The latest moon sighting has confirmed that Arafat Day will fall on Thursday June 5, with the first day of Eid Al Adha to follow on Friday June 6.
This means we're in for a four-day long weekend, so what are you going to do with the time off?

What to do during the long Eid weekend in Dubai
Be dazzled at a DREAM show

The dinner show will be running a special selection of acts for two weeks spanning from Wednesday June 4 to Sunday June 15 and you need to be in the front row.

Explore Green Planet

The indoor rainforest is hone to over 3,000 plants and animals, so try and count them all while you enjoy the Eid Al Adha celebrations.
As well as complimentary henna and face painting, there will also be a live Oud player and an arts and crafts station for the little ones to try after they've had a meet and greet with a millipede or two.

Feast at Walima

The buffet-style restaurant at the Grand Mercure Dubai City is throwing quite the feast on Friday June 6, where you can fill your plate for only Dhs175.

From Friday June 6 to Sunday June 8, the community mall will be packed with free events for the little ones, including a live show from Magic Phil, teddy bear workshops, face painting, storytelling and even a sing-along or two.

Try a brand new box of cookies

Visit RIVERLAND Dubai
The entertainment attraction is offering up all-day entertainment, from a ride along the Riverland boat, archery and axe throwing or even a dinosaur parade.

A guide on what to eat and where to go in Abu Dhabi this Eid Al Adha
If you're looking to make the most of the long weekend without hopping on a plane or going full tourist mode, Abu Dhabi's got plenty up its sleeve. This Eid Al Adha, the capital is dialling things up with a fun mix of concerts, cultural experiences, family brunches and special deals you just won't be able to say no to. It's going to be a mini getaway where the whole crew gets entertained. And yes, the little ones are well taken care of. Here's your guide to what's on, what to eat, where to go, and why it's all worth a try. Cultural experiences you cannot miss If you're after something meaningful this Eid, cultural activations are popping up across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra. There are lots of foodie and cultural experiences, like the chance to feast on a traditional Emirati meal in a majlis setting at House of Artisans and get your henna done and more. Family-friendly entertainment await Etihad Arena is bringing Disney Jr. Live! to Yas Island for two days only on Friday June 7 and Saturday June 8. Art lovers can swing by the Louvre Abu Dhabi to catch the final days of the Kings and Queens of Africa exhibition, which wraps up on Saturday June 8. Over in Al Ain, there's also some fun to be had.
