Kmart shoppers obsess over $30 'dupe' of Victoria Beckham's $800 jeans: 'They look so high-end'

Daily Maila day ago

Kmart has just dropped a designer dupe so good, even Posh Spice herself might do a double take.
Fashion-savvy Aussie women are rushing in-store and online to snap up the latest must-have wardrobe staple, and for very good reason.
The retail giant's $30 Wide Leg Pocket Jeans are flying off the shelves after shoppers noticed their striking resemblance to Victoria Beckham 's cult-favourite (and extremely pricey) $800 Alina Wide Leg Jeans.
Right down to the tailored silhouette, oversized patch front pockets, flared bell-bottoms, and flattering high-waisted cut, this 'dupe' is most definitely note-worthy.
The Kmart jeans - described as the 'perfect fit' - were originally available in shades Black, Light Wash Blue, Mid Wash Blue, but have now newly launched in a neutral shade called 'Ecru Denim', mimicking Posh's popular style almost exactly.
With the temperatures at an all-time low across the country, it's no wonder Kmart have listened to the growing demand this winter with a pair of pants that flatter everyone.
Melbourne mum Zeljka Abaza, who regularly shares affordable fashion finds with her 28,000 Instagram followers, has posted a video of herself styling the 'it' jeans in the newly released Ecru Denim colour.
'The must have jeans', she captioned the video, showing how she effortlessly paired the bargain pair with a crisp blue shirt tied up to the neck, and cream boots for a chic, professional look.
The retail giant's $30 Wide Leg Pocket Jeans (pictured) are flying off the shelves for being a great 'dupe' of a very popular Victoria Beckham cut
The jeans, like Posh's, are crafted from 100 per cent durable cotton perfect for a structured and more tailored look.
The resemblance is hard to deny, with Kmart's version offering a near-identical look for less than four per cent of the price.
With their structured wide-leg cut, high-rise waist, and oversized patch pockets, they tick every box for comfort, style, and versatility as well as being flattering and forgiving for most body types.
The addition of the Ecru shade – a creamy, soft neutral tone – couldn't have come at a better time. As Australians embrace pared-back tones and 'quiet luxury' dressing this winter, this shade is the perfect cool-weather alternative to stark white denim.
Dozens of reviews on Kmart's website echo the same sentiment:
'Great style, fit, colour. My favourite jeans,' one raved.
'These are outstanding cut and fit, good quality 100 per cent cotton rigid denim and they are amazing,' another wrote.
'The front pockets are great because they don't add bulk to wider hips… I'm 170cm and these are long,' another noted on the popular style.
'They look so high end,' one suggested.
While another added: 'It can be hard to find the perfect white pair of jeans and these look amazing.'

With the video of Zeljka's styling racking up tens of thousands of views, it's no wonder stock is moving fast - with some revealing they have been struggling to get their hands on the jeans.
'Out of stock everywhere… all colours,' one said.
If you're looking to elevate your winter wardrobe without blowing the budget, you might want to add these jeans to your cart before they sell out.
And if 'Mum jeans' are more your style, take this as a little P.S.A, because Kmart have the 'perfect pair' for just $25 right now.
Aussie shoppers are rushing to get their hands on the ultra-flattering denim that fans are calling 'the best jeans ever', thanks to a fit that suits every body shape.
The classic high-waisted cut, relaxed leg, and just-right amount of stretch are winning over fashionistas across the country after earning a near-perfect 4.5 out of 5 stars.
The 'super comfy' jeans are so popular that it has received more than 120 five-star reviews, with many praising them for hugging the waist, smoothing the hips, and giving that effortlessly cool off-duty model vibe.
'This is the third pair I have brought over the past three years. I brought one then realised very quickly that the length and colour were bang on. Couldn't be more happier... Wash super well, slight shrinkage but once you have them on for an hour, back to normal size,' one shopper wrote in a glowing review.
'Perfect fit! I'm a size 20 /172cm tall and usually struggle to find jeans that are high waisted enough but these are brilliant. Hope Kmart keeps making these forever, literally my go-to denim at the moment,' another raved.
'I have worn my first pair to death. They are flattering, comfy, and go with everything. Can wear them cuffed or not. They are such great value for the price,' one shared.
The Mum Jeans come in a mid-wash colour, with sizes ranging from 6 to 20 - making them not only stylish but inclusive too.

David Beckham announced as guest editor of Country Life magazine after years of reading 'every issue from cover to cover'

It was only last month that David Beckham charmed the King through his love of gardening. And now he will continue to put his green thumb to use as the former footballer is announced as the latest star to guest edit Country Life Magazine. The father-of-four, who is tipped for a knighthood in the King's birthday honours list, is known for being a staunch royalist and has swapped the football pitch for the countryside in recent years. The one-off edition is said to feature Beckham's best-loved recipe, as well as his rural champions, and the craftsmen and women who have helped to shape his home in the Cotswolds, together with an insight into how the countryside has come to play an increasingly important role in his life. King Charles has twice guest-edited Country Life to mark his 65th birthday in November 2013 and his 70th in 2018 when he was the Prince of Wales. In 2020, the Princess Royal masterminded a special issue to commemorate her 70th birthday, while the Queen, then the Duchess of Cornwall, took the editorial reins in 2022 to mark her 75th birthday – and produced a record-breaking sell-out edition. David Beckham said: 'I am honoured to have been invited to guest edit an edition of a magazine that I have always admired and read. I am really looking forward to working with the editorial team to produce an issue that will celebrate what the countryside and the great British landscape means to me and my family.' David, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51, bought their £12m Cotswolds mansion in 2016 and he has since developed a love for beekeeping and growing vegetables. So proud of his work, Mr Beckham even presented the King with a jar of honey he harvested at home when the pair met at the British Fashion Council Foundation Impact Day 2023. The ex-England captain last month chatted with King Charles at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London, with their bond reportedly growing close in recent years through their shared love of gardening. The 76-year-old monarch was heard congratulating the former England footballer on his landmark celebrations – and asked the star whether he had received their present. Standing outside the Highgrove stand run by the monarch's charity, the King's Foundation, Beckham – who is now an ambassador for the organisation – greeted the sovereign warmly and said: 'Your Majesty, it's so nice to see you.' Astonishingly, Charles then appeared to ask whether he had received the birthday present that he and his wife had sent. 'You got it, didn't you?' he asked. 'It was incredible,' beamed Beckham. 'Thank you, it was very kind.' Camilla then added: 'Nice to see you again, glad you got the roses.' Earlier this week it was revealed the former footballer is to be awarded a knighthood on the King's Birthday Honour's List after being snubbed for years. The former Manchester United and England star, who recently celebrated his 50th birthday, will be confirmed as a 'Sir' when the list is released next week. Mr Beckham, who played for his country 115 times and was captain of the England football team for six years before he retired from the game in 2013, has long been a fan of Country Life, a fact he lost no time in telling Editor-in-Chief Mark Hedges when they first met nearly two years ago. Mark Hedges recalled: 'As soon as we were introduced, David told me how much he loves Country Life. He reads every issue from cover to cover and it's been a great companion to him as he's developed his own life in the countryside. 'I'm absolutely delighted that David has agreed to guest edit the magazine, especially as it will be my 1,000th issue since I became Editor. 'I know he has a deep love of the countryside, which has grown since he retired as a professional footballer, although he is, of course, still extremely busy as a businessman and an ambassador for a host of causes, such as UNICEF and The King's Foundation, as well as being co-owner of Inter Miami CF in the US and Salford City Football Club in the UK. As someone who is passionate about the countryside, I'm excited to see what his special commemorative issue will bring.'

Farmer Wants A Wife Spoiler: Farmer Jack's final pick LEAKED as season comes to an end

The sun is setting on the 15th season of Farmer Wants A Wife, but there's still time for a few spoilers. Dairy farmer Jack, 26, may have been the newcomer, but he's been decisive from day dot, whittling down eight potential matches down to two - Olivia and Sarah - quicker than you can milk an udder. Now insiders have 'leaked' who has won Jack's heart. While Olivia's chemistry with the farmer at the black tie party was undeniable, Jack had his eyes on Sarah from the get-go, taking her on the first 24-hour date. According to a FWAW insider, it seems the 29-year-old personal assistant is Jack's final choice. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'Farmer Jack's final pick is Sarah, apparently,' the source told Chattr. While past seasons have ended with heartwarming updates and countryside lovebirds riding off into the sunset, this year's reunion promises fireworks, behind-the-scenes truths, and a few very awkward catch-ups. Unlike MAFS, the FWAW reunion will only feature the couples who made it to the end together. And the reunion - hosted by returning favourite Natalie Gruzlewski - won't just be a cosy catch-up. While it will centre on the successful couples, fans can expect more raw honesty and awkward admissions than ever before. 'I heard it was just the successful couples talking about whether they've moved or plan to move. Everyone was together at that stage as far as I've been told,' one insider told Chattr. However, Daily Mail Australia can reveal that producers are planning to include some of the biggest behind-the-scenes dramas in the special - including what really happened on Tom's farm. 'Producers were lovely, Tom wasn't,' a cast member told Chattr. 'He kept saying he didn't want to lead anyone on, but led everyone on except Georgie. It was clear as day. 'There were tears, there were walkouts. This wasn't your usual Farmer reunion – it felt more like a MAFS wrap party with pitchforks.' Farmer Wants A Wife continues Monday at 7.30pm on Channel 7.

NRL player Matt Allwood who became a TV star suffers horror spinal injury in tackle gone wrong

Former Canberra Raiders and New Zealand Warriors star Matt Allwood is awaiting surgery after suffering a serious spinal injury during a match last Saturday. The 32-year-old - who also starred in the most recent season of Alone Australia on SBS - was badly hurt when he stopped a rival player from scoring a try while playing his first match for the Dora Creek Swampies. The club, which is located on the NSW central coast, has launched an appeal to help the father of three, who is currently unable to work. 'Matt Allwood - a proud father, husband and incredible football player took the field as a Swampie for the first time on Saturday against Waratah,' the club wrote. 'As Matt made an incredible try saving tackle, he unfortunately injured himself, sustaining a very serious spinal injury. 'Matt has an uncertain road to recovery, and is unable to work as he is still awaiting to find out the full extent of his injuries and awaiting surgery, this certainly will put a strain on the young family.' The former Raiders and Warriors player (pictured with his family) was badly hurt while he made a try-saving tackle The Raiders - where Allwood played in 2014 before switching to the Warriors - also directed their fans to the fundraiser on social media. Allwood appeared on Alone Australia earlier this year, with the show challenging Aussies to survive for as long as possible after being dropped off in separate wilderness areas where they are devoid of human contact. He lasted 16 days in the bush in the rugged West Coast Range of Tasmania as he competed against nine others. 'To be honest, I was rattled,' he said after returning to civilisation. 'It was too much being out there on my own away from my family with no contact.' After the show aired, his wife Ainsely posted a heartfelt message to him on Facebook. ''SO BLOODY PROUD OF YOU MATTY!!' she wrote. 'Anyone sitting at home on their couch watching, thinking they could do better, go on. APPLY!! 'Like to see you not eat for 10 days. 'Longest 1st tap out in the history of Alone Australia and 2nd longest tap out in history of the whole Alone Series!' Allwood's upbringing on a NSW cattle farm was great preparation for the show, and his Instagram account is full of videos and photos of him practising his bushcraft. 'Growing up, I didn't watch Bob the Builder - I was out hunting grandpa's rabbits,' he told the Warriors.
