she needs anything from me, I'm always there,' Kobe had expressed.
Following the tragic deaths of Kobe and Gianna Bryant, as well as seven other individuals in a deadly helicopter crash on January 26, 2020, Taylor paid an emotional tribute on X.
'My heart is in pieces hearing the news of this unimaginable tragedy. I can't fathom what the families are going through,' she had penned.
'Kobe meant so much to me and to us all. Sending my prayers, love, and endless condolences to Vanessa and the family and anyone who lost someone on that flight.'
Later that same year in the summer of 2020, the songstress gifted a cardigan to Vanessa and Kobe's eldest daughter, Natalia.
She had jumped to her own Instagram stories to share a picture of the piece of clothing and typed out, 'Thank you SO much @talorswift. I am OBSESSED with "folklore"!!!'
In August 2023, Vanessa and her daughters Natalia, Bianka, eight, and Capri, five, stopped by Swift's Eras Tour stop in Los Angeles.
The philanthropist shared memorable photos and clips from the special night, including the moment when Bianka was given the singer's hat during the performance.
Vanessa additionally shared a glimpse of a denim jacket that she had worn which included an image of Taylor and Kobe on stage together back in 2015.
During her graduation over the past weekend, Natalia notably honored her late father by wearing the 'Black Mamba' symbol over her heart.
The symbol was embroidered in gold on her red graduation sole above the words, 'School of Cinematic Arts.'
Natalia's sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, was printed on the left side and it was revealed she had graduated Cum Laude - which is for students who achieved a GPA between 3.50 to 3.74.
During a past interview with Entertainment Tonight, she explained that her college experience was 'pretty normal.'
She added, 'We've been able to find the best friends and been able to establish a good, core group.'
While talking to Town & Country last year, the college graduate discussed her dreams of working in the entertainment industry.
'I think it's fun to have my foot in both [fashion and film] worlds. They're both collaborative, and you meet so many different people... It makes the world feel smaller,' she stated.
The model also opened up about what she wanted her 'legacy' to be during her interview with the outlet.
'In terms of legacy, my main goal is just to be the best version of me that I possibly can and understanding that there's no expectation that I should have for each stage of life.'
Bryant continued, 'I just need to know that I have to keep learning, because there's no finish line.
'You just have to keep pushing and being the best person you can be and soaking everything up like a sponge...The job's never done.'

Final warning to Amazon Fire TV Stick owners as hugely popular app to stop working TOMORROW

A FINAL warning has been given to Amazon Fire TV Stick owners as a hugely popular app is set to stop working tomorrow. Anyone with an old Fire TV Stick plugged into their television might need to upgrade today. 3 It's been confirmed that the popular Netflix app will stop working on several devices tomorrow as the service has been blocked. But before you panic about losing access to your favourite shows this update only affects certain Fire devices released in 2014. Netflix said: "We will be discontinuing support for some first-generation Fire TV devices, which were introduced more than 10 years ago." That means, as long as you have something relatively new in your home, you should be fine. As the company confirmed: "Netflix remains available on all other Fire TV devices." The shutdown affects the first-generation Fire TV box, Fire TV Stick, and Fire TV Stick with Alexa voice remote - Amazon's oldest telly products. All of these models are all more than a decade old. Amazon quit support for the devices several years ago - meaning they no longer receive software or security updates. But if you still use your OG Fire Stick, you should have received an email from Netflix warning of the upcoming change, according to PC World. The first-generation Fire TV devices will continue to work as they have done - simply without Netflix. Netflix unveils first TV make-over in 10 years for millions of viewers They have all the other apps, such as BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, Prime Video and Disney+ - for now. However, it's worth noting that like Netflix, other platforms may too decide to pull their services from ageing tech later down the line. Affected viewers who want to continue having uninterrupted access to Netflix will have to buy a newer Fire TV gadget - or a telly streaming rival like a Roku Stick or Google Streamer. If you don't want to upgrade to a new Fire TV device, you should cancel your subscription, to avoid paying fees on something you can't watch. A report from CordBusters noted that the decision was likely put down to newer video standards. When streaming services start using newer technology, older devices may not have the necessary hardware or software to support the advancements. That's why some gadgets stop receiving new features, or are unable to stream in 4K picture quality. Meanwhile, Amazon Fire Stick users have been warned of a shock £1,000 fine for using new feature. Plus anyone in the market for a smart TV should have Sky Glass and Amazon's Fire Omni TV on their radar. And we've put both of them head-to-head to help you decide which will work best for you - read on to find out more.

Sir Rod Stewart forced to CANCEL major show as fans left concerned for his health

SIR Rod Stewart has been forced to cancel a major show with fans left concerned for his health. The rocker, 80, was due to play at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas tonight. 1 Taking to social media, the Maggie May singer wrote: "I am sorry to inform you that I'm not feeling well and my show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is being rescheduled to June 10. "Your tickets will be valid for the new date. Sir Rod." Fans flocked to the comments to send their well-wishes to the star following the announcement. One wrote: "Hope you feel better soon, travelled from the UK especially to see the show tonight. Gutted is an understatement. Going home in two days, so can't make the rescheduled date." Another said: "I'm here and disappointed but more concerned that you stay well." A third added: "You're a legend and a treasure, so please look after yourself." A fourth weighed in: "We love you dude, please take a night." Sir Rod has dates lined up all over the world this year, including the Legends slot at Glastonbury later this month. He recently revealed he fears he will die if he gives up touring. He said: "I enjoy going out on tour now more than I've ever done at this ripe old age of 80. "I'm doing seven concerts in Vegas and then I am everywhere around the world. "I'm playing Athens, Germany, three nights in Buenos Aires, two nights in Rio, it goes on and on and on. "It keeps me fit. You have got to be fit to do it. "I would probably die if I didn't do it. I have seen so many guys that have to give up their career and retire and they have got nothing to wake up in the morning for. "I don't know what they do with themselves. They must get up and go 'What do I do today? Down the betting shop? Have a drink?' I don't know."
