The Israeli enemy "Kan" channel published new details Friday, regarding Khan Yunis ambush, which resulted in the killing of four Israeli soldiers and the wounding of several others this morning.
Details of the Khan Yunis ambush, as published by the Israeli "Kan" channel:
- Details of the Khan Yunis ambush: During an attack launched by the 98th Division near the town of Bani Suheila, soldiers from the "Maglan" unit entered at 6:00 AM to search a building located within a Hamas compound.
- As the fighters entered the building, a powerful explosive device exploded, causing part of the building to collapse on top of them, trapping the soldiers under the rubble.
- Four soldiers were killed at the scene: three from the "Yahalom" unit (the special engineering unit) and another soldier from the "Maglan" unit. One soldier was seriously wounded, four soldiers were moderately wounded, and several others were lightly wounded.
The injured were evacuated to hospitals by helicopter within a short time, while the bodies continued to be recovered from under the rubble for hours, with the assistance of Home Front Command crews.
The Israeli enemy army announced Friday, the deaths of four soldiers from the elite Maglan and Combat Engineering units during violent clashes in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli enemy army said in a statement that four of its soldiers were killed and five others were wounded, including two in critical condition. It did not disclose further details about the circumstances of the incident or the names of the dead.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip, killing 54,677 civilians, the majority of whom were children and women, and wounding 125,530 others. This is a preliminary toll, as a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
