It is one of Harris' largest stretches of coast and also one of the most jaw-dropping shorelines, even earning it a spot among the UK's top beaches as per the TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Awards. People who live on this remote island are proud to call it home, especially when they can enjoy the beach year-round – often without crowds of tourists.
A woman named Caz took to TikTok to show off the beach's beauty in a video, leaving viewers wondering if they're looking at Scotland or a much sunnier destination.
"Scotland? Or the Caribbean?" Caz wrote on the video before sharing clips of her and her friends enjoying a day at the beach.
The video included shots of them all diving into the crystal-clear water and playing football on the shore.
The Isle of Harris has been basking in a spell of good weather, boasting sun-soaked days with warmer temperatures in the run-up to summer.
This welcome change has allowed residents to spend time on their beach ahead of the busy tourist season in the peak of summer.
The video capturing these sunny scenes garnered over 2.5million views in just three days, prompting some viewers to fantasise about enjoying the beach themselves.
However, some remained sceptical about the location of the beach, as they couldn't quite believe it was right on their doorstep.
"This is not Scotland," one person said, while another asked: "Where the hell are you finding beaches like this in Scotland."
Nevertheless, the doubts were quickly put to rest by several people who had visited Luskentyre themselves. These visitors were quick to share their own experiences of the beautiful beach.
"Luv Luskentyre beach it's gorgeous xx," declared one fan, while another added: "Scotland! I live in Scotland and me and family went there at one point! Gorgeous place!"
"Just remember, that water is cold enough to send you into shock if you're not careful," said another. Meanwhile someone else chimed in with, "Might look like Caribbean but temp is far from it."

A Scottish travel vlogger has flown on India's ' worst-rated airline' and has urged people to ignore one thing - and that's its low rating. Going viral in one of his latest videos, the Scotsman told his followers that he is 'catching a one-hour flight with India's worst-rated airline, which is IndiGo". Revealing it "ranks 103 out of 109 in the world", showing a screenshot of AirHelp's website ranking, he says that this is "pretty bad, but I want to see how bad they really are". Hugh, or HughAbroad as he's known, has amassed millions of followers across his social media platforms—including TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram — and consistently gets millions of views on each video on TikTok alone. Heading to Bengaluru, formerly called Bangalore, he said the plane ticket cost him 3,760 Indian rupees, which is the equivalent of £34 or $44. He revealed that for this price, you get 20kg of luggage and a chicken sandwich on board. With his window seat secured, he checked in and dropped off his bags - all of which was an easy process with no issues. When it came to boarding the plane, the Scots traveller was left shocked, wondering why it's ranked so low. 'Usually with these cheap airlines you go on the tarmac and up the stairs but here there's a tunnel straight in," he noted. Filming his seating area, he said: "Spotless. Really, really clean and the leg room is pretty good. There's literally no rubbish at all down here, just the usual magazine and safety instructions. The seat is relatively comfortable as well." Giving it the thumbs up, he said: "Pretty good so far. I don't see why this is rated the worst airline in India - no complaints.' After taking off, he gave an update and still didn't see any issues. "Only seven minutes after the estimated departure time, we have taken off. Impressive." "So far IndiGo, so good," he added, noting that despite coming in at 103rd place, it was on time and that the plane was clean, the seat went back: "What's not to like? Also very, very, affordable.' Speaking about his Chicken Junglee sandwich, he said that the "bread is very fresh, fluffy and inside that chicken is pretty moist with the mayonnaise". He rated the sandwich seven out of 10. 'So far, this has been the best experience I could've ever imagined, nothing has gone wrong" he said. Within an hour, he landed and praised the airline yet again. He concluded his airline review by saying: "That honestly was an absolute fantastic experience and if anyone tells you anything negative about IndiGo, they are lying. I'm rating that at 10 out of 10 - flawless honestly for a budget airline that was spot on." Speaking to the Daily Record, Hugh said: "I was shocked at how low IndiGo was on the rankings, as it's one of the best budget airline experiences I've had. On time, clean, spacious and affordable. I think the rankings need to be taken with a pinch of salt, to be honest." According to the Hindustan Times: "IndiGo has been ranked among the 'world's worst airlines' in the 2024 AirHelp Score report, securing 103rd place out of 109 with a score of 4.80. The low rating is attributed to underwhelming customer satisfaction and poor handling of flight disruption claims. "Responding to the ranking, IndiGo criticised the methodology, saying the survey does not disclose the sample size from India, casting doubt on the survey's credibility. "Conducted by AirHelp, an EU-based claim processing agency, the survey evaluates airlines globally on punctuality, quality of service, and handling of compensation claims. These criteria, weighed equally, form the overall score. The analysis covers data from January to October, incorporating on-time performance, customer claims processing, and feedback from passengers across 54 countries on food, comfort, and service." American busker in UK trying to earn cash to get home makes just £5 profit

Blake Robert, who is known on social media as @theblakerobert, landed in the UK with just a suitcase and his guitar. Without a penny in his pocket, he aims to earn enough money busking on the streets of the UK to not only support himself while he's in the country but to also fund his plane ticket home. He has been documenting his challenge on his TikTok channel, sharing exactly how much money he made in Bath on day three of his challenge. In his video, he said: "I flew to the UK with no money and now I'll have to survive off the money I make playing my guitar." After attending an open-mic night in Bath, he met up with a group of buskers to decide when and where he can play his music in the town centre. He says the meet every morning to determine who get what spot to give each artist an opportunity to show off their talents while earning money for their performances. The meeting concluded with him playing in three locations around that - with the first being right outside Bath Abbey. At this location, he made £24, $5 (£3.70) and was also gifted a punnet of green grapes. Just 15 minutes later, he was on to his next location slightly around the corner in Abbey Churchyard. He says he only made £1 because it started to rain during his second set as everyone dodged the downpour in nearby shops, cafes and restaurants. Finally, set up on Stall Street, he made £18 and pulled in a small crowd who supported his music with praise and a dance. Hungry and tried, he ended up spending £15.25 on a steak and ale pie before booking himself into a £22 hotel, leaving him with only a £5.75 profit for the day providing he didn't buy anything else and excluding his $5. Commenting on his video, one user said: "Very bold move coming to the UK with no money but basically I'm really enjoying the content so keep it coming."
