Who is in the Britain's Got Talent final after golden buzzer twist?
Britain's Got Talent (BGT) has been putting acts through after its first semi-final.
The finalists will compete in the hotly-anticipated live final in May. The winner will get the chance to perform at The Royal Variety Show attended by King Charles as well as a £250,000 cash prize. Last year's winner was singer Sydney Christmas.
Britain's Got Talent was supersized this year, seeing the live semi-finals taking place over six Saturdays instead of back-to-back over a week. The golden buzzer twist has stirred up some controversy, where one act can be sent into the final by the judges.
Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli returned to their judging panel for the semi-final at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, London over the weekend. Guest judge KSI will return to the series at a later date.
The first live show was at times chaotic, with the main surprise seeing eight-year-old magician Teddy Magic pull out last minute but TV bosses hope he will return to perform at one of the later semi-finals.
So who are the acts who have made it through to the final?
Stacey Leadbeatter secured her place in the final after winning the backing of the public vote in the live semi-final.
The singer stunned the audiences at home with her performance of Anyone by Demi Lovato.

Going into the semi-final, she said winning would leave her speechless. "I can't even begin to put into words what it would mean to me if I was lucky enough to be crowned the winner," she said.
"But it would be the biggest and best moment of my life other than the birth of my little girl. I have watched BGT since the first show and it would be like a full circle moment."
It's not only the audience choosing who is going through to the final. Olly Pearson was given the gift of the semi-final golden buzzer.
The young guitarist, 11, put on an energetic performance with his electric guitar at the Eventim Apollo. Britain's Got Talent boss Simon Cowell was impressed and he hit the semi-final Golden Buzzer for the youngster.

Ahead of the semi-final, Pearson revealed he would love to "rock out" with the royal family if he won the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.
He had said: "There are so many amazing acts this year. I am just really happy to be part of it. Honestly if I won and got the chance to play my guitar at the Royal Variety Performance, it would be awesome! Imagine the Royals rocking out with me."
McKee was the first to get a spot in the BGT grand final after he got the most votes from the public.
The Scottish singer impressed the viewers at home with his own opera twist on Snow Patrol's song Chasing Cars.

Going into the semi-final, McKee had said it would be life-changing to win Britain's Got Talent. He said: "That is a dream. It would change my whole life. Just getting as far as I have has been like living a dream."
He added: "My ultimate dream has been the same my whole life. I want to tour, sing to large audiences and let the world hear my original music and my versions of classics. I would love one day for people to open YouTube and Spotify and choose me as their go to artist."
In a twist to the semi-finals, dance group The Blackouts were also sent through to the final. Judge Holden pressed the golden buzzer in the latest change to the show's format. The Blackouts put on a memorable lights show as they dance in the dark with the lights on their costumes telling a story through their movements.
Ahead of the live show, the new golden buzzer rules were explained.
ITV confirmed: "In each semi-final, either one of the judges or Ant and Dec will be given control of the golden buzzer, and as soon as they see a performance worthy of a place in the final, they will have just one opportunity to press it. That act will be granted a one-way ticket to the final, along with one other act from that night who will be voted in by the public."

Going into the semi-final, The Blackouts spoke about what winning the show would mean to them.
The dance group said: "It would be the honour of a lifetime. We've spent over ten years perfecting this show, mostly behind the scenes, in the dark, literally and figuratively. To be crowned the winners would mean that our story, our work, and our message have truly reached the hearts of the British public. That would be the most beautiful reward we could imagine."
They added: "Our biggest dream is to share our show with people all over the world and especially here in the UK, where we've already felt such a strong connection. We want to perform on the biggest stages, but more than that, we want to bring joy, light, and wonder to audiences everywhere. BGT feels like the start of something huge, and we're ready to give it everything."
Britain's Got Talent's live semi-finals continue on Saturday at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Pregnant Meghan Markle Drops Low in 'Baby Mama Dance' Hospital Video with Prince Harry to Induce Labor with Princess Lilibet
Meghan Markle celebrated her daughter Princess Lilibet's fourth birthday by sharing a throwback photo of the viral dance trend she did with Prince Harry to induce labor with Lilibet In the video, Meghan held her baby bump as she shook her hips, raised her hands in the air and spun around "When spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work - there was only one thing left to do!" Meghan joked on Instagram Meghan Markle shared a glimpse into a candid moment while going into labor with her daughter, Princess Lilibet, in honor of her fourth birthday on Wednesday, June 4. In the clip, filmed in a hospital labor and delivery room, Meghan, 43, dances in a black dress while cradling her baby bump while Starrkeisha's "The Baby Momma Dance" songplays in the background — the same song that fueled a viral social media dance trend at the time. Seconds later, Prince Harry, 40, enters the frame and begins to dance with his wife. Meghan shakes her hips in the clip, puts her arms in the air and spins while Harry shows off his own moves, even dropping it "down low" with Meghan as the lyrics command. "Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work - there was only one thing left to do! 😂," Meghan wrote in the caption on Instagram. While the couple looked joyful in their lighthearted video, Harry revealed harrowing details behind his daughter's birth at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California in his 2023 memoir, Spare. The Duke of Sussex wanted to be the first person Lilibet saw when she was born, so he "went and stood beside the doctor," he wrote in his book. "We both crouched. As if about to pray. The doctor called out: The head is crowning. Crowning, I thought. Incredible." He continued, "The skin was blue. I worried the baby wasn't getting enough air. Is she choking? I looked at Meg. One more push, my love! We're so close." Harry recalled how the doctor helped guide his hands during the birth, writing that he heard "a scream, then a moment of pure liquid silence." "There was only this intense present, and then the doctor turned to me and shouted: Now!" Harry wrote. "Gently, but firmly, as I'd seen in films, I pulled our precious daughter from that world into this." Can't get enough of PEOPLE's Royals coverage? Patrick Mahomes' perfect reaction to Royals' Jac Caglianone callup
The post Patrick Mahomes' perfect reaction to Royals' Jac Caglianone callup appeared first on ClutchPoints. Jac Caglianone is getting his MLB call-up, and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is all in. The Kansas City Royals announced Sunday that their top prospect, a consensus top-10 talent, will make his big league debut after a strong run in the minors. Mahomes, a Royals minority owner since 2020, showed his excitement on social media following the news. The three-time Super Bowl champion, whose father Pat Mahomes Sr. pitched in the majors, has maintained a strong passion for baseball since his days as a dual-sport athlete. Advertisement Mahomes still actively supports the Dallas Mavericks and roots for Texas Tech teams across all major sports. The 29-year-old also keeps close tabs on the teams he co-owns, including the NWSL's Kansas City Current, MLS club Sporting Kansas City, and the F1 Alpine Team. Mahomes has good reason to celebrate Caglianone's call-up. In his first full pro season, 22-year-old Jac Caglianone has torched Double- and Triple-A pitching, slashing .322/.389/.593 with 15 home runs and 56 RBIs over 50 games. Since his promotion to Triple-A, he's stayed hot, batting .319/.370/.723 with six homers in just 12 games. Jac Caglianone with the Royals Dylan Widger-Imagn Images Jac Caglianone, a 6-foot-5, 250-pound slugger from the University of Florida, starred as a two-way player in college before shifting to full-time hitter after the Royals drafted him last July. Advertisement Though he started at first base, he's mainly played outfield in Triple-A and is expected to do the same when he joins the Royals Tuesday in St. Louis. Caglianone is likely to get most of his playing time in the outfield, as the Royals entered Sunday without any active outfielders posting even league-average offense. The Royals need offense from any source they can find. Heading into Sunday, only two of the 10 players with at least 100 plate appearances—Bobby Witt Jr. and Maikel Garcia—had an OPS+ of 100 or higher. As expected, Kansas City sits fourth in the AL Central with a 31-29 record, trailing the Detroit Tigers by eight games, though they remain just one game behind in the wild-card race. The Royals' outfield production has been among the worst in the majors. Through 663 plate appearances, their outfielders have hit just .237/.283/.330 with seven home runs and 46 RBIs — all MLB lows in slugging, home runs, and RBIs. Caglianone's power Caglianone's signature trait is his elite power, showcased by several towering home runs this season. His exit velocities rival those of sluggers like Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani, and he's projected to become a fixture in the heart of the Royals' lineup alongside Witt Jr. Advertisement Even with his elite power, Jac Caglianone has maintained a strikeout rate of only 20% this season. However, the Royals were initially reluctant to promote him due to concerns about his plate discipline, particularly his tendency to swing at pitches outside the strike zone, which they feared big-league pitchers could take advantage of. The Royals have a day off Monday, giving Caglianone time to join the team ahead of Tuesday's game.

Watch Royals' Jac Caglianone's ‘Welcome to the Show' moment in MLB debut
The post Watch Royals' Jac Caglianone's 'Welcome to the Show' moment in MLB debut appeared first on ClutchPoints. The Kansas City Royals made headlines in the 2024 Major League Baseball Draft when they picked Jac Caglianone. The former Florida Gator pitched and hit in college and was one of the best players in his class. Caglianone made his MLB debut with the Royals alongside Bobby Witt Jr. on Tuesday against the St. Louis Cardinals after Matt Quatraro called him up. Advertisement After Witt Jr. hit a two-run home run in the first inning, Caglianone drove a ball deep into the outfield in his first major league at-bat in the second. Unfortunately, Victor Scott II ranged over and made a great play. Scott II's leaping catch wowed fans in St. Louis and galvanized his team. The Cardinals scored seven unanswered run to take a commanding lead. Despite the highlight-reel catch made by Scott II, Quatraro has a lot to like about his first round pick. After pitching and hitting in college, Caglianone announced that he would focus on being a position player as a pro. The move appears to have paid off so far. In the 2025 season, he averages .322 at the plate with 15 home runs across 199 at-bats. Fans will wait to see if Quatraro keeps him around or if he will go back to Salvador Perez in the DH spot. Advertisement If Caglianone stays with the Royals, he brings contact and power to an offense that is only getting better. Witt Jr., Vinnie Pasquantino, and Perez are turning the corner. Because of that, the Royals have a chance to make a move in the American League Central. While Scott II robbed Caglianone of his first major league hit, it won't be long before the rookie makes an impact. The Royals need at least one more player to provide consistent offense outside of their superstar. Witt Jr. is in the MVP race in the AL. However, he and Quatraro need Kansas City's role players to step up in order to get back to the postseason.
