Who Is The Punisher? 6 Takeaways From the Exotic Dancer's Diddy Testimony

Exotic dancer Sharay Hayes, known as The Punisher, made headlines when he testified at Sean 'Diddy' Combs' trial. Hayes claimed in the Tuesday, May 20, courtroom that he was hired for the first time in 2012 to participate in one of Diddy's alleged 'freak offs.' Hayes testified that he was hired to create a 'sexy scene' for Diddy and Cassie, who were in an on and off relationship from 2007 to 2018. Hayes testified that he was told to meet Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura) at New York City's Trump Tower on Central Park West where he assumed he was being hired to perform for a group of women. He claimed he was paid $800 in cash upon arrival. Hayes alleged that Cassie met him at the door in a bathrobe and wig, proceeding to tell him that the 'sexy scene' would involve the two of them 'mutually applying' baby oil on each other. Hayes claimed he was told by Cassie that her partner would join them, but he was unaware of her or Diddy's identity at the time. 'I was specifically told to not acknowledge her husband,' Hayes alleged. Hayes testified that a nude man wearing a veil, who he claimed to be Diddy, entered the room and masturbated in the corner while watching. He claimed that Cassie and the man left the room after about half an hour. When Cassie came back, she allegedly asked Hayes whether he wanted to 'finish' and he declined. He claimed he was paid an additional $1,200 and left the hotel. News broke in September 2024 that Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all of the allegations against him. 'We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney's Office,' Diddy's attorney Marc Agnifilo said in a statement at the time. 'He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.' Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn following his arrest, with his four requests for bail denied by Judge Arun Subramanian. Scroll down to see more takeaways from The Punisher's testimony: Hayes explained that he received the moniker as a teenager because of his style of play on the basketball court. Hayes testified that he is the author of a self-help book, titled In Search of Freezer Meat, about his experiences with erectile dysfunction. Hayes explained that the book delves into his journey with his condition and is 'real, genuine, medical advice but framed through his story. Per the Washington Post, Hayes noted that he 'tried to make light' of the issue in an effort to be relatable. 'What's harder than freezer meat?' Hayes said in the courtroom. Hayes claimed that six and a half pages out of the 182 pages in his book mentioned Diddy and Cassie — but they were not referenced by name. Instead, Hayes referred to them as a married, wealthy couple. 'Point of the story was to pinpoint my anxiety … not necessarily the details of the story,' he said. 'I sensationalized it to make an entertaining story for the book.' Male Escort Nicknamed 'The Punisher' Testifies He Was Hired for a Dozen Diddy Freak Offs The website for Hayes' exotic dancing services, reads, 'In the spirit of such as Chippendales, Getpunished is an upscale option for black and latin women to celebrate there [sic] intimate occasions with the men they want to see. Getpunished is high energy, completely choreographed, audience participation male revue where your wildest fantasies will become reality!' Hayes testified that he's now the co-owner of Hunk-o Mania, an exotic dancer company. After the first time, Hayes claimed he participated in about eight to 12 more freak offs with Diddy and Cassie — and eventually uncovered who they were because he followed the rap mogul on Instagram and recognized Cassie in one of the images. Sean 'Diddy' Combs Is on Trial in NYC: Daily Updates From Inside the Courtroom When the defense highlighted how Hayes expressed in his first government meeting that he started growing feelings for Cassie, Hayes replied, 'That might've been taken out of context because that's not true.' 'It's very important for me to read the room,' he said, adding that he does not dry hump or perform with any woman who is uncomfortable. Hayes testified that he does not do any drugs, claiming he would pull a 'Bill Clinton' and pretend to take a puff from a joint but not inhale if handed one. Lionsgate Head Says AI Can Recut Films for Kids, Create Anime Adaptations, and Save Millions... In Just Hours — GeekTyrant

In a recent interview with New York Magazine, Lionsgate vice chairman Michael Burns opened up on how the studio is starting to experiment with AI, and if what he's saying holds up, it's a glimpse into a very weird (and very real) future for filmmaking. Last September, Lionsgate inked a deal with AI startup Runway, the same company behind several high-profile generative video tools, making it the first major Hollywood studio to partner directly with the tech firm. Burns says the goal is simple: 'make movies and television shows we'd otherwise never make.' 'We can't make it for $100 million, but we'd make it for $50 million because of AI,' he explained. 'We're banging around the art of the possible. Let's try some stuff, see what sticks.' And what 'sticks' could mean anything, from lowering costs to transforming entire franchises for entirely different audiences. Some of the more interesting examples is taking a gritty, R-rated film and repackaging it for kids and turning a film into an anime. 'Now we can say, 'Do it in anime, make it PG-13.' Three hours later, I'll have the movie,' Burns said. 'But I can do that, and now I can resell it.' A full reworking of a major film, adjusted in tone, format, and rating, done in mere hours with AI. It's not just science fiction anymore, this is now a business model. Lionsgate, which holds the rights to massive properties like John Wick and The Hunger Games , now has the option to rework its library for different audiences with just a few tweaks. New York Magazine noted, 'With a library as large as Lionsgate's, they could use Runway to repackage and resell what the studio already owned.' Burns even cited a more grounded, behind-the-scenes example of how this could impact production: 'We have this movie we're trying to decide whether to green-light. There's a 10-second shot — 10,000 soldiers on a hillside with a bunch of horses in a snowstorm.' In the past, shooting that scene would cost millions and take days. Now? AI could generate the shot for about $10,000. Of course, Burns did clarify that AI doesn't erase everyone from the picture. 'I still have to pay the actors and all other rights participants,' he said. 'But I can do that.' So while the creative implications are still a giant question mark, the business play is clea… faster production, lower costs, and endless remix potential. What comes next? We're all about to find out. This is wild, but its the future. The ball is rolling and there's no stopping it.

Michael Rosenbaum Confirms Secret Role in James Gunn's SUPERMAN — GeekTyrant

Michael Rosenbaum the actor who played the fan-favorite Lex Luthor from Smallville just revealed he is part of James Gunn's upcoming Superman reboot… but maybe not in the way people expected. During a panel at Fan Expo Dallas, Rosenbaum said that he's recorded a 'fun' little voice role for the film. 'James asked me to do something fun, so I have a couple of lines that I voice,' he said. 'There was nothing in this one, but he's the head of DC, so I think he can stick me in a movie or something.' So, no major character reveal, but there is a mysterious voice role, which could likely one of the robot companions at Superman's Fortress of Solitude, where Gunn has already confirmed Alan Tudyk and Michael Rooker are lending their talents. Rosenbaum, of course, is no stranger to voice work. He famously brought Wally West's Flash to life in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited , and has stayed close with Gunn over the years, appearing as crystal-skinned Martinex in all three Guardians of the Galaxy films. With Gunn now running the show at DC, It makes sense that he'd want to bring Rosenbuam along for the ride in anyway that he can. This character he plays in Superman may not be a big role, but maybe Gunn's got something more exciting planned for the actor somewhere down the line. When asked why he wasn't doing more in Superman, Rosenberg said: 'Why am I not in Superman? Why am I not in the movie somehow?' he recalled asking Gunn. But he's not bitter about it, just realistic. 'Whatever comes to me, I look at it, and if it's not too silly, or if it makes me laugh, or I think I could do a really good job, or I think I can make an impression, I'll do it.' Superman hits theaters on Rosenbaum's birthday, July 11, 2025, a fitting gift from one of his best friend. 'He's one of my best friends, and he's very loyal. I think he's got a great vision,' Rosenbaum said of Gunn. Even Smallville's Clark Kent, Tom Welling, chimed in with some love: 'Once (Michael) gets involved, it's better.'
