TOXIC PALS Inside bitter Real Housewives of Cheshire feud – as Christine McGuinness is 'betrayed' by co-star bestie
IT'S long been one of the more desirable parts of the country for the rich and famous - with its stunning mansions, pricey boutiques and fine dining.
But we can reveal Cheshire has become a toxic playground for its reality TV housewives and a new bitter betrayal is set to stir things up, with Christine McGuinness at the centre of it all.

Christine and Tanya were incredibly close on the show
The ex-wife of TV star Paddy, who enjoyed a brief stint on the reality show between 2018-2020, is at loggerheads with her former bestie Tanya Bardsley and the pair are no longer speaking.
Insiders tell us the pair had a devastating falling out last year - and things have turned so ugly that friends say 'there is no way back'.
A source told us: 'Christine was always really supportive of Tanya through her mental health struggles but she feels like Tanya ditched her and wasn't there for her when she has been going through her own stuff.'
During their time on Real Housewives, Christine was seen helping Tanya navigate a difficult period, which sources say has made the betrayal even more heart-wrenching for the star.
She told Manchester Evening News at the time: 'I understand mental illness quite a lot.
'I have been there myself with anxiety and depression. I know how it feels - certainly after I had children.
'She was having a difficult time and she tried to come off the meds and that didn't do her any good.
'Seeing Tanya in that way really touched me. I would never want anyone to feel like she felt.'
But fast forward two years and that close bond has been completely shattered.

The insider added: 'The last straw was when Tanya poached her best mate Catherine to work for her.'
Following Christine's split from Paddy McGuinness, she grew very close to Catherine Farrell.
The pair even launched a clothing business together - We are HER - which no longer appears to be trading.
But now Catherine is very close to Tanya and has appeared on her new reality show, as well as going into business with her.
The pair have created Haus of CEO - a studio to create content and podcasts.
The move is said to have completely blindsided Christine, who feels like she has been pushed to her limit by it all.

On her new reality show - The Bardsley Bunch - Tanya gushes about her friendship with Catherine, saying they have been close for a " very long time".
But just a couple of years ago, it was Christine singing her praises.
Writing at length about her friendship, Christine said: "I always struggled to make friends and didn't really socialise much at all until my late 20s.
"I'm lucky now to have a handful of people to call my friend.
"Thank you Cath for being there recently, more than ever I needed you and you showed up every time. Here's to many more meltdowns!
"More play dates with our babies and hopefully some holidays."
She followed up the post by adding: "I appreciate you."
Christine has now erased all traces of Catherine from her life after being left heartbroken by what she believes is shocking deception.
The fall out is set to cause huge ructions within the community, which on the surface appears close knit.
Friends have said how relieved they are this hasn't all played out on screen because they think it would have caused friction beyond repair.
There have been huge busts up between Lauren Simon and Paige Chohan, Hanna Kinsella and Ester Dee, as well as Missé Beqiri and Ampika Pickston to name a few.
An insider from the area told us: 'These rows might have been on screen but they are all very real and it's not uncommon for people to bicker in the area.
'These are some of the most successful people in the country all living in the same place - it's really no surprise that tensions and rivalries run high.'
One of the biggest fallouts to date however was between Leanne Brown and Dawn Ward.
The pair fell out over a dispute about money - it has been reported that Leanne and Wes loaned Dawn £500,000, which she didn't pay back for some time.

Leanne told The Sun during the time of the fallout: "Our friendship has gone down the pan. I won't ever speak to Dawn again.
Adding: "I don't trust her and, when someone has hurt you that deep, there is no going back."
Things were so bad that Leanne accused Dawn - the wife of former Manchester City and Barnsley player Ashley Ward - of driving her close to a nervous breakdown.
Leanne Brown had another epic co-star fall-out with Magali Gorre back in 2019.
She accused Magali - married to former footballer Dean Gorre - of attacking her in a restaurant toilet over a comment made in a reunion show.
Businesswoman Magali, who left RHOC in March 2016, was allegedly upset that Leanne had claimed she "loved a freebie" and referred to her as a "nightmare".
A source claimed Leanne "ran out of the toilets as quickly as she could" after the fight broke out, and called the police.
Since leaving the show Leanne has divorced from her husband of 25 years - Wes, who has now been declared bankrupt.

Dawn's comeback is going to spark some serious drama

Dawn and Leanne are both now set for an explosive comeback to the reality show, which is said to have left the other castmates feeling anxious.
An insider said: 'Dawn and Leanne really did have a serious falling out. It's not just a bit of fun, so things could end up getting nasty.
'Everyone is feeling pretty apprehensive about it all and what drama it will cast over Cheshire once again. Dawn doesn't take any prisoners and it could be carnage.'
They added: 'Cheshire certainly may look picture perfect, but like anywhere it's not without its pitfalls.'

Bethenny Frankel BLASTS 'miserable' Joy Behar for ripping apart her breasts following SI Swimsuit runway walk

Bethenny Frankel called out Joy Behar for ripping apart her appearance on national television after recently walking the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show. In her latest Instagram post, the former Real Housewives of New York City star, 54, sat outside in a straw hat and a white bralette top as she shared her reaction to the 82-year-old comedian's recent comments about her. 'So, Joy Behar took a swipe at me on The View. Whoopi [Goldberg] mentioned that I was talking about the show saying that none of us looked that way that we looked two hours prior, it took a lot of work and glam team,' Bethenny said. She continued: 'And Joy's response was "I appreciate her candor, but she has fake boobs.' The Skinny Girl mogul also shared that her breasts are real, but credited their high and perky appearance to a breast lift that she got '15-20 years ago.' 'These are a lift from like 15-20 years ago, I had very large, big boobs in high school that were saggy, floppy and this is actually a lift, Joy,' the mother-of-one clarified. Bethenny went on to say that one thing The View does is shows that women in their 40s, 50s and older 'can live their lives freely with happiness and with joy and we're not washed up miserable older women.' 'And I actually feel sorry for Joy that she hasn't lived her life or doesn't seem to be living her life with any joy. 'Because you have to be really miserable to take a swipe at something that is literally self-deprecating and literally leveling the playing field saying yeah, we all look like this but we had a lot of work that day. Bethenny was just getting warmed up in her rant and criticized Behar for kicking her when she was down. 'Sadly Joy is painting the picture of the older seemingly miserable washed up woman that all of us are trying to show we aren't,' Bethenny said. 'So you keep being happy, you keep living your life, you keep being the example of a woman of a certain age that you would be proud of. She concluded: 'And we have women like Joy Behar that remind us who we don't want to be. Have a good day.' Her post comes just a week after wowing the world on the catwalk in a slew of revealing swimsuits in Miami Beach. She left little to the imagination during the show, flaunting her incredibly toned physique in a barely-there polka dot bikini with a thong bottom at one point. Fans were left in awe of her svelte figure, and many couldn't help but wonder what the reality star has been doing both diet and fitness-wise to look that good. Thankfully, Bethenny spoke exclusively with about how she stays in shape. And though people may be begging her for her workout routine, it actually turns out that she doesn't hit the gym - at all. 'I don't work out. I just stay active in ways that feel natural - walking, moving, living. I don't force it,' she dished. 'I walk. That's my main form of movement.' Bethenny explained that having a 'healthy relationship with food and exercise' is what keeps her body looking so fit. 'I self-regulate,' she continued. 'Sometimes I'm super active and eat clean, and sometimes I rest and indulge. 'I go through phases, like everyone, but I always come back to center. It's about balance, not extremes.' She revealed that for 10 days leading up to the show, she made an extra 'effort to care for herself.' 'I slept more, ate well, stayed hydrated, and created space to just feel good,' explained the star. 'It wasn't about "getting ready" for a moment - it was about being good to myself.' As for her skin routine, she revealed that she believes the 'key' to keeping her complexion youthful is 'consistency.' 'I keep it consistent - that's key. I cleanse, tone, use a vitamin C serum, layer on rich creams, SPF, and I rotate in masks, exfoliation, and deep cleansing,' she added. 'I stick to what works and do it regularly.'

Sunday Brunch in chaos as star 'pulls out' last minute and replacement is found

Sunday Brunch faced chaos moments before going live after one artist was seemingly replaced at the last minute Sunday Brunch was thrown into chaos before going on-air after rocker Yungblud, who is no stranger to the programme, unexpectedly didn't turn up for his scheduled slot. In what seemed like a last-minute upset, the no-show occurred despite the artist being advertised on the TV guide as one of the day's guests for the live show that went out on Sunday, 8th June. ‌ The official Channel 4 summary promised viewers appearances by "Tim Peake, Ben McKenzie, Sian Gibson, and Professor Green. With music from Yungblud." ‌ Traditionally, musicians set to perform towards the end of the broadcast are seated at the table with other guests before their performance during the rolling credits, yet Yungblud's absence was stark. Not only did he miss his spot at the table of celebrities, but it also appeared that his space was swiftly taken over by Jerub, an indie-pop sensation who managed to fill in at what was probably the eleventh-hour, reports the Manchester Evening News. Oddly enough, the show's details failed to mention Jerub, and neither Tim Lovejoy nor Simon Rimmer, the hosts, offered any explanation regarding the sudden change or discussed why Yungblud wasn't there. While chatting on the couch with Lovejoy and Rimmer, Jerub acknowledged that it had been a "tight squeeze" to rearrange his schedule to appear in the studio, revealing how excited he was to "make it work" following the producers' call. ‌ Jerub disclosed that he initially intended to come from Leeds, but owing to some "trains being cancelled", he was compelled to travel frantically "by car" to ensure he made it to Channel 4 on time. Tim expressed his gratitude for the guest's presence, remarking: "It's a wonder that you made it here, really, isn't it?" but refrained from elaborating on the circumstances further. ‌ As the show wrapped up, Jerub stepped into the spotlight to perform his latest track, Deeper, captivating viewers with his vocal talent. The audience seemed unfazed by any changes in the programme, instead flocking to Twitter to praise the touching finale delivered by Jerub. One admirer tweeted: "What a song. What a beautiful voice, a beautiful ending to Sunday Brunch from Jerub #SundayBrunch." Another simply shared their awe: "#sundaybrunch wow," while yet another new fan declared: "Jerub is a new find! Love him! #SundayBrunch." Sunday brunch airs every Sunday on Channel 4, from 10am and can be streamed via My4.
