Cowboys' Micah Parsons Announces Major Statement originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Micah Parsons being in and out of Dallas Cowboys OTAs wasn't the biggest of deals, with the All-Pro making his way to The Star after the most recent practice.

But with his contract situation still not resolved, all eyes are on mandatory mini-camp next week and whether or not "The Lion" will be in attendance.
"I expect to see him," head coach Brian Schottenheimer said.
And now Micah himself has confirmed his attendance via X regardless of whether a deal is done or not.
"I will be there! I haven't missed a mini camp in 4 years! Even though the contract is not done, I have teammates and a playbook ! I'm preparing as if I will be on the field the first week of camp! But it's in the owner's hands. I'm ready to win a Super Bowl !"

Cue a collective sigh of relief with perhaps Dallas' best player not letting his contract situation interfere with his football.

Of course, in an ideal world, Dallas and Micah would come to terms sooner rather than later, but with Parsons expected to fetch a contract around $40 million APY, Jerry Jones stated that No. 11 must be the player he wants to be paid like.
And that means showing up for work.
Which Parsons has done to a degree during OTAs, and now he's confirmed he'll be at The Star next week for the mandatory portion of this early offseason work.
Part of a new-look leadership group, Parsons knows the value of being there for his teammates and to learn a new playbook.
So with or without a contract, Micah will be present next week.

'WWE Raw' Star Isn't Returning Anytime Soon Amid Serious Injury
'WWE Raw' Star Isn't Returning Anytime Soon Amid Serious Injury originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Don't expect one injured "WWE Raw" superstar to return to TV anytime soon. Throughout the wrestling industry, injuries have derailed several plans and have halted careers. AEW fans continue to wait for Eddie Kingston to make his return after he suffered a torn ACL and meniscus, as well as a tibial fracture. Future WWE Hall of Famer Asuka has been out of action for a year due to a knee injury, and she reportedly isn't ready to return. Advertisement There is another name who isn't expected to be back in the fold in the near future. Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reports that Zoey Stark will likely miss "WrestleMania" season in 2026 due to her serious knee injury. Stark suffered the injury during an MITB qualifier on the May 19 episode of "Monday Night Raw." Zoey Stark delivers a clothesline to Ivy Nile during a "WWE Raw" match.(via WWE) Stark shared the ring with Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane in a triple threat. Stark attempted a springboard missile dropkick on Sane, but she landed awkwardly. The former Pure Fusion Collective member immediately grabbed her knee and yelled out in pain. Stark had to be carried to the backstage area and couldn't complete the match. It's the same knee that Stark injured back in 2021. She tore her ACL and meniscus during a triple threat tag team ladder match on the "Halloween Havoc" edition of "NXT." Stark was back in the ring in less than a full year. Advertisement Stark's in-ring abilities didn't suffer after recovering from her first knee surgery. Many are wondering if the "WWE Raw" superstar can have the same recovery success this go-around. WWE Adds Huge Match to 'SmackDown' Prior to MITB 2025
WWE Adds Huge Match to 'SmackDown' Prior to MITB 2025 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. WWE has announced a huge match for "Friday Night SmackDown," which will be the go-home episode before "Money in the Bank 2025." Advertisement WWE is closing in on its last PLE before the big "SummerSlam" two-night special. The participants in both the men's and women's MITB ladder matches have been determined. On the women's side, Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Roxanne Perez, Naomi, and Alexa Bliss have all qualified. A new video announcement from "SmackDown" general manager Nick Aldis revealed that all six women will be involved in tag team action on Friday. It'll be Ripley teaming with Vaquer and Bliss to take on Naomi, Perez, and Giulia. Three of the stars featured in the match are from the "Monday Night Raw" brand. It's a rare "SmackDown" appearance for Ripley, who has become one of WWE's biggest stars on Monday nights. This will also be the "SmackDown" debut of Vaquer, who recently joined the main roster after a brief run in "NXT." Advertisement Friday's episode of the blue brand will emanate from the Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield. In addition to the match announcement, "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso have been confirmed for the show, along with John Cena and Logan Paul. You can also expect to hear from the "Raw" and "SmackDown" participants in the men's MITB ladder match. 3 Things WWE Fans Should Watch for During 'Money in the Bank 2025'
3 Things WWE Fans Should Watch for During 'Money in the Bank 2025' originally appeared on Athlon Sports. WWE is making last-minute preparations ahead of "Money in the Bank 2025," and there are some things to watch for. Advertisement Ahead of the go-home episode of "SmackDown," WWE has just four matches booked for the MITB card. The men's and women's ladder matches take up two spots on the card. Then, there's the big tag team match that will see Cody Rhodes tagging with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso to take on Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul. The WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship will be on the line. Following their heavily praised match at "Backlash," titleholder Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch will collide once again. Lynch has demanded that her former protégé raise her hand after the match if she becomes the new champion. Despite just four matches being planned for MITB, there's a lot for fans to look forward to. Plenty of questions will be answered on Saturday. A Seth Rollins Win Is Too Obvious? Paul Heyman aligns with Seth Rollins at the conclusion of "WWE WrestleMania 41" Saturday.(via WWE) Seth Rollins is a major favorite going into the men's MITB match. It makes sense, given that WWE has been making "The Visionary's" new faction look strong on the "Raw" brand. Rollins has backup in Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed if things go awry at "Money in the Bank 2025." Advertisement The question is, would a win for Rollins be too obvious? CM Punk has vowed to do everything in his power to ensure that Rollins doesn't win a world title again. Sami Zayn is aligned with Punk in the fight against Rollins, Paul Heyman, Breakker, and Reed. Punk and Zayn missed out on their chance to compete in the MITB match thanks to Rollins and his group. Is it time for payback? Proceed With Caution Naomi ambushes Jade Cargill following her match with Liv Morgan on "WWE SmackDown.(via WWE) Naomi has done wonders for herself with this character change. She has become obsessed with Bianca Belair, and there's a big match involving the two to be made once the "EST" is cleared to return to action. While Naomi has personal rivalries that haven't been completed, she's also competing in the women's MITB match. Advertisement Looking at the list of participants on the women's side, Naomi might make the most sense to walk out of the Intuit Dome with the briefcase. Naomi's character has a strong unpredictability trait, which could make her the top choice to obtain a world title opportunity whenever she chooses. While the other reported favorite to win the match is Rhea Ripley, she hasn't exactly needed a briefcase to remain in the title picture. Becky Lynch Holds Gold Again? Becky Lynch explains her decision to attack Lyra Valkyria during an episode of "WWE Raw."(via WWE) Becky Lynch gave Lyra Valkyria perhaps the best match of her young career at "Backlash." Valkyria scored the win, but Lynch attacked her after the match. Lynch has vowed to never face Valkyria for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship again if she loses on Saturday. Advertisement It's hard to envision Lynch losing to Valkyria twice in a row. The champion needs to face some adversity in this storyline, and a title loss would be the clear choice to get there. WWE could be setting up for a future title match between Lynch and Bayley, who was injured by "The Man" just before "WrestleMania 41."
