High Grade Ni/PGE Adjoining Globex's Tyrone Property

In a press release dated May 29, 2025, (click here to access), Azimut announced the assay results of 'Thirty (30) selected high-grade nickel samples from the Perseus Nickel Zone, all with grades higher than 3.0% Ni ranging from 3.46% to 19.60% Ni, were analysed for the complete suite of PGE (Platinum Group Elements), including platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd), and the rarest PGEs, rhodium (Rh), iridium (lr), ruthenium (Ru) and osmium (Os). These nickel samples are commonly associated with high palladium grades ranging from 1.16 g/t Pd to 12.15 g/t Pd, and high platinum grades up to 3.65 g/t Pt.
These samples also returned significant grades for the rarest PGEs, with up to 1.16 g/t Rh, 0.43 g/t Ir, 2.75 g/t Ru and 0.45 g/t Os, adding significant potential value to the Perseus Zone. For indicative purposes only, the current market prices for some of the PGE's are: rhodium: US$5,325/oz.; iridium: US$4,150/oz., platinum: US$1,088/oz., palladium: US$998/oz. and ruthenium: US$615/oz. (prices as of May 27, 2025; source Johnson Matthey (https:/matthey.com/).
Gold and tellurium contents are also anomalous, with grades up to 1.13 g/t Au and 32.1 g/t Te respectively.
The additional assay data indicates greater economic potential than previously thought. The high-grade mineralization intersected in previously reported drill holes and the new high-grade nickel and Platinum Group Elements (PGE) mineralized system associated with komatiitic volcanics bears similarities to Archean Kambalda-type komatiitic nickel deposits as found in the Kambalda district of Western Australia. The high-grade mineralization is associated with a magnetic anomaly which can be followed onto Globex's Tyrone property into an area not previously extensively explored. This is highly prospective as Azimut reports that the zone 'remains open in all directions'. Other parts of the Tyrone property show numerous high-grade copper, gold and silver occurrences in trenches and grab samples of up to 47.2 g/t Au, 71 g/t Ag and 7.4% Cu.

Downtown developers partner with MacEwan University to offer discounted rent to students

A lease on an eligible unit must be signed before Sept. 1, 2025, to qualify for the discount. Access to ‘freezing' breast cancer treatment expanding at Montreal hospital
Cryoablation, offered for the first time in Quebec at the Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM) since last year, is now available to a larger number of breast cancer patients, according to The Canadian Press. Initially reserved for patients with tumours measuring no more than 1.5 centimetres, this innovative cold ablation technique can now sometimes be used to reduce the size of larger tumours and prevent complications. Dr. Matthew Seidler, head of breast imaging at the CHUM's radiology department, said that left alone, a tumour will continue to grow to the point where it can cause pain and even break through the skin and become infected. 'This is really difficult to manage, especially for an elderly patient who is at the end of their life,' he explained. 'In some cases, we can now offer cryoablation as a palliative treatment to reduce the size of the tumour so that it causes fewer symptoms.' Cryoablation involves 'freezing' the cancerous tumour using an ultra-fine needle. The procedure, which is performed under local anesthetic, leaves virtually no scarring, and the patient is usually discharged the same day. Rapid freezing at -40 degrees Celsius and subsequent thawing cause a cascade of cell deaths that can destroy the tumour. Not only does the cold cause the cancer cells to die, but it also triggers the expression of tumour antigens that are then recognized by the human body, causing an inflammatory response by the immune system. In the context of breast cancer, Seidler pointed out that 'it is not necessarily the tumour in the breast that kills patients, but when the patient develops metastases,' and the disease spreads elsewhere. When the tumour is small, he added, we can be reasonably certain that it will be completely frozen. But with a larger tumour, 'it is more difficult to be sure that the tumour is completely enclosed by our ice cube and ... there is a risk of residual disease.' 'In a situation like this, the goal is rather to reduce the tumour burden to avoid complications,' explained Dr Seidler. In 2025, he added, breast cancer treatment involves an 'arsenal' of therapies – surgery, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, etc. – as a 'multidisciplinary approach' often yields the 'best results.' 'The treatments have a synergistic effect,' said Seidler. 'It's always better to combine treatments when possible.' The recently unveiled results of the ICE3 clinical trial support this. The data reveal that 3.6 per cent of the 194 patients treated with cryoablation had relapsed after five years, 'which is still very good,' said Seidler. The relapse rate was only 2.6 per cent among patients who received adjuvant therapy in addition to cryoablation. 'It's statistics like these that encourage me to explain to my patients that yes, cryoablation can be a good option, but ideally it should be combined with other treatments if possible,' said Seidler. That said, cryoablation remains a new technique, and the scientific literature on it is sparse compared to that available for other treatments. It's important to raise awareness among the medical community, treat more patients to gain experience, and generate data that will reveal whether the technique can be extended 'to other indications,' said Seidler. Nova Scotia premier pitching ambitious ‘Wind West' offshore wind energy project

THE CANADIAN PRESS/AP-Michael Dwyer HALIFAX — In response to Prime Minister Mark Carney's bid to make Canada an 'energy superpower,' Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston is floating the idea of dramatically ramping up the province's nascent offshore wind energy industry. In an online video released earlier this week, Houston says he's hoping Carney's Liberal government will supply the federal money needed for a new megaproject the premier has dubbed 'Wind West.' The Progressive Conservative premier says the province is 'on the edge of a clean energy breakthrough' and he plans to support construction of enough offshore wind turbines to supply 27 per cent of Canada's total demand for electricity. The video was released with little fanfare on Monday, a day before Canada's provincial and territorial leaders met with Carney in Saskatoon, where the premiers pitched their wish lists for major projects. Nova Scotia has no offshore wind turbines, but the province is in the process of licensing projects that could produce up to five gigawatts of electricity by 2030. The premier's plan calls for private and government funding to pay for construction of enough turbines to generate 40 gigawatts of electricity — eight times greater than the current projects — as well as a cross-country electricity cable. Meanwhile, Houston's government has yet to release any details about how this plan would be rolled out, aside from what's in the video. 'Of course, there are questions,' Houston says. 'Big projects always raise questions. But we are committed to working with Nova Scotians to ensure this project will benefit everyone.'
