Alabama basketball's gauntlet to end the 2024-25 regular season continues on Tuesday.
The No. 6 Crimson Tide (22-5, 11-3 SEC) take on No. 24 Mississippi State (19-8, 7-7) at 9 p.m. ET (8 p.m. CT) at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Nate Oats and Alabama are on their third straight of seven ranked opponents to close the season.
Alabama is coming off a 96-83 win over No. 21 Kentucky on Saturday, snapping a brief two-game losing streak, including losses to No. 2 Auburn and No. 16 Missouri. The Crimson Tide enter the game tied with Florida (11-3) for second place in the SEC, trailing Auburn by two games.

Meanwhile, Mississippi State is coming off a tough road loss, 93-87, to Oklahoma on Saturday. The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for the Bulldogs, which were coming off wins over No. 19 Ole Miss and No. 7 Texas A&M. Mississippi State is in eighth place in the SEC standings, entering the final stretch.
Alabama defeated Mississippi State 88-84 in Starkville, Mississippi, on Jan. 29. The Crimson Tide have won seven straight over the Bulldogs. MSU's last win in the series was a 78-76 win on Jan. 15, 2022, in Starkville.
