Tasmania on election watch as premier heads to Government House

Speculation is mounting an election could be called in Tasmania, with Premier Jeremy Rockliff understood to be on his way to Government House.
Mr Rockliff lost the Labor-led motion 17 votes to 18 last week, but has refused to relinquish the job of premier.
After meeting with Premier Rockliff on Tuesday night, Governor Barbara Baker said she would be "taking the time necessary to give due consideration to all available options".
Those options include agreeing to an election, asking a new Liberal leader to test their numbers on the floor of parliament, or requesting Labor to attempt to form a minority government, which could include the Greens and crossbench members.
Labor leader Dean Winter met with Governor Baker on Wednesday afternoon at her request.
Following the meeting, Mr Winter said he "reiterated my position that Labor will not be doing a deal with the Greens".
